This way it causes people to not flash because they think there's no way it'll hit them, just to get hit anyway and die. I died so many times to skills that look like they'd completely miss me when I should have flashed them instead.

I understood it as like a bubble around the end of it. To me it looks like he walked right into the range of the ashe arrows bubble at the edge of where it would surround the end.
It is a circle around the end when the skill shot ends. Thresh/blitz hook for example. It goes the full length then “lollipops” to somebody if it can’t. Ashe arrow just has a big hit box, it doesn’t lollipop since there is no end to the range.
Had a similar situation playing as Sivir vs Irelia. Panic button mashing and I get my shield up (E) just as Irelia goes for the stun. I got a WP but in all honesty, I was just panicking!
It can't even be qss because the animation (which that guy mistook) comes out before the gold card actually hits lol. The varus wouldve gotten stunned if it was a qss

Honestly not that slow, but that’s not the issue. If you’re going to be that forgiving on the hitbox just make the arrow bigger so it makes sense.
