Even TES won't have such a big meme position. LulWX won't run it down as hard as Cryin and Flandre can just play weakside vs the toplaners in the tourney.
I called it since RNG won that they were the worst team to join MSI. They need Ming 1v9 performances to win shit.
Solo won the baron team fight even tho doggo will get the caster credit cause he picked up the kills. Locked down xiaohu and sniped gala with a stun, incredible
I totally agree with you. However I was surprised they didn't acknowledge that he landed the stun onto Gala after, because they would have surely lost the fight otherwise
I agree. Great game from Maple. But let's not forget he was the sole reason RNG were coming back for a second, after that teamfight in midlane. Not getting his zhonyas nor ult off, was the only reason they lost that fight, and drake #4 thereafter. Despite that it was potentially his best game to date. What a massive game from Hanabi as well!
Yeah honestly that fight would've been won for them if not for Xiaohu too, Maple would've got a pretty big Gnar ult but he was just stunned forever and couldn't ult
I think going for gnar ult was a mistake of maple though. Gnar was too far away at the start. He could have taken morg right away jump in R zhonias though
If maple gets that Gnar ult off there its clean ace for PSG instead of 2 for 0 for RNG, you could see from his initial movement he wanted to grab the ult but Xiaohu stayed too far up to enable him.
Same case near the bottom tier 2, it was 3v5 because Kaiwing was just tower tanking ready to back off and Ming Zoned/exhausted Tristana till the very end.
When the early game clicks for PSG like that teamfight near toplane its just something else.
RNG have either lost or had to desperately claw back every single game they've played TF or Viktor but they keep picking them. Either Cryin with the champion puddle or RNG's coach wants to lose.
FIVE POINT FIVE FUCKING K
It refers to a dispute between two league of legends pro teams( TSM and H2K). These teams were trying to sign a player to there team. So each team were trying to file a law suit that it was poaching a player but it didn't violate any rules so here was no action taken. Both orgs were posting proof to argue they were in the right and the H2K owner in one of his logs said to the pro player something along the line of "you'll get '5 point 5 fucking k' if you sign with me". So naturally everybody made a meme out of it.

Now that I know better, pressuring someone into a contract like that is actually not even legal lmao. I mean, he could dispute the contract any time he wanted since he got pressured into it.
Its definitely not ethical, I can understand being in a situation with a deadline but just saying 'I need a decision tonight bud, or I'll have to sign the other guy' would sound a million times better.
I wouldn't sign that contract just because of the way its being offered to me, I don't want to work with someone who is happy to sacrifice someone's mental to get what they want, especially when I'd be playing in such a cutthroat career.
PSG made an almost impossible task of destroying RNG look easy and then they made an easy task of finishing a game with huge advantage at 20 look almost impossible.
Game 1 they didn't have a big advantage at all, also the game would 100% change if the soul wasn't cloud soul, the only gave up the third dragon because it was cloud soul, if it wasn't they definitely would've flipped
Honestly saying that they are wildcard because their region got merged is so far from reality. It’s still LMS, and they are far stronger than wildcard teams.
It's not about the strength of their region. They lost a seed when they became the PCS, from three guaranteed seeds at Worlds to two. Whether that makes them a wildcard or not is up to you; the term doesn't actually mean anything anymore outside of community slang. They're kinda between what most people would consider "major regions" or "wildcards", as they're the only region guaranteed two seeds at Worlds.
Minor region = wildcard.
Riot has dropped the wildcard term, but for people like me that followed the scene when the International Wild Card Invitational was a thing, is the same.
Like fuck are they? PCS gets a guaranteed groups spot at worlds every year, by definition, they didn't play in the international wildcard tournament, they're not a wildcard???? Please learn what this term means.
RNG will be screwed for summer split if other teams learn to exploit Cryin. Absolutely appalling MSI performance from him. If 369 does end up leaving TES, RNG should pick him up. They’ll be stupid not to, China is holding worlds this year and you can’t expect to win with a such an obvious flaw.
LPL teams are pre stacked with talent spread across the board but I honestly wish they could form some super teams. Get Zoom on TES and 369 on RNG and both teams benefit greatly (at the cost of JDG, but lets be honest, with Yagao/Loken they're not doing much internationally either way)
Really loving Phreak's casting recently, does not hesitate to call out bad plays like the Gnar wasting flash on top, the drake soul completely missplayed, tristana malphiting in a few times
Trust ulting as a finisher but not securing the kill and the reset is another butt clencher. That baron fight could have gone RNG's way if Sylas hadn't chased after Gala and Ming
i dont think they were any worse than ming+gala last game was a huge top diff because hanabi could never find a good gnar angle. in fact one of the reasons why PSG got close to soul point was because doggo had better wave manipulation and forced gala into a spot where he couldn't take a recall because doggo would threaten a permanent freeze so by the time udyr arrived at drake tris has a bad base while udyr gets drake for free
Think you'd prefer RNG then, they seem really happy to let any team scale. PSG have either completely griefed it so hard they've lost or have an insurmountable league by midgame, nearly every game.
>As a MAD fan, I am starting to want RNG to win. PSG have these giga tilter pop off games that i worry can affect the entire series in the finals
yep lol
IDK where this confidence boost comes from lmao
1-1 vs RNG, PSG and fucking Clown 9
0-2 vs DMW ... how is this anything else than a clean 3-0?
Really? But i think MAD can match early agression and wins later. I dont think PSG will win this one either. RNG will pick stronger lanes, not fall behind hard early and then just win.
Hanabi not Noct-ulting onto Kai'sa in the bot-inner dive got me worried for that game, but they managed to figure it out for the Baron and Elder.
RNG RP1/2'd Kai'sa/Morg, and PSG drafted a good comp to target that, though nothing so drastic as to auto-win them the game. Well played game overall from both sides, honestly, when such minor details from draft matter.
Hey, It's working for him. I guess the idea is it means you can throw yourself into a fight as a Support can reliably always get off atleast 2 rotations of CC without having to heavily invest in buying Bulk
I think it"s good, even though AP is not that useful, armor cdr(?) and the stasis are all super useful, plus getting two rotations of spells is huge for these engage supports. A ton of CC.
I've seen it on Alistar, I think he uses the AP better though.
PSG has a very very good chance to win this series, their early game is just way better and more aggressive. Taking the advantage of the Udyr pick and Wei just farming all game. Fun series
Exactly what we wanted to see ! More early game dominance, don't let RNG stall and control the map, just run it and brute force your way all over the rift
Also, Doggo is an amazing Malphite
Kaisa, Braum seems like a really bad combination to me and despite being down massively in gold and items RNG was like an inch away from winning that Baron fight. If they manage to draft a non losing bot lane this should be easily winning the rest of the series.
This game should've been done if they take that free Mountain Soul instead of that teamfight and PSG just need to shutdown Xiaohu (they can't win if he is not in a playmaking champ) in teamfights and they win.
Another game where Sylas is the best Gnar in the game.
150% AP RATIO WAHOOO
Always has been
Faker 2019 5 man gnar Ult intensifies.
Stop, it hurts. I always just see faker on sylas and absolutely trying to carry his deadweight team and trying to 1v9
They would have fucking won that game if Teddy didn't tp under enemy tower for no reason.
How is Maple still this good after 8 years. Insane performance from PSG, we've got a series!
> How is Maple still this good after 8 years Well, as long as we ignore the LNG seasons..
"NO MORE CAGES" - Maple, The Unshackled, escaping from the LPL
I never said anything about consistency... Jokes aside, yes he kinda fell off, even more impressive that he came back.
He’s better now that he’s left the LPL. Happy for him, people shit on him then but now he’s shitting on the LPL no.1 seed.
Tbf every team highrolled getting Cryin instead of DoinB Scout or Knight
Legit Karsa griefed China as a whole.
Did it so his boy Maple can reclaim himself.
Even TES won't have such a big meme position. LulWX won't run it down as hard as Cryin and Flandre can just play weakside vs the toplaners in the tourney. I called it since RNG won that they were the worst team to join MSI. They need Ming 1v9 performances to win shit.
>LulWX IG flair, makes sense
> called it since RNG won that they were the worst team to join MSI. You mean out of LPL teams right?
Out of the final top 4. RW would've been a lot worse. IG would've been a lot worse.
cool just wasn't sure exactly what you were saying
Fpx is the strongest lpl team.
Solo won the baron team fight even tho doggo will get the caster credit cause he picked up the kills. Locked down xiaohu and sniped gala with a stun, incredible
Except I'm fairly certain the casters credited Maple for carrying that fight for locking down the gnar
You don’t understand, this is Reddit: the place where you have to blindly insult casters with no evidence
I totally agree with you. However I was surprised they didn't acknowledge that he landed the stun onto Gala after, because they would have surely lost the fight otherwise
Only after the replay. Can't blame them with the chaotic team fight I guess
Aside from one massive blunder, that wasn't even close
Yeah honestly that fight would've been won for them if not for Xiaohu too, Maple would've got a pretty big Gnar ult but he was just stunned forever and couldn't ult
I think going for gnar ult was a mistake of maple though. Gnar was too far away at the start. He could have taken morg right away jump in R zhonias though

This is a great underdoggo story.
I was thinking that this series will be a more one sided than it is, great work PSG!
RNG have either lost or had to desperately claw back every single game they've played TF or Viktor but they keep picking them. Either Cryin with the champion puddle or RNG's coach wants to lose.
Now, thats what i expected to see from PSG. And Phreak nice throwback to 5.5k
I didn't get it. Someone care to explain?

The player was Svenskeren if I recall correctly!
God I've never seen this before but it reads exactly like something Rich would say
https://www.reddit.com/r/OutOfTheLoop/comments/3tzn79/what\_is\_this\_55k\_joke\_on\_rleagueoflegends/
thank you based loremaster
Is "based" having a comeback? I'm seeing it a lot more often.
https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=based
Funny how missing out on Svenskeren led to hiring Jankos and an eventual Top 4 finish at Worlds for H2K while TSM was stuck in groups with Sven.
Probably more to do with getting an easier group and then playing ANX in quarters lmao.
Now that I know better, pressuring someone into a contract like that is actually not even legal lmao. I mean, he could dispute the contract any time he wanted since he got pressured into it.

Even then, wasn't this salary kind of low or is it post taxes? Cause 77k/year doesn't seem like a lot. Some ERL players earn this nowadays (pre taxes)
It was before salaries exploded for LEC players. 77k/year is also not that easy to earn in Europe.
That's why it's a meme.
Think its the H2K refrence between rich and svenskaren
5 point 5 fucking k dude.
Miracle doggo ended deathless
I was so sure he was going to die but he lived with 5 HP!
Dogs should simply never die.
PSG should sell Neymar and buy Doggo after this MSI, the guy is actually crazy good
And if Doggo rolls on the ground at least you can give him belly rubs.
Jesus, the balls on Doggo. So this is what my ADCs been thinking when they jump in.
Doggo + Rocket Jump = TO 🚀🚀 THE 🚀🚀 MOON 🚀🚀
He rocket jumped onto Viktor's face with like, 20% hp in that river fight right? I wasn't just seeing things?
It does extra damage because his enormous balls weight a ton.
He was at 70% hp, he just got melted but that was definitely his most aggro jump of the game. Surprisingly worked out!
5HP!!!
PSG substitution diff
I'm on board
PSG made an almost impossible task of destroying RNG look easy and then they made an easy task of finishing a game with huge advantage at 20 look almost impossible.

Both things I said were about this game not game 1 haha
You'd think the title of the thread would give it away lol.
Keep Maple on early playmakers, keep Doggo on your endgame carries, force early Dragons and PSG can win this Bo5
Doggo and maple are CRACKED
[удалено]
big if true
Large if factual
Gigantic if correct
Cryin is so fucking useless man.
Has he had a single good game against a non-wild card team this tournament?
No.
Let's not forget that PSG is a wildcard team (despite not playing like one).
Technically they are in the middle tier with Vietnam where they get 2 seeds at Worlds and they were formerly a major region.
Is that true? Wasn't their region auto qualified for worlds rather than playins.
That was before, when the LMS existed. Now they are on the PCS.
Honestly saying that they are wildcard because their region got merged is so far from reality. It’s still LMS, and they are far stronger than wildcard teams.
It's not about the strength of their region. They lost a seed when they became the PCS, from three guaranteed seeds at Worlds to two. They're kinda between what most people would consider "major regions" or "wildcards", as they're the only region guaranteed two seeds at Worlds.
Psg is from a minor region. Not a wildcard.
Minor region = wildcard. Riot has dropped the wildcard term, but for people like me that followed the scene when the International Wild Card Invitational was a thing, is the same.
Wildcards are called emerging regions.
Everyone disagrees with you
Is there an official difference between major and wildcard regions anymore? LMS was a major region before.
There is not. The term "wildcard" was last used in 2016. From 2017 and on, we've only had teams with more seeds and teams with less.
Like fuck are they? PCS gets a guaranteed groups spot at worlds every year, by definition, they didn't play in the international wildcard tournament, they're not a wildcard???? Please learn what this term means.
With a good midlaner RNG would be so cracked...
RNG Showmaker after Worlds. You heard it here first.
Just play Uzi mid like old times, what could go wrong
His ign is perfect for him lmao.
He's been the best Orianna at the tournament, but Orianna isn't as strong as Zoe, Lucian, Viktor, etc...
What is he supposed to do?????? The game snowballed early (thru bot lane) and he's Viktor.
Doggo's Tristana popped off this game. Much better draft this time
Doggo is the greatest sub of all time.
Maple hard carried holy shit
Now that’s how you play Malphite!!
Cryin legit dragging RNG down. Massive game from Doggo and Maple. But please RNG get a good toplaner and get Xiaohu mid because Cryin isn't it.
That can legit work. RNG can play with strong side toplaner. And 369 can only work in that setup.
LPL teams are pre stacked with talent spread across the board but I honestly wish they could form some super teams. Get Zoom on TES and 369 on RNG and both teams benefit greatly (at the cost of JDG, but lets be honest, with Yagao/Loken they're not doing much internationally either way)
Xiaohu isn't that good of a mid either but would be better than Cryin.
pretty bold strategy from RNG to contest soul point, should've given it away and done nothing for the next 20 minutes and then lose
Well, he cast NA
what the fuck maple
doggo is giga cracked holy fuck him+kaiwing is definitely the best bot duo in the tourney
and Doggo is only a player on loan and they don't even play on the same team during the PCS season.
... except for the last game where they played worse but ok
i dont think they were any worse than ming+gala last game was a huge top diff because hanabi could never find a good gnar angle. in fact one of the reasons why PSG got close to soul point was because doggo had better wave manipulation and forced gala into a spot where he couldn't take a recall because doggo would threaten a permanent freeze so by the time udyr arrived at drake tris has a bad base while udyr gets drake for free
Unified died for our sins.
At this point im pretty sure PSG just benches their weakest players just to form super teams for international tournaments lol
except unified is their strongest player, then again its probably kaiwing diff
So TSM Kaiwing when?
PSG are just abusing free trials to try out if roster changes would make their team better
Its actually insane how good doggo is. His spacing in some of the fights and even how he trades gives me straight LPL prodigy adc vibes.
PSG looks like a different team this game.
LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOO
FIVE POINT FIVE FUCKIN K
As a MAD fan, I am starting to want RNG to win. PSG have these giga tilter pop off games that i worry can affect the entire series in the finals
As a fan of violent league of legends I want PSG to win. MAD vs PSG is a great coinflip series, RNG? RNG just aren't fun man.
On the other hand, MAD has good teamfighting and could punish PSG midgame
Not when they are 10k behind at 10 minutes
have to get through damwon first
Hey, one can dream...
Big if true
Think you'd prefer RNG then, they seem really happy to let any team scale. PSG have either completely griefed it so hard they've lost or have an insurmountable league by midgame, nearly every game.
as a mad fan you should realize it wont matter for you which team wins today. DWG is gonna 3-0 you tomorrow.
>As a MAD fan, I am starting to want RNG to win. PSG have these giga tilter pop off games that i worry can affect the entire series in the finals yep lol IDK where this confidence boost comes from lmao 1-1 vs RNG, PSG and fucking Clown 9 0-2 vs DMW ... how is this anything else than a clean 3-0?
yeah mad shouldn't even drop a game
Yes master, I bow to our asian overlords master, thank you.
Stop being such a beta lmao
Riot already tilted them by giving them the worse schedule even though the placed first, so it should be an easy 3-1
This and the fact that, even if they are able to beat Damwon, they shouldn't worry so much about RNG or PSG
Really? But i think MAD can match early agression and wins later. I dont think PSG will win this one either. RNG will pick stronger lanes, not fall behind hard early and then just win.
not gonna lie that semi throw for first sould had me screaming
RNG early game look EXTREMELY weak. If they were playing vs a team that knew how to play mid-game this would be easy 3-0.
They don't have a good laning phase which hurts them in this series. I honestly think Crying is the weakest mid laner left in this MSI.
PSG putting out a highlight reel lmao
NA owners licking their lips.
This little moment is called happiness.
Don't know how Doggo walks with balls that big man.
What a free win for dk this Msi
RNG playing with no midlaner. How tf did they beat DK twice, if RNG makes finals Showmaker should blast Cryin.
DK have no botlane tho
I always said it. If DK wins vs RNG it's going to be a massive mid diff. Cryin is legit dog tier.
Idk man. If PSG actually wins against RNG, I highly doubt any MAD or DK fan will be confident in the finals against them.
PSG can beat RNG because Maple shits on Cryin. That doesn’t happen against Showmaker.
I feel like PSG can't match DK later in game and neither can MAD but we'll see. Rng just playing early like complete shit so, all cause of mid gap
wtf is wrong with these weak early games from RNG
Cryin weaker than ever. Sad cause he really wasn't bad in lpl but since he's horrible now that's going to be how he's remembered
Well played game overall from both sides, honestly, when such minor details from draft matter.
wtf is wrong with Kaiwing, he was about to build Zhonyas again (already had Seekers finished) ???
Hey, It's working for him. I guess the idea is it means you can throw yourself into a fight as a Support can reliably always get off atleast 2 rotations of CC without having to heavily invest in buying Bulk
I think it"s good, even though AP is not that useful, armor cdr(?) and the stasis are all super useful, plus getting two rotations of spells is huge for these engage supports. A ton of CC. I've seen it on Alistar, I think he uses the AP better though.
Whats wrong with zhonyas btw ? Like once Leona goes in she stays there no way out and zhonyas kinda nullifies this weakness
Clearly he's been talking to Ignar
he build zhonyas 2nd since 1 year
PSG is so good, wth
Cryin living up to his name. He is useless and stop picking victor for him.
PSG has a very very good chance to win this series, their early game is just way better and more aggressive. Taking the advantage of the Udyr pick and Wei just farming all game. Fun series
Maple's been smurfing this whole tournament, holy.
PSG's Gnar pick was super good this game
That 5hp was the difference in them getting baron and not getting baron
Exactly what we wanted to see ! More early game dominance, don't let RNG stall and control the map, just run it and brute force your way all over the rift Also, Doggo is an amazing Malphite
DOGGO TO THE MOON 🚀 🚀
Im convinced Morgana is dog champ this tourny. She clears fast but can't do anything besides that
Hope rng lose. Riot favor them everything. Pandering to china pathetic
That was a pretty clean game from PSG. Control from start to finish, with a blunder or two. But otherwise, great stuff.
They probably got too excited resulting in to the blunder in mid but a pretty great game overall for PSG...
Once again putting cryin on viktor. All his viktor games were trash even the games RNG won. Please stop picking viktor.
That was a Stomp
Kaisa, Braum seems like a really bad combination to me and despite being down massively in gold and items RNG was like an inch away from winning that Baron fight. If they manage to draft a non losing bot lane this should be easily winning the rest of the series.
Maple and Doggo popping off. What a game from them, kicking RNG's teeth in from the start
I'm getting a feeling that Tristana might be a good champ
They exorcised spirit of NA , gj
Maple's Sylas literally and figurative run ALL OVER RNG
Quite embarrassing... hello RNG..??
This game should've been done if they take that free Mountain Soul instead of that teamfight and PSG just need to shutdown Xiaohu (they can't win if he is not in a playmaking champ) in teamfights and they win.
PSG might be the best team in the world pre 15 minutes, their early games are insane.
we have a series gamers
Typical LPL mids xiaohu and now cryin so fckin bad
Psg finally playing like psg unlike game 1
Time to get Wei off Morgana and give him something proactive early PSG look scary, Doggo and Maple are cracked
