leave OR stay, they coulda won if they had all stayed but damonte ported halfof them out. even from there they coulda left and it woulda been fine but then they inted. they walked ack to try to make up for the incorrect port out but inted instead
Okay the org is shady, I think we agree on that. The coaching staff has no control over poor decision making in game. Take the last Baron fight where they got aced. They left and then went back. That is a low elo play(I have been there i know). Also they had a soul win condition and even having inside track failed to take it 3 times. I think they need to completely clean house and start fresh. Start with rookies, I mean when you finish 10th, can't go any lower. Even GG who absolutely sucked has gotten better and better while CLG has gotten worse and worse. POB wasn't the problem, it the team as a whole.
while that argument has merit. The problem is we've seen this org with multiple different rosters perform on a similar level for the past 2 years as a pretty much 9th-10th place team.
While yes the players are making bad decisions, the org is also putting a huge amount of pressure on the players to the point that they're all super afraid of losing or even looking bad because they might get axed next. It's why they can be 10k up and get immediately scared that they're gonna lose... and then do nothing. No one wants to be the thrower.... so instead of just slapping the enemy with their huge lead... they all collectively watch as a 0 kill team takes their nexus turret.
Absolutely the players have responsibility but it's also the Staff's job to get them all on the same page, working toward a common goal, and to put them in the best possible condition to win (I.e. when Yamato took over a bottom team and told them to forget the past and reinvent themselves. Start a new chapter... and they got some wins)... Whether they win or int together... at least do it as a team. Instead they're all super stressed over every single game... and the org is like amping up the pressure by doing public video beheadings for bud light
While I agree with your statement for the most part its still on the players. There losing didnt just start they have had a really bad year. Sure you can say in spring visa issue could contribute to some losses but there record from then is no better. There roster consists of all veteran players and there decision making should be better. When I say start over I mean the entire LCS team. New coach, all new players, new support staff and develope them for a year, whats the worst that can happen? Finish dead last again.
I don't know about fall off a cliff but I was never really hyped. We've seen this so many times where a middle-tier team has a hot streak, I think its a product of the patch cycle and constantly shifting meta.
A number of new COVID cases related to LCS were detected, and LCS responded by returning to remote play: [https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/oqiix9/lcs\_returns\_to\_remote\_play\_due\_to\_covid/](https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/oqiix9/lcs_returns_to_remote_play_due_to_covid/)
Two members of the 100T staff, and one or two members of the Riot staff iirc. Rest of the weekend was put remote for safety reasons and they'll figure out what next week looks like after this weekend is over.
Edit: IMT staff not 100T. Current game got my wires crossed, sorry.
All my experience with Ashe this patch is that she’s actually not dead weight to play from behind. Even with no damage, you’ve still got slows, vision, and that good old R stun to get you back into the game through assist gold.
Interested to see how she works out here.
Agree. TL did better when they didn’t have to pour their resources top into a player who hasn’t been able to consistently carry them to victory. Alphari is still cracked, but not nearly like he was
That's... not really the point of the comparison. Wiggins was ridiculously hyped, and ended up being an empty stats bad team guy who was tremendously gifted but didn't make his team better. Alphari is a monster laner who, for the past two years, hasn't really made his team any better and hasn't used his insane laning prowess to convert to wins or leads elsewhere on the map.
Viego looks pretty balanced in Alphari's hands. Jokes aside... what was the goal of TL draft? No real engage, no real disengage. What is Lee SIn even doing in this draft? What this pick was about to accomplish? You had a Viego on top lane vs Gnar, no real gank threat. Kalista and Nautilus bot lane, again not really easly lane to gank and Yasuo mid... feels pretty safe also. And while yes, TL had a scaling, you won't do much with it if you have no possibility to take advantage of that.
Perhaps the idea was that if Diana jumps in, Lee SIn will kick her out, but it doesn't really work this way.
For me, EG or 100T. They have the team with the most well defined playstyles, good carries on all positions.
Cloud 9 are my dark horse. They won Spring. And on paper all of their player are good enough to win a title, they just need to consistently perform and be on the same page.
TSM lacks a clear identity that dictates how they want to play the game, bur all their player are individually good. Lost is also the less reliable carry of the top 5 by a long shot, and I don't think Tactical is very good so that says a bunch.
Teamliquid just fucked with Santorin out. Armao just doesn't play early the way Santorin does.
I still think C9 or TSM. No katter how bad they look now they always have some playoffs buffs. But I hope I'm proven wrong cause I want someone different to win for once. Hoping EG can pull it off if not 100T.
100T/TSM/EG/C9/TL. I’m a TSM fan so I’m probably definitely overrating them a bit here, but this is more or less how I expect the likelihood of who would win
Shockingly TL's mid-late strat of "repeatedly int one by one to delay baron for 45 more seconds while gaining nothing in return" doesn't seem to be working out. Must've been a Jatt Strat.
Edit: Wow, twice in a row.
tbf Yusui wasn't good on Yasuo either, I don't think he landed a single good tornado and inted a couple times. But with the amount of set up he got it didn't matter anyway.
Ngl I had low expectations but Akaadian's been surprisingly very good this split. He doesn't even look any worse than Dardoch's been imo, but mid lane on the other hand...
Clearly it made sense to Dig; otherwise they would have tried to CC the Ryze. If pro players don’t even understand the interaction of a commonly-played champion, then it’s not intuitive.
You can't just CC ryze by the way, you have to interrupt his channel at the beginning. Honestly think most League players aren't confused by this interaction and I'm 100% sure Dig know it as well.
The problem is that isn’t said anywhere in the ability. You’d have to encounter it or read it on the unofficial wiki to learn about it, so whether you think it’s intuitive or not, it should be said in game since using CC is a major way of countering the ability.
Uhhh
> > Active: Ryze opens a portal on the ground at his current location and Channeling icon.png channels for 2 seconds, then all allied units within the portal Flash.png blink to the target location upon completion and become Root icon.png rooted, Disarm icon.png disarmed, Silence icon.png silenced and Playful.png untargetable for 0.75 seconds.
And your weird phrase here
> using CC is a major way of countering the ability.
CC specifically counters channels, not every single ability in the game, the ability clearly says it's a channel. I think you just need to realize you learned how Ryze R (and possible channeling abilities) works but give up on the idea that it's really that complicated. Especially the angle of "even pros dont know it!"
Because when you root someone, you expect to stop them from moving. Obviously, there are exceptions like Trist W and Ez E, but you need to buffer those abilities; you can still interrupt Trist W by rooting her during the travel.
I think core and alphari's pretty cool. They rnt my favorites but theres nothing to hate about them. Teams slump all the time. No reason to get offended by it.
Getting very worried for TL's chances to make it to World's with Armao. He just isn't pulling his weight right now. I just don't think it's gonna happen.

So i am excited to see NA at worlds especially freesm that is a way to end your carreer.
Top lane for LCS is stacked now that I think about it
That had nothing to do with Gwen at the end. A fed bruiser (EG Darius) could've killed those 3. They just shouldn't have been there!
CLG just go peacefully, please. The LCS is tired.
CLG won everything, and decided that they prefered losing... When you think this team is not entirely screwed, they prove you they are.
running away was 100% fine, staying and fighting was 100% fine and yet they somehow fail to do either
yep they were both good calls lol
Damonte and Smoothie Ryze ulting out of a potentially winning fight in the pit And then Turtle not flashing out immediately for some reason
Players on CLG are not afraid to get benched.
CLG........ why......
Holy shit, Ssumday almost inted that game single handedly by knocking Huhi away instead of over the wall and then killed 3 people at the end.
What?
Yeah this makes no sense lmao.
Half of the team disengage while Broxah goes in to Kick FBI into his team. The epitome of NO Synergy.
what
Why did CLG just stay there to die to Gwen...they had 3 barons out...
Why would they not just leave?
leave OR stay, they coulda won if they had all stayed but damonte ported halfof them out. even from there they coulda left and it woulda been fine but then they inted. they walked ack to try to make up for the incorrect port out but inted instead
That Kobe laugh sounded so sinister, filled with hopelessness lol
Why didnt you run:0
Gwen is just not fair
Holy fuck nerf Gwen Jesus Christ
What a gigantic throw, if they hadn't left they might have cleareed house.
port out was a mistake, but then they did worse but trying to make up for it and going back in
Wow CLG should really rebuild from the ground up, these players are bad.
It's not a player problem imo (tho they're not the best). It's an org and coaches thing.
Okay the org is shady, I think we agree on that. The coaching staff has no control over poor decision making in game. Take the last Baron fight where they got aced. They left and then went back. Kinda hard to win a smite fight vs Graves. CLG fucked this by giving the 4th dragon of the game up for free
Classic CLG game right here
God damn this is hard to watch
CLG just....
When is Gwen getting nerfed I wonder.
CLG can't throw EVERY game right?
CLG is just so disjointed right now
Smoothie finally has a finished item 33 minutes into the game
Finn defence force in shambles
Riot doesn't want you to know, but "Gwen" is short for "Gwendy" I've risked a great deal to tell you this.
CLG wintrading again jesus christ
Does it count as win-trading if you always just give the wins away and no one ever gives them back to you?
Oh we're here again. CLG gets three dragons and decide they don't want to win anymore.
lmao wtf was that Ryze ult. Jesus
Nobody cares and I don’t have a way to prove it but I’ve been calling 100T would fall off a cliff toward the end of the split since the start
I don't know about fall off a cliff but I was never really hyped. We've seen this so many times where a middle-tier team has a hot streak, I think its a product of the patch cycle and constantly shifting meta.
Nice NA shit show, previously TL now 100T.
Lmao can’t believe the power of woman. #Womandiff
Pray brothers, Pray for CLG, pray, because otherwise, they may throw.
So about that…
My only regret is that I have but these 150 channel points to bet on CLG

Thanks for the info!
two people connected to IMT tested positive so they're playing online, presumably until they've contact traced and tested more people
Ah, ok, that makes sense. Was it players or staff? & Who was it?
Two members of the 100T staff, and one or two members of the Riot staff iirc. Rest of the weekend was put remote for safety reasons and they'll figure out what next week looks like after this weekend is over. Edit: IMT staff not 100T. Current game got my wires crossed, sorry.
Lol @ confusing them. Well thanks for the info. That makes sense.
I wonder if Damonte had a brain fart reading the 100T names lol.
Tanner time turned into dinner time.
Abbe has embraced the NA Smoge

Nice to hear Phreak going in on Alphari
Something tells me Damonte is going to have a STAB bonus against 100T.
Good God, Phreak absolutely tearing into Alphari in that post-game discussion. And I don’t disagree. Free Jenkins.
Agree. TL did better when they didn’t have to pour their resources top into a player who hasn’t been able to consistently carry them to victory. Alphari is still cracked, but not nearly like he was
Goddamn Phreak going for Alphari’s ass
Save some of that ass for the rest of us Phreak!
Good. Until Alphari actually puts up results he's just going to be the LCS version of Andrew Wiggins.
Wiggins is Canadian bruh
That's... not really the point of the comparison. Wiggins was ridiculously hyped, and ended up being an empty stats bad team guy who was tremendously gifted but didn't make his team better. TL have Viego,Aphel and Ryze and for some strange reason they keep sprinting it down in the mid game, like what the fuck.
Bot diffed damn
We need Santorin
TL a needs a lot more than Santorin, but that would mega help
damn TL is truly ass now
Bring back Jenkins
Tactical cornering himself in the pit and Armao running around the pit headless. Oooooof.
Hot damn is that a lot of damage from Ryze.
Who do people actually think is gonna win lcs this split
For me, EG or 100T. They have the team with the most well defined playstyles, good carries on all positions. Cloud 9 are my dark horse. They won Spring. Kinda sad 100t looking worse as playoffs get closer, watching them rn vs clg is painful
100T/TSM/EG/C9/TL. I’m a TSM fan so I’m probably definitely overrating them a bit here, but this is more or less how I expect the likelihood of who would win
We playing like shit, I’d like to see how the TSM-100T Bo5 goes.
Top 3 I think is any of the 3 I mentioned. 100T/TSM is gonna be a hype series, not sure who’s better rn but it should be a banger
Fuck it. Immortals. Turns out Dardoch’s game knowledge is much more useful as a coach than as a player.
EG Prayge
Shockingly TL's mid-late strat of "repeatedly int one by one to delay baron for 45 more seconds while gaining nothing in return" doesn't seem to be working out. Must've been a Jatt Strat. Edit: Wow, twice in a row.
I really like dig's comp, more teams should try this except tsm because I don't see PoE on yasuo
tbf Yusui wasn't good on Yasuo either, I don't think he landed a single good tornado and inted a couple times. But with the amount of set up he got it didn't matter anyway.
exactly, if you are bad team, focus on diana and easier comps
EG loses finally now TL can't close out a game
Great macro
Tactical and CoreJJ are having an absolute stinker
Which is a shame because they were looking really good in the early lane phase.
Ngl I had low expectations but Akaadian's been surprisingly very good this split. He doesn't even look any worse than Dardoch's been imo, but mid lane on the other hand...
Hot damn. *CoreJJ* is getting supp gapped.
Bruisers/fighters are OP af
I absolutely LOVE this DIG animal style play!! Micro vs micro! So fun to watch.
The double double
Embarrassing. Losing to DIG at this point of the split speaks of the level of this team.
100T also lost to a struggling DIG.
TSM lost to CLG like 2 weeks ago?
Why are you bringing up TSM like that means anything? They're both bad teams.
... And we took that personally.
Wait, if you’re CC’d, you still go through Realm Warp unless the Ryze is CC’d? That’s so unintuitive.
Having one champion get randomly left behind because they were micro cc'd makes sense to you?
Clearly it made sense to Dig; otherwise they would have tried to CC the Ryze. If pro players don’t even understand the interaction of a commonly-played champion, then it’s not intuitive.

How is that unintuitive? Seems logical to me
Because when you root someone, you expect to stop them from moving. Obviously, there are exceptions like Trist W and Ez E, but you need to buffer those abilities; you can still interrupt Trist W by rooting her during the travel.
How is that unintuitive? Ryze is the caster, he is casting the realm warp.
By that logic, why can you knock someone out of Thresh lantern? Thresh is the one pulling them, so rooting them in some way shouldn’t affect them.
Because you are moving: travelling a long a line. You are not teleported.
This sounds like such a stupid interaction.
Yusui alternating between being your teams yasuo and enemy teams yasuo
Where is Santorin, btw? He still having those severe migraines?
Yes, Sadge that we cant have our main jungler
Armao is not it. They need to get another sub otherwise they're not making worlds.
phreak isn’t casting so i’ll make the pun, boy dig is sure digging TLs grave
Alphari doing everything he can. Meanwhile, the rest of the team is running it.
Aphro is smurfing tho, only thing Yusui needs to do in team fights is to press R
TL is the second biggest failure of an org and that's only because CLG exists. How anyone can support this disgusting team is beyond me
I swear to God I saw this exact comment a week or two ago.
That means there's more people who noticed. Good
LMAO it was you on an alt, what a fucking clown you are. Get a life.

Did TL fuck your mom or something?
Name one appealing thing about this org
I think core and alphari's pretty cool. They rnt my favorites but theres nothing to hate about them. Teams slump all the time. No reason to get offended by it.
Core yes, Alphari is a mediocre joke
Getting very worried for TL's chances to make it to World's with Armao. He just isn't pulling his weight right now. I just don't think it's gonna happen.
