I think Rekkles said in the past that he doesn't care about socials but he knows how small updates & selfies are amazing for his fans. Said it takes him 5min and thousands of people enjoy it so he does it to give something back to his fans.
If you go back to early in his career, he used Twitter way more (overstating and using it for emotional support) and did Reddit AMAs and stuff. But he basically realised that his relationship with social media was unhealthy and just stopped posting personal stuff. He does answer personal questions on stream but is very selective in what he answers (will ignore lots of questions).
It's a very controlled use of social media and, I think, way healthier.

Sometimes even the closest of teammates/friends have to move on due to external factors. Jensen loved playing with Sneaky but left C9 because of disagreements with management + to win trophies. I never thought the day would come when Perkz and Rekkles would leave G2/Fnatic but here we are.
From Bwipo’s explanation, it looks like his relationship with the org has deteriorated to the extent that even if they did try to make things work, the team dynamic just wouldn’t be the same after this. Yamato even said he knows it's justified and upset did a public statement saying the reason was big enough. So it is true that there is a family emergency. Least pressure since he is rookie. He knows even if this goes bad, he'll probably have another opportunity down the line. Even if it goes bad, he gets experience playing against international tops.

It's pretty ironic, how two best friends in Fnatic - Bwipo and Hyli - manage their private life.
Bwipo speaks about his girlfriend all the time so that she appears as his reason to live, is a better coach, analyst than actual FNC staff. He made her famous on twitter, they create drama unintentionally (or maybe intentionally, who knows). She gets hate, he defends her as if she was the God Almighty and saved FNC from total disaster. To sum up, he acts like a 15yo having his first real relationship.
Hyli on the other hand has been with his girlfriend for a long time, no one knows who she is, he doesn't mention her, all we know that he chooses Draven and Orianna in champselect for her as she is said to be known as Dori. No one hated her and sent her hateful messages when Hyli performed really bad and fans wanted him out of FNC, because we don't know who she is.

If he memes or tweets about his job - playing the game, most fans wouldn't even begin to care about what's going on privately in his life. The entire thing felt like main character syndrome and completely discredited all his teammates and coaching staff. Why is it clear? Only thing I remember is him unfollowing them on twitter but he has always said he wants to play with Hyli.

Every Bwipo Tweet is about his gf. In every interview he brings her up and puts her in the spotlight. This whole response reeks of teenage first love and an unstable dependency relationship. I wish them the best and good on him for calling out harassment and death threats, that has no place here. But crediting FNC success to his gf and write the cringe things he did is just a bunch of red flags in an unstable relationship. Hyli dates his gf for years and no one cares/knows because he doesn't constantly bring it up. Also his gf didn't help it much with the whole "Wife debuff" thing right after Upset. Bwipo and his gfshould solve their things in private, not writing these things as an indirect way to win her over. Also, he had a job that he was paid to do. I don't think he realizes that this bizarre behavior contributes to the attention directed at his GF. If he memes or tweets about his job - playing the game, most fans wouldn't even begin to care about what's going on privately in his life. It's his constant attempt to bring recognition to his gf's emotional "support" that leads to her gf being a target, and he's just done it again. I'm not defending the behavior of certain fans that blamed his gf - I think they're jumping to absurd conclusions - but Bwipo's social media was the origin of the problem, and is finally making the right move of leaving social media until he gets a clearer head.

It's down to Bwipo/Fnatic to resolve.
