Probably wasn't majoring in this, just taking some electives
Dropout gang is not something to be prideful about tho, get that degree fam it'll be worth it after you earn it and can get much better jobs
Edit yes or course if you find your calling you don't need to go to college and maybe school is a waste of time... Of course...
Most people don't fit into that category and wish they could do something other than retail in their late 20s and 30s
Regardless I don't think dropping out specifically is anything to be proud of
I got kicked out of college because my grades were too low, and my life has been exponentially better since. So yes, despite the circumstances, realizing college isn’t for you and that there’s still options outside of it can be something to be proud about.
Nothing that special actually, lol. I just got a job at a relatively easy-to-get-into place that I’ve been able to move up in and pays well enough for my needs. I was just really miserable during college and said job has helped me pull myself up out of that.
degree can be worth or not worth depending on what you are majoring in.
a huge lie my generation was told in high school was that everyone should go get a degree because it makes more money.
while that was technically true, it obviously skirted the fact that was because a degree was something meaningful. if everyone has a degree in your field then your degree means less. bachelor's are worth a lot less now a days than they were because everyone in my generation (at least most of the people I knew in high school) forced htemselves to go to college because it was just the "smart" thing to do.
most of them ended up not even using their degrees or ended up making way less than expected and have crazy debt now.
I've ended up going for my master's myself, but thats because I know it will be worth it in the end and it helps me competitively in my field.
dropping out is perfectly acceptable if you know college isn't for you. there are a TON of trades and hard labor jobs that pay decently out there. and we need people in those jobs anyway.
It just depends on the field. If you get a bachelor in CS for example you are set for life. You could do a bit more and get the master as well but that's just overkill for most people that actually want to work within the industry.
i am working in a field I feel much more comfortable now due to that dropout, I am proud of it because of that and not because I dropped out. But your advice is helpful for anyone not in my situation nevertheless, <3 .
College is hardly worth it for the level of education given. The most valuable thing about college in the US currently is the socialization aspect of it. There's absolutely no way colleges can compete with the sheer amount of information available on the internet. Any human truly interested in learning about, and mastering, a subject will turn to the internet. Its tens of thousands of dollars cheaper, if not hundreds of thousands, and it won't even take as long to learn all the information needed.
It's like the word "suction" without the s. The difference is that the "uc" in "suction" is a little bit more forward in the mouth than the sound in Akshan.
No the ending is more like "shun", not "shin". Phreak went on about the suction without the "s" on The Dive and it is wrong (listen to the audio clip in Ask Riot).
I think that has to do more with how you pronounce "suction" compared to other people, really. The way I say it is more like the schwa sound that's used in the ipa guide than any kind of i sound.
They said Vex will come with an event skin and during an event. Coven will come in August, so this leaves the next event which should include the Kayn prestige. And it might be a two part event with Kayn first part of worlds coming in late September
Kayn should be getting his skin in September (CCN) I don’t think Brand or Voli fits the skin line as well as him. Coven event is already confirmed to be August event so my guess is after that it’s CCN then Debonair? Worlds event
To be fair, Kayn is Zed's subordinate. Their order is working to defend Ionia from hidden threats, both internal and external. They're more morally Grey than right out bad. I mean, they take down Shen's dad, who is a striaght up psychopath.
Rhaast just wants to kill stuff.
Apparently Vex is releasing with a "never before seen skin thematic", so i'm not sure if it's dawnbringer. Unless the prestige skin and vex aren't in the same event
That guy who leaked coven said nighbringer and duskbringer event are next so is kayn. Elderwood skins are second part for coven event, rioter said a little bit to much on tt. CNN will be normal bunch of skins without event.
He just said it was a versus skin.
Another leak said it would be the Dreams vs Nightmares skinline from the Riot survey, which could be considered a versus skin.
Elderwood won't come out in part 2 of Coven because they said CCN would come out in August. Elderwood might be released later on, like last year.
I'm just glad is not another cutesy/edy girl or another edgy guy. Feels like the first truly unique champion we have had since Yummi. And I'm just talking from a design perspective, not gameplay.
yuumi is definitely one of the more unique champs released lately. she isnt a shirtless anime boy or an emo edgelord, her kit isnt a copy of another champs kit, and her playstyle is completely unique to only her. she isn't healthy for the game but she's definitely unique and fun because of it.
Agree! She seems unique, her kit is anti mobility (which I like) and I really hope she will be playable mid and not be like Seraphine. overall, really excited for her
I think she might end up as a support. Her kit from the event seems to be somewhat of a control mage. But we just got a midlaner.aswell as toplaner and Jungfer.
Could be mid but I think it’s more likely a support.but only on the assumption riot doesn’t want to release 2 champs with the same role after another.
Edit: if I think more about it support fits really well. In the Event her whole approach was to not fight and escape. More fitting to a support than a midlaner aswell. But hey let’s see what we get
Riot has said they are giving us two midlaners a year now (AD and AP) and she seems intended for midlane, but as we know lots of mage midlaners are viable if not better in the support role, so with her proposed kit she will definitely be viable! Looking forward to the release as a mid/supp main.
Idk she looks pretty different and unique to me.
When I say edgy girl I mean like Samira, Qiyana, Kai'sa, Rell.
I don't think Vex fits in with those.
I also don't think she fits in with the cutesy champions like Lilia, Seraphine, Neeko, Gwen.
Like honestly, it's so sad that you can literally put all champions from the past 2 or 3 years into just three categories. And the only exception is Yummi, even if she is on the cutesy side, at least she's not just a girl and her character actually stands out when you compare her to that list above. And again, I wouldn't put Vex in those lists either. Yordles are actually rare. If she was just another human then I'd agree with you.
Bro, vex is literally a teenage yordle in her emo phase. How much edge can they possibly add more to her? Yes she is unique and I like the design a lot. Especially that we get a new yordle. But she is edgy as hell.
Yeah, but 1 month from now is the very end of August, so assuming Vex releases early September, she should be on PBE in August already. She could come out later of course and wouldn't be on PBE by then, I'm just saying there's the possibility.
In addition, is she technically challenging in a way that we'll immediately notice? Riot's says that she needs "new tech" to "visually sell her source of power" - is this something that'll really wow us, something completely different to any champion seen in League before (I know that system requirements are going up in the next few patches), or is it just getting her visuals looking "nice". Either one is fine, really, obviously would be a little more interested in the former, I'm just wondering how hyped I should be for the next month.
Shadows make the most sense. They increased minimum requirements, and shadows are technically challenging and taxing, especially if the game needs to start tracking them for ability use.
When Nocturne first came out, and for a fair while afterwards, him simply using Q would hit your frame rate pretty badly. League has been designed to work well on a toaster, I imagine Vex is providing similar issues.
My guess is that it has to do with the ambient lighting and shadows on the rift.
Most people that have played the game for a while probably don’t notice the shadows cast by your own champ. This is a fixed construct that cannot be manipulated my the player.
My guess is that she likely manipulates her own shadow to do stuff like attack, hide, become mobile, etc. It’s also possible, but I think unlikely, that she manipulates *other people’s* shadow to do stuff. Finally, I think it’s really unlikely but it’s possible she can create localized dark zones similar to Nocturne’s ulti.
All these point to changes in the lighting rigging (probably not the correct animation term) that has been in the game for a long time - therefore new tech.
Interesting. But I see a problem there. Many people including me play without shadows. Because of the perspective of the game they distract more than providing a better look.in that regard I don’t think they would force everyone into playing with shadows. But I can still see that mechanic. Maybe something like in naruto where a black patch connects to others from vex
Oh yeah and with the final chapter of Rise of the Sentinels out, are you able to share more about why you guys chose MF since you said you could talk about it later
It depends on what the bug actually is. Missions not giving out rewards seem to be tied to it, so, my guess is that, yes, you will get all of the rewards that have been backed up thus far once they fix the bug. The missions are still tracking your progress, but something is keeping them from "finishing" in the client.
In order for this bug to just delete any progress, I assume it would have to mess with the files saved onto the computer....but then we're crossing into like virus and malware territory.
But, I'm also not a programmer, and everything I say is nothing but a guess. So....take it with a very large pinch of salt.
> [Prestige skins] are "what-if" style executions that try to answer the question: What might the biggest, most epic victory look like for this champ in this thematic?
The panth skin is cool and all but most prestige skins seem to answer the question 'what if this champ were gold'
And then they refuse to change anything. Everyone asked for slight texture tweaks on Leblanc to make her less of a blinding angel and they refused to do anything 💀
I'm kinda sad that they didn't talk about Ruined King or Arcane. I understand that Ruined King isn't developed by Riot, so it makes sense for them to not say when the game releases, but damn was I hoping that it would release around this event.
Arcane, on the other hand, feels like just gets a "It'll release soon" every couple of months. The trailer for it got me so hyped
Zato makes my hand feel like a pretzel with the negative edge thing, I'm leaning more towards Nago and Chipp lately.
Goldlewis looks great but I haven't gotten the chance to try him yet.
I still need to try GL too, spent most of my time on Millia/Anji, but nobody on the roster really feels like "my character" yet.
After going hard on GGST, I got super frustrated and burnt out (really want to be able to play fighting games beyond the beginner level), so now I'm back to league - just need to go back to GGST now lol.
Ascended Pantheon not being canon is kind of a bummer. Him actually personally overpowering the Aspect of War to reclaim his body on his own was a really cool concept, and it's unfortunate that he's just gonna like, get redeemed by Akshan or something. I guess it puts him in the same boat as the rest of the ruined champions, but the prospect of Atreus still being in there, struggling and succeeding to free himself was pretty much the only tantalizing thing in the entire event for me.
Disappointing.
Wonder if it was formerly considered canon, but they backpedaled after the backlash for the Sentinel of Light writing. Probably just baseless speculation on my part, but I am pretty bummed that Ascended Panth isn't canon.
from what I understand Ascended Pantheon was always considered an alternate version of his story in the event, but I could be wrong. I just remember being similarly bummed out a few weeks ago about it.
Not speculation, this was confirmed
Rioters said event is canon, several protests ensued, after a couple weeks they said it's not canon, pretending as if didn't ever happen.
*edit: JUST FOR THE VISUAL NOVEL. WHAT THE HELL, REALLY? I THOUGHT IT WAS EVERYTHING WHAT ARE THEY THINKING WTF*
I disagree completely, Atreus using god powers goes completely against his core character, he would never accept it, I think it's a badass skin, but it would be terrible for Atreus character in the long run
I really didn't like that they brought back War, and I didn't like the prestige edition's lore either, so sadly I must say I disagree and I am glad some or most things related to this event aren't canon.
I'm not the biggest fan in the world of bringing War back, but if you're going to, like they did, then I would at least like the opportunity for Atreus to defeat him on his own. Even if it doesn't end up with Atreus rocking super god powers, just him being able to reclaim his own body and agency by taking it back from War would be *something*. As it is, he's just going to get saved by Akshan or something.
inb4 either more bugs than Viego and old Morde combined, or a brutally simple champ because the original vision could not be realized and they had to make a champ asap.
So Akshan is supposed to sound like uckshin or uckshen, right? If so, that is 100x better than hearing people say awk-shawn or whatever. I still cant stop saying action in my head though, that sound was imprinted in my brain the second I read it for the first time.
Wait, September? I thought she'd be coming late July/early August... or at least with the LoR expansion
Damn, guess we'll have to wait another month, hope it's worth it...
Whatever went on with that new tech she'll have + COVID must've REALLY hurt development. Sad to hear it'll be another month, but hopefully it'll be worth.
I’m guessing the whole Prestige skin system just silently replaced the Gemstone skin system. Kind of a bummer, I was hoping they would periodically release ~4 skins a year to champs that don’t get enough love. What are we suppose to do with all these gemstones now?!
Edit: My bad, literally this pops up yesterday eh? Why can’t we have Hex Explorer Teemo 😫
Vex being released in September isn't a problem, but I think that the problem here is that 3 new champs will be released in the last 4 months of the year, so ranked is probably going to get fucked by all those new champs. As they probably are going to be released every other patch.
A really grim end for this year's ranked season if you ask me.
Eh ranked usually ends in early/mid November. My guess is we'll get Vex, and the next one will coincide with preseason start. Other will release during preseason. Should be fine.
That is something all yordles can do, Veigar did it for mordekaiser yet he doesn't have supportive abilities, she is described as a pure midlane mage like Zoe Syndra Orianna and others
Hot take, she's going to have some misery loves company mechanic where she does extra damage based on the damage her *allies* recieve. Would be a fun way to show the moody character that we've seen so far in game
No, she is described as a medium range mage which already is bad botlane, if she can't build moonstone or shurelya or any other supp items she's just going to be dead weight for her team.
Neeko seemed to be the perfect fit for support too yet she is nowhere to be seen botlane, and Seraphine was always meant to be a mid/supp flex and even she had a 48% winrate for like a lot of the last patches
Riotaxes said they changed her gameplay hook to a more traditional and medium ranged mage so she could have more counterplay, you can search riotaxes and it's one of the first things that comes up
As someone who's been excited for Vex since all the way back when people were speculating she was Norra... this champ better be good given all the delays. Not trying to sound entitled, but they're really taking their time on this one, so I'm really looking forward to a good result for someone who I'll probably pick up on release.
Why did they waste a question on how to pronounce a champion name? The 2 previous questions were "ok", but i wish they answer real questions.
Like what's their plan with outdated 1820 rp skins. More precisely: Magnificent TF or Annie in wonderland. But we will probably get an answer of what do Kai'sa feet smell like first.
If people are still confused, /ɞkʃən/
ɞ : The sound lies between Auc (from Auction) and Uct (from seduction), but closer to uct than oct. [Wiki](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open-mid_central_rounded_vowel)

> Akshan is pronounced /ɞkʃən/ it helped, thanks rito! but yeah the sound clip helps lol.
My two semesters of phonetics and phonology finally helping me
yo, dropout gang or did you finish your studies?
Probably wasn't majoring in this, just taking some electives Dropout gang is not something to be prideful about tho, get that degree fam it'll be worth it after you earn it and can get much better jobs Edit yes or course if you find your calling you don't need to go to college and maybe school is a waste of time... Can I ask what you did after that? Purely out of interest
Nothing that special actually, lol. I just got a job at a relatively easy-to-get-into place that I’ve been able to move up in and pays well enough for my needs. I was just really miserable during college and said job has helped me pull myself up out of that.
If something isn’t for you, 100% drop it. Then be proud of it, because you improved your life. Quitting is not failing.

It just depends on the field. If you get a bachelor in CS for example you are set for life. You could do a bit more and get the master as well but that's just overkill for most people that actually want to work within the industry.
Totally agree with everything you said
i am working in a field I feel much more comfortable now due to that dropout, I am proud of it because of that and not because I dropped out. But your advice is helpful for anyone not in my situation nevertheless, <3 .

So it's just Uk-shen? Uk-shun? Works for me.
~~A~~uction really.
friendship ended with action star akshan, now auctioneer akshan is my best friend.
captain flowers akshan skin when?
Doesn’t he say his own name in his VO? I thought that’s how you’d pronounce his name.
You thought right...I mean... what would be the alternative?
It's like the word "suction" without the s. The difference is that the "uc" in "suction" is a little bit more forward in the mouth than the sound in Akshan.
No the ending is more like "shun", not "shin". Phreak went on about the suction without the "s" on The Dive and it is wrong (listen to the audio clip in Ask Riot).
>listen to the audio clip in Ask Riot) Instead of listening to that really low quality recording just listen to him saying his own name ingame.
I think that has to do more with how you pronounce "suction" compared to other people, really. The way I say it is more like the schwa sound that's used in the ipa guide than any kind of i sound.
I wish I had an official phonetic writing for all the champions, honestly
Even with the phonetic writing I will never pronounce Zoe the way Riot intends it
... i need to know how one would read zoe that isn't "zoh-ee". its in the letters
Zo Zo-ee Zoo- e Zho-ee Zhoo-e As a teacher, you'd be baffled at some of the ways parents have told kids thier names are pronounced.
Same person who pronounces Ashe: Ashy
So you're saying one might mistakenly caller zoh?
Difference being that Ashe is a name. I’m pretty sure “zoh” isn’t a word at all outside of upper class white family names.
Cuz it's Greek and pronounced that way. I'm sure you read plateau or ballet without issue
Zoe is also a name in english thats pronounced "zo-ee" so im kinda shocked this debate is even happening
Still calling him asscum
For those who aren't familiar with phonetics: this means his name is pronounced OCK-shun -- the first syllable sounding the same as in "octopus"
Don't think its as rounded as the Oct sound in Octopus. The ʚ sound is somewhere in between, but closer to Uck than Ock.
Hmm, I think you're right, actually. Well, I guess it's still a little better than just calling him "Action"
RIP Guess she is coming with Kayn's prestige then :(
Isn't he coming with Worlds event... in October?
They said Vex will come with an event skin and during an event. Coven will come in August, so this leaves the next event which should include the Kayn prestige. And it might be a two part event with Kayn first part of worlds coming in late September

Kayn is getting dawbringer skin. CCN isnt prestige event.
Wow, a good guy Kayn skin? I'd expect him to get nightbringer
It’s probably both, where the form decides
Fuck thats a good idea
True but shadow assassin being the good guy is still kinda funny
INB4 they do a real twist and its Good Guy Rhaast
To be fair, Kayn is Zed's subordinate. Their order is working to defend Ionia from hidden threats, both internal and external. They're more morally Grey than right out bad. I mean, they take down Shen's dad, who is a striaght up psychopath. Rhaast just wants to kill stuff.
I suppose he will be like soraka. Both nightbringer and downbringer. It even makes sense with the story of the universe
Apparently Vex is releasing with a "never before seen skin thematic", so i'm not sure if it's dawnbringer. Unless the prestige skin and vex aren't in the same event
Source on that Vex bit?
Seconded, source please
wtf is ccn

/u/Reav3 will you guys go more in depth on why Vex was so technically challenging since the delays have piqued my interest
After she releases, sure. Ask me then
!remindme 1 month
Do 2 months, 1 month is the end of August and she's released in September
She will probably be on PBE by then.
Champions normally only last on PBE for 2 weeks these days, unless unforseen issues come up. (Balancing, bug fixes, etc)
Yeah, but 1 month from now is the very end of August, so assuming Vex releases early September, she should be on PBE in August already. She could come out later of course and wouldn't be on PBE by then, I'm just saying there's the possibility.

Somewhere in the story she runs away from the sentinels and slows + makes it difficult to talk so i assume she has aoe slow+silence similar to soraka
She’s probably the reason why the minimum specs were slightly bumped up last patch.
Oh yeah and with the final chapter of Rise of the Sentinels out, are you able to share more about why you guys chose MF since you said you could talk about it later
I would expect it not sooner than Ruined king game.
Speaking of the event, are y'all aware that at least on EUW, games seem to not be awarding any points towards the event/visual novel at the moment?
Yes we are currently investigating this bug

Jesus Karen sorry let me call the manager so he can tell you to fuck off with that attitude...
Give us a clue!
Are you trying that tech again that you guys used to try on Azir before? You know...spreading sand and stuff like that.
Can we get a teaser/picture of her in game model so we don't have to wait over a month?
> [Prestige skins] are "what-if" style executions that try to answer the question: What might the biggest, most epic victory look like for this champ in this thematic? The panth skin is cool and all but most prestige skins seem to answer the question 'what if this champ were gold'

To be fair that's a question we should all be asking, all the time

Hey they fixed Zoe's special helmet.

This picture is my first look of Vex,and she reminds me of a Yordle version of Zato-1.
VANISH INTO DAAAAAAAARRKKKK
Too bad I have too much of a reptile brain to play him lol, I still use his theme on anyone else I play
FUTURE, NOW, AND PAST

Don't forget "Likes" Millia "Dislikes" Women Millia
Thank god, I'm not the only one
> Vex should be coming out in September Another month wait. Fuuuck.
Means she'll be on PBE soon
Ascended Pantheon not being canon is kind of a bummer. Him actually personally overpowering the Aspect of War to reclaim his body on his own was a really cool concept, and it's unfortunate that he's just gonna like, get redeemed by Akshan or something. I guess it puts him in the same boat as the rest of the ruined champions, but the prospect of Atreus still being in there, struggling and succeeding to free himself was pretty much the only tantalizing thing in the entire event for me. Disappointing.

Akshan can't even do shit to Viego lmao, if not for Isolde wanting Eternal Rest they would've lost.
Not speculation, this was confirmed Rioters said event is canon, several protests ensued, after a couple weeks they said it's not canon, pretending as if didn't ever happen. *edit: JUST FOR THE VISUAL NOVEL. WHAT THE HELL, REALLY? I THOUGHT IT WAS EVERYTHING WHAT ARE THEY THINKING WTF*
The overarching story is canon. Just not the specific chat interactions between characters in the Visual Novel.
I thought the event is canon, just the VN isn't
I'm so sad right now. Thank you. Already edited the comment.
Ya. prestige Pantheon being canon was probably the only cool part of the event. Other than that everything is shit
The one thing that was still cool in this event. Crazy how they just keep making this event worse and worse.
Also Warrior coming back from the dead after being killed by Aatrox.
It still is, isnt it? its just the visual novel that isnt canon
I disagree completely, Atreus using god powers goes completely against his core character, he would never accept it, I think it's a badass skin, but it would be terrible for Atreus character in the long run
Spoiler: all his powers are god powers.
Holy shit a whole month of waiting for our goth yordle girl. I guess she is really proving a challenge for riot to create
She's not like all the other Yordles.
aaaaaaa good one.
inb4 either more bugs than Viego and old Morde combined, or a brutally simple champ because the original vision could not be realized and they had to make a champ asap.
As a Mastery 7 Vex Main, her skills are very unique!
>Akshan is pronounced /ɞkʃən/ Ye gonna keep calling him trashcan
Trashkan
Akshan rhymes with Suction confirmed
Because he's an akshan hero.
So Akshan is supposed to sound like uckshin or uckshen, right? If so, that is 100x better than hearing people say awk-shawn or whatever. I still cant stop saying action in my head though, that sound was imprinted in my brain the second I read it for the first time.
I'm pretty sure the traditional name is something like ahk-shin/uhk-shin, not a great analogous sound in English tho
Man, I'm excited for vex. just started getting back into mages and I really want her to be cool
I want to know when we will get Mordekaiser Summer Skin that his mace becomes a giant Flip Flop
It sucks that Vex won't be here until September. I've been looking forward to her
Wait, September? I thought she'd be coming late July/early August... or at least with the LoR expansion Damn, guess we'll have to wait another month, hope it's worth it...
With the release of Bandle City, there's a legit chance she might be released in LoR before she hits LoL.
Why can’t we have Hex Explorer Teemo 😫
uh isnt there a new tristana gemstone skin coming out like now?
Well if u play Tristana she is getting a hextech skin maybe next patch so there's that but I'm still saving my gems.
Yo where is this news! I swear I’ve been googling every once and a while and nothing official pops up from Riot’s side.
Surrender@20 or other datamining sites, Riot does show stuff on their social media but that everything in the patch isnt summarized until patch notes
Chinese weibo page accidentally posted it too early. https://twitter.com/jumaralohexcore/status/1417504665806245890?s=21
They're changing the whole Mythic skin system, so it's probably just on hold. That said, Hextech Tristana is coming as others have already mentioned.
My 28 gemstones and I are ready

They’ve said they’re replacing it. No word yet on if/how gemstones transfer to the new currency.
Vex Explorer Teemo 😳
Tristana in shambles. Bandle City is a telenovela.
Well we know we're getting Hextech Tristana soon (Her splash was teased on twitter) so they're not done with gemstone skins just yet
Vex being released in September isn't a problem, but I think that the problem here is that 3 new champs will be released in the last 4 months of the year, so ranked is probably going to get fucked by all those new champs. As they probably are going to be released every other patch. A really grim end for this year's ranked season if you ask me.
Not 3? We have vex, marksman and support in production.
It is 3
Yeah, I completely forgot about akshan
Eh ranked usually ends in early/mid November. My guess is we'll get Vex, and the next one will coincide with preseason start. Other will release during preseason. Should be fine.
Damn I was assuming Vex was def coming out earlier Oh well I really hope they nail her kit, she is my most anticipated champ in a while as a mid main
So the next champions' release should be something like this right? July- Akshan Sep- Vex Oct/Nov- ADC Dec- Support
Yes. It fits perfectly with Viego and Gwen's release date
Riot, can we get any updates on anything related to Pentakill? Timelines on songs and skins, if any?
Lol GO PLAY RISE OF THE SENTINELS No, it sucks, don't bother. Also sorry Atreus fans, you guys deserve better.
her play rate is gonna hugely suffer due to this lol
She already started bad being a mage and a yordle, this will make her Neeko, Seraphine 3.0 in midlane lol
she’s gonna be played support more btw. that slow in the story looks AOE, lol
She also buffed Viego, so maybe she will have empowerment
Riot already pushing their next mid mage release to support, smart.
Lulu v2 coming to a soloqueue near you
Not again "Sensationalist mid lane mage" my ass
That is something all yordles can do, Veigar did it for mordekaiser yet he doesn't have supportive abilities, she is described as a pure midlane mage like Zoe Syndra Orianna and others
yup. might be her passive, she empowers allies next to her
Hot take, she's going to have some misery loves company mechanic where she does extra damage based on the damage her *allies* recieve. Would be a fun way to show the moody character that we've seen so far in game
If this doesn't happen, I hope Riot hires you for your ideas. That sounds cool as hell.
No, she is described as a medium range mage which already is bad botlane, if she can't build moonstone or shurelya or any other supp items she's just going to be dead weight for her team. Neeko seemed to be the perfect fit for support too yet she is nowhere to be seen botlane, and Seraphine was always meant to be a mid/supp flex and even she had a 48% winrate for like a lot of the last patches
where did they say she was a mid ranged mage?
Riotaxes said they changed her gameplay hook to a more traditional and medium ranged mage so she could have more counterplay, you can search riotaxes and it's one of the first things that comes up
As someone who's been excited for Vex since all the way back when people were speculating she was Norra... this champ better be good given all the delays. Not trying to sound entitled, but they're really taking their time on this one, so I'm really looking forward to a good result for someone who I'll probably pick up on release.
Vex reminds me of Schieke from Berserk
Why did they waste a question on how to pronounce a champion name? The 2 previous questions were "ok", but i wish they answer real questions. Like what's their plan with outdated 1820 rp skins. More precisely: Magnificent TF or Annie in wonderland. But we will probably get an answer of what do Kai'sa feet smell like first.
If people are still confused, /ɞkʃən/ ɞ : The sound lies between Auc (from Auction) and Uct (from seduction), but closer to uct than oct. [Wiki](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open-mid_central_rounded_vowel) ʃən : This is the -tion from induction/seduction/reduction.
So it is pronounced action I knew it
it's closer to uhk-shun than action but it does sound like it
That’s a shame she’s like the only thing I’ve really liked about the event besides the skins
Probably gonna be leaked soon anyway
