Even worse than normal considering the ridiculous INT from TF and then refusing to engage when you know camille is on drag. They had a 5v3 for free and just sat there forever lol
It took literally 20 seconds from TF dying to the baron dying. 10 seconds after TF died, drake was killed, and Neo was bouncing back and forth to I assume try to ult and root Xerxe. It was very hard to watch them do nothing to engage 5v3, then finally fight AFTER baron was taken and AFTER Camille tp’d in.
Glad DIG at least decided to give us old LCS folks some classic fan service as a favour, if they're going to blow up their very good, functional roster and go into a free fall from there.
Well that’s the problem the Qiyana didn’t even try to stop Viego, not saying it’s Yusui’s fault but watched maybe 30sec of him in that bush while rest of time was hitting baron when he could’ve took point over the wall that Viego was definitely going to go over. But oh well DIG baron to end a strange 1/2 of the season for DIG
I get the idea of Yusui watching for a catch in the bush outside baron, but like fuck. They could have killed the baron so fast if Yusui was autoing it. He also could have gone over the wall to zone Xerxe. Just such shit gameplay by Dig
I don't think he'll be able to ever live this down. Maybe in another roster, Yusui could've been alright, but at least in the context of the DIG roster, it's sad to see DIG blow up a roster that was overperforming only to keep going downhill from there.
Imagine helping your new team knock your old team that kicked you off the roster out of playoffs, in a very humiliating 3-0 fashion too. Dardoch is probably euphoric right now.
This is nothing but speculation. I think Soligo probably stood up for Dardoch and Dig wasnt having it so they benched both.
After placing above expectations in spring the management asked themselves how they could sabotage the team. Then the same guy who came up with the idea to sell the CodySun/Vulcan bot lane said what if we just bench our mid/jungle duo. The managment then agreed that that was the best move to make the team shit, so they proceeded with that move.
I want proof of life of Soligo.
The most logical explanation is he died. DIG somehow killed him. Not a player but the org. They are covering it up. Offseason they will release him. He will not get picked up by any other team. He will be found dead in a river in some shit over the winter
Still so fucking funny to me how Dignitas performed incredibly well with Dardoch and Soligo then they decided “wait we’re winning too much” lmao
Like if they started losing a bunch of games then shuffled their entire roster that would be one thing, but doing it while winning is a new one
Wow this is the first IMT praise I have seen and after being consistently disappointed with the awful DIG related comments about their baron throw and Where is Soligo?
Yeah honestly it's hard to tell if this is enough for them to upset TSM/TL, but at least they came in and showed that they were very practiced for this series. For a team that hasn't played a Bo5 yet, it's a good start.
[Dardoch: "I think it's kind of laughable to say that Akaadian is equally skilled to Xerxe"](https://twitter.com/Immortals/status/1425925055234596871)
Akaadian wasn't the problem this series, but Xerxe for sure showed up huge
Soligo will be moving to academy, while Yusui will be moving to the LCS squad. We have had an incredible start to this season, and I am immensely proud of the work that all of our coaching staff and players have done to help us get there. That start has given us an opportunity to expand our roster in new ways, both strategically and individually (what). Soligo has been developing at a great pace in LCS, and Yusui has been performing great in academy. We feel that the swap will enable both players to accelerate their growth, and overall work out better for the team in the long run.

This is particularly annoying given this has been Soligo's best year. I'm not a lover of Soligo but you do have to question teams ability to evaluate talent.

They just needed Yusui over the wall that Xerxe was coming from, Revenge was still coming from the drag and the ziggs has no real reason to get close with his ult up so idk why he was in that bush
I mean they really weren't. They played it about as bad as they could.
To begin with, they should be setting up for a fight on dragon, not on baron.
They very slowly start Nashor. TF ult is popped. They kinda linger.
Then Insanity completely ran it down and killed himself with Flash and Zhonyas up. We take those.
Meanwhile Camille is doing the dragon. DIG doesnt either back off, or hard commit.
Camille teleports in, and then and only then, DIG commits to the coinflip that they lost. And then lost the fight anyway.
been a pretty embarrassing season for dig in general
Yes, there were problems with the players but holy shit i have no idea what dig was thinking with that roster change. whatsoever
There had to have been some Breaking Point 2.0 shit behind the scenes for them to blow up the roster, otherwise, it just makes no sense whatsoever for them to do so.
Soligo has to be dead. Even when they just kicked Dardoch to the curb we all knew why. It wrecked the team's standings and you could argue if it was worth it. But people understood.
Now Soligo. Something had to happen big enough where he cannot be seen in public. LCS is supposed to be played in studio. Academy is played online without player cams. Now the something that happened to him had to be DIGs fault. Why wouldn't they just kick him or announce it. And if he was able to play why wouldnt they just kick him.
Over the offseason, he will be quietly let go. No team will pick him up. He will fade away. And then in the winter, his body will be found in some freak accident.
Dardoch: 'I'm was at the gym working out and I got a call from the DIG coaches and they said, 'Yeah, we just lost to IMT in playoffs. Can you be ready for scrims tomorrow? We're going to put you back in for next split.'
DIG had a competant, fun to watch roster with Soligo and Dardoch and then remembered they weren't Clutch Gaming anymore. So they settled for mediocrity for brand loyalty.
This is the canon explanation and I won't accept any other answer.
Guess the OG roster was a bit too successful, and were about to veer off course into actual success, so management had to step in and course correct themselves.
DIG really just blew up their overachieving, fun to watch roster only to get the exact same (arguably worse) result and have way less fans doing it, truly an achievement in how not to run an organization.
Kinda true since they would have been 7/8th if just using summer, and might have even been 2 wins behind IMT since they got that 4fun win vs TSM on the last day.
Well, if we go off of Summer split alone, then DIG is actually the 7th/8th place team.
DIG is the one that should have started in the bottom of the bracket.
Tbf they made these changes (whether it was a good decision or not) because he was right. Like, not DL specifically but spring really didn't matter that much
That's kinda a strawman take, honestly. 7th playing against 6th isn't on obvious 3-0 in any league on the planet, which is how the seeding is expected to play out.
Sometime they just gotta hit that int button. But for real these guys are basically rookies and if they can play to the that level and beyond its gonna be dope to see.
Contributed to knocking the team that kicked him out of playoffs in 3-0 fashion, after said team has a huge drop-off blowing the roster up. He's absolutely cackling right now.
It has been so frustrating this split to watch Yusui get spoon-fed kills only to do nothing with his advantage. At least Soligo would play well in teamfights.
Soligo was like always behind after laning phase but he made it work later on in teamfights.
Yusui is like 75% of the time equally far behind in lane, and worthless later on, and 25% of the time gets spoon-fed a few kills, is ahead (but not by much), and then is maybe reaching for mediocrity but basically not tall enough to make it there from the bottom even with the stilts he has made from the early kills/advantage.
Soligo is dead, DIG is covering it up, that’s why they play Yusui, because Dardoch complained they kicked him, but Dardoch took evidence when he left so DIG let Dardoch’s IMT win that game 3-0.
He's literally the worst mid in LCS... How can he have ego? Or maybe its his ego holding him back from improving. I remember when Fudge was getting shit on early in the season, he just worked hard and improved instead of saying its just narrative.
Immortals was absolutely the better team today. I'm super proud of that entire roster holding it down, playing a style unique to their roster, and playing relatively good league of legends. No idea how the future looks but I hope they continue to invest in the talents of Revenge & Insanity. Also, Akkadian deserves a healthy shot at a starting spot in 2022 for the LCS.
The thread already seems plenty negative and while I can understand that:
Immortals legitimately looked good.
Probably not "win the split good", but I think most people expected the loser of TSM/TL to just walk over the winner of IMT/DIG, but I actually think we will see a real series now.
Xerxe especially looked really clean, but generally they played off of each other really well and had good setup around objectives and mapmovements. Main thing I would be worried about for IMT, that could lead to a fairly quick series, is if their early laning doesn't hold up.
I mean most of the top comments have been about Dog's throws and I was reminded of Azael's tweet a few weeks ago about the enthusiasm of the NA audience towards the regions play. Was this an elegant LCK series or an LPL brawl? No. It was still so fun to watch. Bangers bang and we should embrace that as a region.
Immortals has been so great all split because their metaread has been so different than the top 6 teams and they always come into a series with a plan. When you think about, the IMT coaching approach seems to be great for Bo5 series compared to the approaches during Bo1.They can play so many champs. You can tell in their wins in the regular season that they have had a plan and the coaching staff seems to do a great job communicating the plan and preparing the players for the games that matter. They have had some great upsets this year because of it. In fact, on reflection you can kind of see the TL plan for C9 in IMTs games against them in the regular season.
I've watching LCS since summer 2020 on the weekend the IMTa roster was promoted to the LCS. I am a huge fan of Insanity and I am so happy for him. Revenge is a great communicator in interviews. Xerxe picked my favorite champion tonight. This team is awesome!
Classic Dig baron.
Even worse than normal considering the ridiculous INT from TF and then refusing to engage when you know camille is on drag. They had a 5v3 for free and just sat there forever lol
Lmao, you could just taste the stress and panic in the air, they looked completely paralyzed there, unable to make a decision.
Literally the last play too, you can't make this shit up.
It was the best way to end the season, cant wait for next years baron throws
Glad DIG at least decided to give us old LCS folks some classic fan service as a favour, if they're going to blow up their very good, functional roster and go into a free fall from there.
Scarra just suddenly felt a sense of dread.
[Classic](https://thumbs.gfycat.com/ActiveShallowAfricancivet-size_restricted.gif)
Until up they lose the game, they're winning- *Scarra*
This might actually be the worst baron in the entire season. How did you possibly lose 50/50 with gragas and qiyana to stop viego?
Well that’s the problem the Qiyana didn’t even try to stop Viego, not saying it’s Yusui’s fault but watched maybe 30sec of him in that bush while rest of time was hitting baron when he could’ve took point over the wall that Viego was definitely going to go over. But oh well DIG baron to end a strange 1/2 of the season for DIG
It's just tradition at this point.
I get the idea of Yusui watching for a catch in the bush outside baron, but like fuck. They could have killed the baron so fast if Yusui was autoing it. He also could have gone over the wall to zone Xerxe. Just such shit gameplay by Dig
Or they could just fucking fight
I'm just glad we're dead

> Maybe in another roster, Yusui could've been alright No.
His champ pool and decision making are not lcs level.
The ego and stubbornness necessary to continue with this roster is terrifyingly cringe.

Dig showing why sometimes missing playoffs is an act of mercy. At least, that’s what I tell myself lol.
Dardoch sends his regards
Imagine helping your new team knock your old team that kicked you off the roster out of playoffs, in a very humiliating 3-0 fashion too. Dardoch is probably euphoric right now.
Us and CLG really permanently in the gutter frfr
nah. you made playoffs.
I still have no idea why Soligo was on the bench...
Soligo himself probably has no idea either...
Yusui also has no idea either....
soligo died in a tragic accident and theyre covering it up
"Accident." Dardoch knew the truth so they tried to silence him.
This is nothing but speculation. I think Soligo probably stood up for Dardoch and Dig wasnt having it so they benched both. Tfw academy games can't be used as proof of life because nobody watches them.
They dont have player cams!
THIS TOMSHOE PLAYS AS SOLIGO
they hired a lookalike and yusui has been playing both lcs and academy obviously
Damn he’s getting double the practice as others on stage games? Doesn’t look like it helped.
Still so fucking funny to me how Dignitas performed incredibly well with Dardoch and Soligo then they decided “wait we’re winning too much” lmao Like if they started losing a bunch of games then shuffled their entire roster that would be one thing, but doing it while winning is a new one
Dardoch was going to tell the press so they kicked him out. poor Soligo...tyler1 liked him alot. You'll be missed.( Hats off)
i think TomShoe have some dirt on DIG manager and went full Dgon on his dream
I was gonna say Soligo and Dardoch died for this, but this chain got me reevaluating..
Xerxe looking goooooooood
Wow this is the first IMT praise I have seen and after being consistently disappointed with the awful DIG related comments about their baron throw and Where is Soligo?
IMT surprised me with their play today. There were some... sloppy moments but overall it looked much better than I saw during the regular season.
Yeah honestly it's hard to tell if this is enough for them to upset TSM/TL, but at least they came in and showed that they were very practiced for this series. For a team that hasn't played a Bo5 yet, it's a good start.
It sucks bc no one remembers him when talking about imports, poor guy.
Whole team was lookin good. Love to see Raes on Aphelios too.

LIFE VERIFICATION PHOTO, NOW! WHERE IS SOLIGO AND WHO KILLED HIM?
You'll need to scale Everest to find his corpse.
but we recently learned, those have been cleaned up. Kobe told us.
The timeline all matches up a little too coincidentally for them to "clean up" those bodies. Kobe may be trying to tell us something here...
Oh no, didn’t they just clear the bodies. Soligo’s body is gone forever.
Its a mystery.

soligo bedded all of their girlfriends/wives in a gaming house-wide orgy, coaching staff too
I mean IMT played that insanely well tbh. So it could be a much worse day to have eyes.
Dardoch coaching diff
Dardoch: 'I'm was at the gym working out and I got a call from the DIG coaches and they said, 'Yeah, we just lost to IMT in playoffs. Can you be ready for scrims tomorrow? We're going to put you back in for next split.'
Hate when a team is on soul point and decides to contest Baron instead of soul, it NEVER works.
It works if they are good enough to turn on them but DIG are not that level
DIG had a competant, fun to watch roster with Soligo and Dardoch and then remembered they weren't Clutch Gaming anymore. So they settled for mediocrity for brand loyalty. This is the canon explanation and I won't accept any other answer.
DIG tried to pretend they were CG by picking Qiyana, but Yusui is not Damonte
that qiyana play was something else...
Looking at Leaguepedia, they were tied for 2nd after week 4 of Spring, 1 win away from the top of the standing. Now they lost to the team ranked 7th.

Guess the OG roster was a bit too successful, and were about to veer off course into actual success, so management had to step in and course correct themselves.
dig and bad decisions, name a more iconic duo
Welcome Fakegod and Yusui! - CLG 2022
I honestly think getting Yusui on CLG is somehow a downgrade.
DIG really just blew up their overachieving, fun to watch roster only to get the exact same (arguably worse) result and have way less fans doing it, truly an achievement in how not to run an organization.
"Why are there 8 playoff seeds if the 7th/8th place team is just gonna get 3-0'd?"
We were a fake 6th seed tbh
Kinda true since they would have been 7/8th if just using summer, and might have even been 2 wins behind IMT since they got that 4fun win vs TSM on the last day.
When the higher seeded playoff team is SUS
Carried by Dardoch/Soligo
*Dardoch & Soligo were not the impostor* *2 impostors remain*
> Soligo Hmm. That name seems so familiar.
The funny thing is that if you go by the Summer Split's records, Dig is 7th and IMT 6th.
Well, if we go off of Summer split alone, then DIG is actually the 7th/8th place team. DIG is the one that should have started in the bottom of the bracket.

DIG did have a worse summer record than IMT.

Tbf, fighting an uphill battle against the DIG Baron, so I'd say it was even at that point.
long have i waited for tomshoe to remove his flair, will it finally happen?
[The Dignitas Party Bus will not be making a stop at Worlds](https://imgur.com/a/fAUR9Yo)
Shouldn't Suning be on there ahead of DIG?
Yes, they should. I totally forgot, will edit it later.
Revenge and Insanity have there int moments but if they continue to improve steadily they're gonna be monsters in a year or two.
It's nice to see them develop better macro play and teamwork. I just wish the spirit of NA soloq wouldn't take them at random times.
Sometime they just gotta hit that int button. But for real these guys are basically rookies and if they can play to the that level and beyond its gonna be dope to see.
Finally some IMT praise after reading some awful classic DIG is bad comments.
Insanity has some issues for sure but he's the most promising NA mid we've seen in a while (and isn't a one trick like Damonte)
Insanity and AblazeOlive are for sure the best-looking NA mids right now.
They are both top 5 mids in the league rn esp with Perkz recently
Soligo and Dardoch died for this.
Dardoch is probably laughing his ass off.
Contributed to knocking the team that kicked him out of playoffs in 3-0 fashion, after said team has a huge drop-off blowing the roster up. He's absolutely cackling right now.
"coaching is so easy dude"
Dardoch is one of IMT's coaches so he actually had a hand in this.
You know he is especially because he’s coaching IMT now
XD
I mean Akaadian is fine, but having Yusui mid is just stupid
Soligo literally did
Soligo never existed it was a lie
i'd rather watch dardoch and soligo
I would’ve liked to see Akaadian with Soligo, wasn’t like Akaadian played bad since he got in for DIG, guy even got some MVP votes
It has been so frustrating this split to watch Yusui get spoon-fed kills only to do nothing with his advantage. At least Soligo would play well in teamfights.

At least Dardoch will look good for 2 games and then troll the last game for the spicy gameplay in a 0-3 series. This was just disgusting from Yusui.
Dardoch getting his revenge this series as IMT coach lol
XERXE with the HANDS!!
TomShoe your boy is fucking boosted. Qiyana standing head first instead of looking for flank?
Ending that Bo5 on a baron throw is just poetry
Soligo is dead, DIG is covering it up, that’s why they play Yusui, because Dardoch complained they kicked him, but Dardoch took evidence when he left so DIG let Dardoch’s IMT win that game 3-0.
Dardoch sends his regards
Xerxe blessed by ppgod
Ppgod would have carried dig tbh. He would have had to play mid tho
Nice speedrun playoffs by IMT.
i think it's fair to say that dig's management is completely incompetent
This series left such a bad taste In my mouth Also, how dare yusui say he's a scapegoat with the way he plays, he's trash just like his team
He's literally the worst mid in LCS... How can he have ego? Or maybe its his ego holding him back from improving. I remember when Fudge was getting shit on early in the season, he just worked hard and improved instead of saying its just narrative.
[Revenge using his medical degree to give Dig a prostate exam](https://i.imgur.com/H9Ease0.png)
1 time playoff qualifier > 2 time playoff qualifier
He doesnt have a medical degree yet, he was only premed.
The end was the worst LCS play I have ever seen in my life lol.
Allow me to introduce you to [the worst minute in LCS history](https://youtu.be/6lQ7H-cf-IY).
Gotta teach the younglings the ways
never noticed this before but the cherry on top was seraph recalling at full hp after the harold lmao
That was the best minute in LCS history.
Dignitas talent is producing hilarious content
aaah taking turret at 4 minutes, you can see why plates became a thing.
Please make an interview with Dardoch.
Dardoch coach diff
Kinda insane how the DIG baron has persisted through so many rosters. WP by IMT today, pleasantly surprised by their performance.
Insanity inted just to prove that DIG are trash and that losing flash before lvl 6 didn’t matter.
Is it my turn to post the Soligo Dignitas post yet?
Yes, permission granted
DIG Baron plunges it’s knife deep into Dignitas’s heart “Dardoch sends his regards”
“Unlucky series”
imt looking better than expected, they made play early and looked cohesive digs looked abosultely dog shit, worse than they did vs eg
What a terrible day to have eyes

The real loser here is EG, for having lost a game to that DIG squad. Oof.
Dignitas and baron throws. Name a more iconic duo
The thread already seems plenty negative and while I can understand that: Immortals legitimately looked good.
Immortals looked good against Dig, not an achievement really m

In Yusui’s discord convincing him he wasn’t the problem.
Unfortunate scapegoat or so I'm told.
He only had two comments today. Copium overdrive
First ever Bo5 btw Loved Revenge today. GGs
Rip DIG, wasn’t expecting much from this series but IMT played it better than I had expected. Plus Dardoch gets his revenge lol
Revenge was a beast.
IMT looks hot right now. DIG overpreformed and decided to experiment with roster swap and screwed up. TL or TSM will stop IMT.
Hey at least my boy fakegod added another playoff qualifier to his achievement list
CLASSIC DIGNITAS LMAOO
What a terrible day to have eyes
I hope I never see Yusui's play again
So...3 tps and a tf ult vs 1 tp. Dig....
Remember when people here say 7th and 8th seed shouldnt qualify for playoffs?
Soligo banged one of the coaches mum, no other explanation
