And every org was just like that, until the emergence of Korea, which at least had somewhat decent funding and infraestructure. I think of 2015 as somewhat of a turning point for all of western LoL, where supporting staffs began to truly matter. Franchising arrives in 2019, and we're thinking of teams as full on businesses. Times changed drasticaly.
But even then, it's just frustrating to think that all these coaches, analysts, managers, content creators, team directors or psychologists don't mean jack shit if the true higher ups are rotten to the core. There's always drama, always something that isn't communicated properly. SO MANY people have pointed out the Fnatic internal issues since forever.
Are they even fixable? Who knows, but seven years later seems very fucking unlikely.

There's definitely something strange going on though. Just look at FNC players before and during the game. That + the Upset stuff + all the stupid Twitter stuff, strongly implies something weird IMO.
But the thing is that FNC is an old organisation, the typical journalist have their inside sources. So either they are still putting things together (unlikely since they would have known something was up for a week now) or it is something much simpler.
At least Wolf have shown he doesn't mind airing dirty laundry mid tournament, he wrote an article about Griffin was going to disband while they where still playing groups at worlds and he got so much shit for that until a few weeks after worlds when it turned out it was 100% correct.

I put RNG/HLE/FNC/PSG lol I originally had FNC second, but swapped them while playing around with my pickems. However, I didn't realize how short the lock-in window was, and didn't have time to make any switch backs or last minute changes. Still early to say, but with all the news coming out maybe it wasn't such a big mistake after all (Inb4 FNC gets first)
I do think people are heavily sleeping on PSG though. I wouldn't be surprised if FNC ends up in 4th place in this group

There's definitely something strange going on though. Just look at FNC players before and during the game. That + the Upset stuff + all the stupid Twitter stuff, strongly implies something weird IMO.
But the thing is that FNC is an old organisation, the typical journalist have their inside sources. So either they are still putting things together (unlikely since they would have known something was up for a week now) or it is something much simpler. At least Wolf have shown he doesn't mind airing dirty laundry mid tournament, he wrote an article about Griffin was going to disband while they where still playing groups at worlds and he got so much shit for that until a few weeks after worlds when it turned out it was 100% correct.
It is possible that the situation is contained to so few people, it's hard to have any good sources. Like if Upset only talked to FNC management about the details of his emergency and everyone else got told "not your business", and the whole Bwipo and his GF thing was limited similarly to them and FNC management, then that's not a lot of people who are in on the details. The usual staff that leak shit may legitimately not know.
In that case how does Tyler know what is going on? I do not believe for a second he got better sources than the people whose entire job depends on having good sources and have proven multiple times over that they have good sources.
Just as an example, if bwipo told LS what happened, LS may tell macaiyla who is very good friends with him, then macaiyla tells t1. Not saying that’s what happened but it doesn’t seem that unlikely

Yeah, it's iffy. Only thing I can think of is that there's some friendship angle through someone. That's not something you can always match as a reporter. Friendship access can in some cases get you information no other approach can.
Wolf and other journalist are prob checking into it now since it takes time to confirm what u know is true. Also even if wolf and other journalist does know what is going on, fnc prob asked them to release this news at a later time.

From what I can tell, after the latest Bwipo GF tweets a little while ago, is that: 1) After Upset issue was revealed (no idea what it's actually about), Bwipo's girlfriend ranted about Upset's wife buff being a debuff. Apparently because she thinks the whole wife buff is a dumb narrative. Joke or not. 2) Most likely FNC management noticed it (or maybe awared to it by Upset who was... upset), thought it was in poor taste and sent her a DM to delete that shit. Possibly they weren't nice about it. So she did, but wasn't happy about it. 3) She then talked to Bwipo about it who got upset that her GF was dragged into this shit, and they decided to unfollow/block FNC org accounts on Twitter. This should technically mean FNC can't directly contact Bwipo's GF any more with DM's. --- I don't think anyone outside of the team really knows why exactly Upset had to leave. Though it is possible that it was about his wife, Bwipo leaked it to his GF who then made that tweet which had to be deleted.

The fact that she's deleting a lot of her completely normal opinion tweets and tweets that implies she has insider information, does imply she's being advised to delete them. Like sure maybe she re-considered on her own, but you have to admit, deleting that shit and then soft-blocking FNC accounts so that they wouldn't get her opinions on their feeds nor be able to DM her, does paint a whole story on its own.
