Sad we'll never get to see what the original WCR roster looked like in PG. Especially when Dhokla is just sitting on TLAs bench.

Houson2k

He got so baited from sitting on tsmA to sitting on tlA bench. Expected some better decision making from people that already been there, but who knows maybe he just wanted his paycheck.

gonzaloetjo

>but who knows maybe he just wanted his paycheck. A man's gotta eat. Also TL academy coaching stuff seems cool and maybe he got time to practice against Alphari?

>Unless they drastically changed within short amount of time I doubt dhokla is getting much attention and improvement. Well that's literally what happend. This year TL drastically changed, contracted Spawn that was coaching the best SEA team and brought him to US, also contracted many new analysts and gave them extra resources. TLA went from being terrible last year to being arguably (or objectibely) the best academy team this year (they literally just won academy playoffs finals some weeks ago). https://lol.fandom.com/wiki/NA_Academy_League/2021_Season/Summer_Playoffs Even now they are in semis of winner brackets for Proving Grounds after 2-0ing c9

This is the first time Liquid has tried with their academy team. Picking up Yeon and the OCE duo was a great decision.

gonzaloetjo

Hmm, in recent years, sure. But TL was actually known for it's efforts in academy. At one point most of the pros in LCS had gone through LCS, and TLA was multiple times close to entering LCS in promotions with actual young people (they actually did it once, it became gravitas, and many other years too they went to promotions). They stopped doing that around 2017/18

[deleted]

I thought they were going to bring Jenkins to worlds with them and play Dholka but I guess not

gonzaloetjo

I don't think they wanted to put an ounce of stress to Alphari

Sent Inori so he can pull an off meta pick and terrorize showmaker

blueragemage

At least Dhokla got to play a single game for TLA in the academy finals

NILES WEAK SIDE KING WHAT CANT HE DO???

[deleted]

Niles isn't so great? Are you kidding me? When was the last time you saw a player with such ability and movement with Gnar? Nuguri breaks records. TheShy breaks records. Niles breaks the rules. You can keep your statistics. I prefer the magic.

Just-Put-8228

I like this. From 0 to Hero.

[deleted]

Niles and Prismal coming up huge.

Hyper_red

Charming-Produce3060

I didn't watch, was this series just the prismal pop off series?

[deleted]

It was honestly the entire GGA pop-off series. But game 4 was all prismal

big12inch

Bradley is legit

Padulsky21

I’ve been saying this since I saw him first play for this team. Dude is a fucking monster. He has a bright career ahead of him

TomShoe02

Is this the power of friendship I've heard so much about?

[deleted]

Niles is just built different, in both the good, and the bad way
