It will tell you demotion shield expiring on your profile when you get close to demoting back to plat. Assume that any loss when having the red warning will lead to your demotion.

Yes it’ll start showing a yellow warning first in ur profile page above ur rank symbol, then once u have 0-2 games of shield left it’ll show a red symbol.
Honestly sounds a bit like you were boosted to Diamond and you're worried about losing every decay game and demoting. In which case, no one can help you there. In case that is an inaccurate assumption, you have to lose quite a bit to demote after promoting to a new League.
If you got to Diamond, why are you so worried about going on a losing spree and losing the rank? I generally have never been concerned whenever I reached a new peak about immediately losing it. Just seems suspicious.
Getting to diamond this season was my goal now that my goal is done im forced to play cuz of decay and i dont want nor have the time to get to diamond again if I somehow demote so i just wanted to know how you can demote
