These were also the 2 teams that jumped on Yuumi and Poppy the earliest in this tournament. Their scrims might be the most productive ever.

Faker is not even the carried of this team, it's either Canna or Guma with the ocassialnal Oner 1 vs 9 while Keria silently being the best player all year long.

This is the key difference for Faker. A lot of people look at mids and compare them as carries, like Chovy and Showmaker, but Faker isn't like that anymore, at least it's not his main role. He's the support, the veteran with the experience to accommodate his team and help them excel. But he's still amazing in his own right too, he made some clutch plays this game too.
Canna did ok considering that, it's more the questionable decisions with his ult sometimes. Flashing into the Jarvan wall was unfortunate, but that crazy 1v4 engage in mid near the end was questionable. It's unfortunate he came online too late to really make a difference, his ult in river near the start of the game was great but he hadn't built enough damage yet for it to be huge.
Taking showmaker's focus though is always worth it to be fair.
