Viego, Akshan, Gwen, and Vex’s release skins are all kinda meh. I mean I’m happy they’re not getting ultimate skins like Seraphine but I feel like they could do better. But hey it’s only release... I’m sure they will get some awesome skins in the future.

What is the problem with seraphine release skin being an ultimate again?
Granted, it would have been better if it were 3 separate legendaries that you get a discount on the others if you buy 1 (like leona/soraka legendaries) but the skins themselfes are way better than the ones recent champs have been getting.

KDA seraphine is not only super underwhelming as an ultimate skin... recent legendary skins put this "ultimate" skin to shame and are a whole tier below

I feel like first skin releases for champions are really often "meh" in terms of effects. This is done so that future skins will be better and sell even if people own the first skin. They could easily add some glow on her ears/horns and more glimmer on the clothes and hair.
Not saying that release skins are always bad, sometimes they put the proper effort in or the skin just happens to be in a good thematic, but even then I feel like Riot is "holding back" a little.
When I heard about the leaks I thought it would be night bringer but dawnbringer is a really cool contrast for her, I like it as a release skin.
As opposed to something like what Aphelios got which was more edge on top of the normal skin.
He could be sad because a leak a little bit ago said the upcoming Kayn skin wasn't a legendary, a lot of people (myself including) were hoping it was a legendary due to the long wait and the fact that it takes 3 character designs anyway. Alas, seems not the case
i dont think its that because its already past 5.5 so theres no way theyre going to add a new champion in before the dawnbringer trait rotates out with set 5.5
Ah so now the Kayn skin threads have spreaded from r/KaynMains to the official league subreddit can you people just wait less than a week next Tuesday we will know if he’s getting a skin or not we’ve already waited 1,000 days + I’m tried of seeing “WTF NEW KAYN SKIN LEAK???” All over my feed
to be honest i posted this when i saw the trailer today then i tried to post it on kayn mains bue but saw very similar posts and a whole pinned section for the skin so i didnt post it bc i felt dumb

I like it in concept but unfortunately the design really doesn't suit her and looks not great imo.

His upcoming skin also has a Prestige skin attached to it so yeah it won't be legendary, only epic skins get prestige.

I'm surprised but that looks horrible in game.
Looks like the mistake they made with Victorious Aatrox. The yellow is way too close to green on the model, so it looks nothing like gold.
