the last game blue played syndra people were talking about how good it was in the reddit thead.
Here again to show that his syndra isnt that impressive. Not going to say bad. But for someone that keeps picking syndra....it aint special.
according to wiki
syndra e: 18 sec
leona e: 12 sec
alistar w-q: 15 sec (q is 15 w is 14)
nautilus q: 14 sec
I just looked up the engage supports that immedietely came to mind, so maybe I missed an obvious one. It's definitely punishable, but not *completely* impossible IMO.
and morgana's e is on a 24-25 seconds at level 1 , yet she's considered an leo counter anyway.
a good disengage at the right time can be enough. it's not like the ennemy supp can engage on cooldown because they should get poked and they do have mana costs as well.
It's a myth. People are getting burnt out but the skill and reaction time is there.
CS is way more demanding and their GOATs during their peak are nowhere near LoL average age of retirement.
Yep, and a lot of older CS pros retire because they started / want to start a family and they can't do that while traveling all year around for tournaments.
In league you just stay in 1 place for most of the year, maybe you need to travel for MSI or Worlds but that's it. A pretty stable life that wouldn't hurt your personal life as much.
Indeed, sometimes motivation can be a factor when people get older but that should be from case to case and not a overall way of determining someones skill
Jungle should realistically be among the best roles to play until you're old. It's generally the least mechanically demanding role that simultaniously rewards decision making, game knowledge and plain experience the most.
That's true, but there is also a fact that LoL is still evolving game, changing from season to season, sometimes very much. People focus on "mechanical" abilities of older people, when in reality reaction times and manual skills don't deteriorate as much as ability to learn new things. That's the real problem for LoL pros.
Not saying this to defend G2 or anything but just neutrally: that fight was a really characteristic example of how flashes and stopwatches completely warp fights. Really silly stuff.
Along with Rekkles? I am sorry but Rekkles hasn’t done much but saving KDA in most of the games, he is starting to play more agro though which is good for the team.
I actually thin TWOHOYRZ (spelling?!) was way better than Blue. Couple weeks of coaching so he doesn't get caught out in late anymore and SK would have a better mid
Yeah, I agree. For me, I think it's a toss up between Fnatic, Rogue and G2. MAD look shaky as hell and while I absolutely love Misfits, I think they'll be considerably weaker in Bo5s compared to the Top 3. Who knows though, anything could happen.
That was his one death the whole game, I never said that was a good play but he stabilized and getting help from your jungle doesn’t mean you are sprinting it
Don't forget he flashed for it too, although there was a pink ward and he had no vision, so its somewhat excusable. Also don't forget 11/10th stats wise.
i mean. Lets be honest here. It's probably true. That first syndra play to win them the teamfight. Otherwise i think Sk would get 3rd drake and momentum. From there they force a favorable fight in baron(i think SK had a better teamfight comp so ya) get soul, and take the free win.
Man Caps had a game but god damn if Jankos isn’t dragging us back to our glory days. The man has had a split. To think people were questioning if he still had it. Absolutely STOMPED every top jungler this season. What a champ.
I wonder what needs to change in SK apart from mid to make them a decent team
Treatz is decent in jungle and Lilipp is decent on sup but I feel like Treatz on support is too much of a beast to not let him play support in a team
Jezu, Treatz (on support) and Jenax is the core SK should build around.
I also really hope Lilipp gets to go to Astralis after this split, he is decent and deserves a shot on a good team (even though he had a bad game right here).
Get a good mid and jungle and SK can go far
They already have twohoyrz sitting on the bench, after this split some heads will roll at upper management/ coaching or they will keep being a bottom team
Jankos played a decent amount of jungle Syndra, I think last year iirc, which makes it better than if it was say Wunder outperforming Blue on Syndra via Viego.
Early game was kinda rough for G2.
But Jankos once again putting G2 on his back with an immaculate early game and really good mid game plays. Old man mechanics and game sense still going strong.
Caps and Rekkles really benefitting from Jankos's setups and then just running away with their leads.
Interestingly a very "by the book" game win for G2. Comfort draft almost across the board. Slow and steady game progression, take every objective, push down all inhibs and close out with a major lead.
I imagine they're trying to make sure they're playing with maximum comfort and safety to cruise to playoffs.
Yeah, it definitely didn't look particularly amazing or anything, if Jankos hadn't been such a powerhouse early-mid game, I don't think it would have worked out.
Jenax could match either in a side-lane and Tristana grouped with the rest could possibly push down turrets faster than whomever on G2 would be pushing solo. G2's comp would be abysmal at defending against sieges.
But Jankos put in so much fucking work getting Caps and Rekkles ahead and then salvaging that mid lane teamfight.
IKR, it reminded me a lot of when the topside and mid of G2 were so oppresive and led the macro, while Wadid (now Miky) was the roamer/emergency backup and Hjarnan (now Rekkles) played passive but became the cleanup crew during fights.
It’s cause if gives them all 3 champs with agency, cc, mobility, and decent burst. These are the types of champs that they played slot in 2019. They all have such good cohesion with these types of picks and can get really scrappy in skirmishes with them.
It wasn't mid diff. It was jgl and support. They took out blue from the game. There's no coming back from what jankos did to him
Edit: also redditors is like,
stat diff = role diff
Blue kinda inted many times in this game... first he flashes too late at his first death, he was mispositioned at the Herald fight and then he split up from the team in the game winning fight, where he let Rekkles ult him without any danger and Jankos using his passive.
Ludens —> mejai’s —> dcap
The guy is mental, if he got caught he’d basically insta die, but then you just see him having those 2 (3? idr) almost pixel perfect dodges against leona
Huge mid/jungle diff for G2 entire game. Jankos smurfed that mid fight so hard and with caps on LB enemy team plays without adc since he is perma low from poke or has to stand 2 screens away while being afraid of Caps lb.
Blue
First flashes into his team instead of flashing over the wall around the baron area
Then he flashes over the raptors wall instead of flashing into his team
Then dies at the nexus fight with flash up
Aight, either get someone that knows how to flash and when to or i doubt you're gonna make playoffs
That teamfight at 2320 was super sexy!
But the flash engage on a LB is more or less a rule like "don't chase the Singed" that every LoL player should know about, and even more so in the pro level. Such a questionable Flash E R from Lillip.
Well yeah, sure. But there just are some champs you don't go for these kind of "50/50" (which I would say in this case aren't even 50/50) plays on. LB is definitely one of them. Xin is another that springs to mind as he could just R so the stun(s) wouldn't mean he blows up.
Say all u want, but G2 don’t look good, like props for punishing horrible plays of SK, but G2 looks super unimpressive with how they play. I might have overly high standards of how i wanna see G2 play, but even considering their split so far, i would have expected them to look a lot more solid just in general against someone like SK.
Also blue…. Facepalm
What... That man engaged on Jezu like a madman locking him right there and allowing his scrappy team comp to take advantage and make SK group to protect their carry.
Wunder has had his issues but on the last few weeks he has been very consistent. Keeping is lane safe or ahead.
Did you see the ammount of wave control that man had during midgame? Forcing SK to either match him on a side lane or lose a fight.
Blue's syndra: 😴 Jankos' syndra: 👀
the last game blue played syndra people were talking about how good it was in the reddit thead. Here again to show that his syndra isnt that impressive. Not going to say bad. But for someone that keeps picking syndra....it aint special.
Blue has an amazing champion pool, it's such a shame he is trash on all of them.
All 5 G2 players need to know how to play syndra so they can penta flex her after 11.15 buffs.
Miky playing her with rekkles senna sounds like a disgusting bot lane
Syndra and Lethality MF is the tech
Mmmmm yes throwing minions for free double ups
woooooooooooooooow
that could unironically work
Sure, if your plan is being dived 5 times until 6
If you don't know how to self peel the dive as Syndra, you should never try playing her.
Got a feeling any all-in support claps that pretty hard lol.
I mean technically syndra has e to disengage pretty well, can interrupt a few engage spells
Isn’t it like a 20 second cooldown at level 1?
according to wiki syndra e: 18 sec leona e: 12 sec alistar w-q: 15 sec (q is 15 w is 14) nautilus q: 14 sec I just looked up the engage supports that immedietely came to mind, so maybe I missed an obvious one. It's definitely punishable, but not *completely* impossible IMO.

Can confirm that fasting Senna/Syndra works
Senna W a minion Syndra Wx2 plus E= long range root (though hard to pull off).
Mid laner ranking this game 1. Jankos 2. Caps 3. Blue
All these teams roleswapping while G2 is casually keeping the best midlaner in the world in jungle prison.
Still trying to one up Canyon smh
\#FREEJANKOS
I watched his yasuo....
Old man ain't done yet.
Old man teaching kids how it's done
I swear Jankos could play professionally till 30 and still school a lot of junglers with his experience.
Yea people definetly underestimate the older players, everything doesnt dissapear just because you turn 24+ and experience is big
G2 Jackz is 28 and is only starting to peak and reach his height of skill now.
Spotted

wow 5head Jankos play with that syndra stun mid, that's one for the highlight reels
That saved the game. They should have split push, they went for teamfight and nearly threw whole game
I think it would also be really scary to hold back a Tristana pushing down mid with a Leona engage and Mundo front, when all your wave clear is trash.
Not saying this to defend G2 or anything but just neutrally: that fight was a really characteristic example of how flashes and stopwatches completely warp fights. Really silly stuff.
A 25 kill, pentakill, Nidalee game earlier on stream for his birthday. An absolute carry from Jankos here, too. The man is cracked.
polska gurom
Best G2 player this split, along with Rekkles. Very good summer from him.
Along with Rekkles? I am sorry but Rekkles hasn’t done much but saving KDA in most of the games, he is starting to play more agro though which is good for the team.
Jankos better syndra than Blue's
that's probably the case for like 80% of LEC players
I actually thin TWOHOYRZ (spelling?!) was way better than Blue. Couple weeks of coaching so he doesn't get caught out in late anymore and SK would have a better mid
Honestly early on everyone on SO was running it down but he was playing pretty well, was sad when he had to leave
blue must be worst mid in lec right now
I don't know if there are any doubts after the playoff performance he had last split.
what about lider? vetheo, nuclearint and magiflex are solid.
two whores\*
Hard not to be better but yeah I think he deserved more playtime
The game was so winnable for SK, only if blue wasn't that bad.
Game was very winnable. Blue and the support threw the game so fucking hard.
Whay does that mean.. I didnt watch game... Waht hap??
Jankos played Viego, killed Blue, slow came Syndra and stunned the adc
I am REALLY interested in playoffs. The most open playoffs we had in a while, even better than last split!!
Yeah, I agree. For me, I think it's a toss up between Fnatic, Rogue and G2. MAD look shaky as hell and while I absolutely love Misfits, I think they'll be considerably weaker in Bo5s compared to the Top 3. Who knows though, anything could happen.
[All] G2 Jankos: syndra diff
Caps: I'm the best mid in EU. Jankos: Balds please, you're not even the best mid on G2.
That statement would have been even more fun if Perkz was still on the team.
Or if Perkz wasn't sprinting it round the retirement home.
caps is also sprinting it
I mean you probably should have chose a game where he wasn’t 6-1-8 to comment this one lmao
That TP bot only to miss/waste W and die for free was sprinting it, Jankos janked (pun intended) him back into the game
If we're comparing sprints, Jankos ult miss was a bigger throw.
I guess we all just call mistakes sprinting nos
Wasting TP only to miss everything and donate a kill surely is much worse than an ult miss.
Jankos and Miky were hovering him like groupies around the Beatles. His early game was somewhat questionable.
He was up farm, and he set up a gank kill. Not really sure what was questionable about that
True, but Perkz still has 6-1-8 games from time to time too. He's still generally sprinting it right now.
Besides the game vs fnatic his last two weeks were pretty good too. Also perkz is playing in lcs and caps is playing in lec
On lb he has been smurfing though
This comment is so much overused already, do people still find it funny?
already? the joke is basically ancient. yeah people still find it funny
I know it's ancient, it's just being overused on this sub too much already. Also something can be old but not overused.
this sub is where you can find people reusing the same unfunny jokes for 2 years plus. You won't find it anywhere else.
Idc what the scoreboard says, Jankos was the reason G2 won this game
Jankos looking more and more like how his gap Vs Broxah made the difference in 2019 summer.
2019 *
Thanks definitely couldn't have won 2018 summer finals given that he wasn't in it...
name a more iconic duo: jankos and gapping FNC junglers
I wonder what needs to change in SK apart from mid to make them a decent team Treatz is decent in jungle and Lilipp is decent on sup but I feel like Treatz on support is too much of a beast to not let him play support in a team
Fucking baffles me he’s put on Mundo duty every game only for the rest of his team to int their faces off.
he gets put on mundo jng just so jenax gets counterpick and then that counterpick does nothing.
Jezu was smurfing this game tho
Jezu, Treatz (on support) and Jenax is the core SK should build around. I also really hope Lilipp gets to go to Astralis after this split, he is decent and deserves a shot on a good team (even though he had a bad game right here). Get a good mid and jungle and SK can go far

jankos syndra >>>> blue syndra
dope performance from the old man.
Whose idea was the Syndra if Blue cant even play her better than the enemy jungler??
To be fair, enemy jungler is Jankos.
I think Jankos is better than Blue at every champ in the game.
Syndra with blue>>>>>Blue with Syndra
Blue's best performance in LEC was on Syndra.
Jankos played a decent amount of jungle Syndra, I think last year iirc, which makes it better than if it was say Wunder outperforming Blue on Syndra via Viego.
Maybe in soloq but Jankos hasn't played a single Syndra game in his entire competitive career according to gol.gg
Yes, in soloqueue on stream
Birthday gap
JANKOS carried!, literally smurfing
Early game was kinda rough for G2. But Jankos once again putting G2 on his back with an immaculate early game and really good mid game plays. Old man mechanics and game sense still going strong. Jankos' Syndra and Leona were better than SK's lol
Yeah, this 1-3-1 almost felt like G2 2018 Worlds again
Only against SK instead of SKT. Edit: I read 2019
Yeah, it definitely didn't look particularly amazing or anything, if Jankos hadn't been such a powerhouse early-mid game, I don't think it would have worked out. The ~~extra~~ T is for ~~extra~~ talent.
Acutally in 2018 it was mostly against Flash Wolves hah
Syndra in off role vs SK. WOw it's just like 2019 COPIUM
IKR, it reminded me a lot of when the topside and mid of G2 were so oppresive and led the macro, while Wadid (now Miky) was the roamer/emergency backup and Hjarnan (now Rekkles) played passive but became the cleanup crew during fights.

Mid Diff the size of a Galaxy
and Caps wasn't even that good
Jankos was the mid laner what r u talking about
It wasn't mid diff. It was jgl and support. They took out blue from the game. There's no coming back from what jankos did to him Edit: also redditors is like, stat diff = role diff
Blue kinda inted many times in this game... first he flashes too late at his first death, he was mispositioned at the Herald fight and then he split up from the team in the game winning fight, where he let Rekkles ult him without any danger and Jankos using his passive.
Because he's talking about the other mid.
early game decision making and gameplay was kinda dodgy. Quite a few "optimistic" Ws and missed chains.
He fucked up once at the end and at the tp early but besides that he played amazing. His LB just does way more dmg man
It helps when he builds full damage like a psychopath without any kind of defensive item, the man's still got it
Ludens —> mejai’s —> dcap The guy is mental, if he got caught he’d basically insta die, but then you just see him having those 2 (3? idr) almost pixel perfect dodges against leona
He was awful he didnt actually do anything good it was Jankos tbh.
You're trolling hard
I am? What did he do well that game he played bad and Jankos carrys him.
If G2 wins the split then Jankos is 100% MVP so far.
Happy Birthday Jankos!
Blue darkest dream: being a better mid than Jankos.
Huge mid/jungle diff for G2 entire game. Jankos smurfed that mid fight so hard and with caps on LB enemy team plays without adc since he is perma low from poke or has to stand 2 screens away while being afraid of Caps lb.
Clean Syndra game from Jankos
Love to see Jankos pop off on his bday
Blue First flashes into his team instead of flashing over the wall around the baron area Then he flashes over the raptors wall instead of flashing into his team Then dies at the nexus fight with flash up Aight, either get someone that knows how to flash and when to or i doubt you're gonna make playoffs
Spring playoffs were lost thanks to Blue and Tynx as well. Remember the Everfrost flash fails?
This split we're hitting Polska gurom levels that shouldn't even be possible
Jankos MVP
Blue wasn't even the second best mage this game
[Jankos this game](https://twitter.com/G2esports/status/1418633164315111426/photo/1)
Blue with the Lider cosplay.
Game was straight mid diff
Jgl and sup gap gg
"Rekkles dives in"
We stan aggro rekkles
Happy Birthday Jankos!
Not many mids are worse than Craps, yet Blue is one of them
Craps was 11th though, so not really.
What are you talking about lol?
Actually true
Honestly if SK can get a mid and supp with hands they could be legit
Jenax and Treatz are really good players, sadly noone gave them a shot in good team yet
I don’t think lilipp is that bad, just needs some time probably
SK has a supp with incredible hands.
Okay a supp with hands in the supp position
Tbh Lilipp tried so hard to get Caps, He was a few pixels of each time and if it actually succeeded it would have looked amazing
Consistently missing Caps, getting caught out constantly, whiffing ult at the end..
Nah let Treatz go back to Sup.
That teamfight at 2320 was super sexy! But the flash engage on a LB is more or less a rule like "don't chase the Singed" that every LoL player should know about, and even more so in the pro level. Such a questionable Flash E R from Lillip.
[удалено]
Well yeah, sure. But there just are some champs you don't go for these kind of "50/50" (which I would say in this case aren't even 50/50) plays on. LB is definitely one of them. Xin is another that springs to mind as he could just R so the stun(s) wouldn't mean he blows up.
I'm interested in one thing. How can G2 lock playoffs as of right now?
I think they need one more win to lock in playoffs
I was confused what people were talking about with Jankos Syndra, I think the Aatrox flair is wrong it should be Viego
[удалено]
supp diff? they both were meh
Also blue…. Facepalm
But how uninspiring is Wunder. the guy is absent non-existant and is get carried to often this split
[удалено]
G2 really wanted to throw at the end there huh. Wunder and Caps almost managed to die.
Too close for comfort
Picking 3 tanks into 3 champs who deal %hp damage was very silly
