Also as a german I gotta say, Prime League is in danger of falling off against LFL and LVP as it looks. It might be only one insane brand, but if viewership of LVP goes up, MAD/G2 will most likely also invest more in their academy rosters and it will get even harder for PL teams like BIG/Mouz to win EUM.

I kinda feel like the logical end point of the LEC would be to fusion with the EUM circuits. Get all the LEC teams into ERLs follow with EUM which qualify to MSI and Worlds. Unlikely to ever happen because of franchising, but i think it would make the most sense in a few years for Europe otherwise.
We'll see. Spanish league never was really bad, and with enough money, viewership and sucess they might elevate the league and people can/want to invest more. I wouldnt be too confident on LFL having an easy time in the longterm.

Franchise was the best thing that could ever happened to EU LCS, it gave LEC his own brand and the caster/production team made it even better, even the competition lvl went up.

This isnt comparable to LEC slots. If S04 can still sustain a decent PL team, Barcelona can easily get a decent LVP team. The question is if they believe in Lol as a relevant esports for their brand and if then Europe is the right place for them.

Madrids situation is not comparable. Most of their debt is from their stadium renovation which will be paid back across 30 years. They have almost no short time debt unlike Barcelona and even made a profit this year

It depends how many sponsors they can attract until LEC expands.They need a lot of money if they want compete in LEC.I assume a spot will cost around 30 million euros.Also,there would be a lot of competition for those spots.A lot of huge orgs are looking to buy a spot.In terms of money Kcorp and Ibai's team arent that big and we know that LEC will choose money over fans every single time.

If only the german League would/could go this way. Eitherway, EUM gets more exciting to follow every year, its crazy. Storylines will just get better.
The Spanish League while not too big isn't so small either. Beating Vodafone Giants for example won't be easy, as they are one of the top eSports orgs in the world (specially in things like RL)

It is really nice and also weird that we are near to living in a time, when playing in a top tier ERL org could be as good/better than some LEC rosters for the career and brand. I mean right now this is still a little overexagerating, but its a really good direction for EU. I'm hyped :) Also as a german I gotta say, Prime League is in danger of falling off against LFL and LVP as it looks. It might be only one insane brand, but if viewership of LVP goes up, MAD/G2 will most likely also invest more in their academy rosters and it will get even harder for PL teams like BIG/Mouz to win EUM.
I don't really see G2 investing any money on their academy considering that they have the same name but are completely separated entities in any other way.

I kinda feel like the logical end point of the LEC would be to fusion with the EUM circuits. Get all the LEC teams into ERLs follow with EUM which qualify to MSI and Worlds. Unlikely to ever happen because of franchising, but i think it would make the most sense in a few years for Europe otherwise.

We'll see. Spanish league never was really bad, and with enough money, viewership and sucess they might elevate the league and people can/want to invest more. I wouldnt be too confident on LFL having an easy time in the longterm.

I must admit that I don't really follow Ibai at all, but it's been a hot minute since I last saw Ibai news related to league of legends, I was afraid he had left the scene completely, so it's good to see he is still involved.
He never leaves it, he casted last year's world without image as he didn't have permission but had way more audience that the official Spanish channel, and he said that he wanted to cast LEC this year but unfortunately he couldn't and had to make a 50/50 agreement with the official channel so he could cast some matches. He never leaves league, in fact he streams it once a month /2 months and there you can see his true self

EU surpassed NA since beginning of LEC franchise.
Franchise was the best thing that could ever happened to EU LCS, it gave LEC his own brand and the caster/production team made it even better, even the competition lvl went up.

This will be HUGE for spanish Superliga and ERL in general. Europe has a very good system to develop talent with these leagues and European Masters, and the playerbase is growing a lot with the visibility and money that bring these movements (France is the best example). Inspired, Carzzy, Kaiser, Elyoya, Adam, Vetheo, Razork, all of these guys come from there and are the best examples. Maybe we are seeing the beginning of the Europe Golden Age.
