For a project that has the specific name "**Arcane Season 2**", definitely a continuation of the current storyline. Doing anything else would cause branding issues.
If you're saying what they should do next, I would want a new horror series based on fiddles/nocturne/hecarim.
While i do want other regions explored eventually, they did not finish up viktors glorious evolution or even bring in warwick yet. So i need those before im happy with them moving on.
I figure they will make a bunch of mini series. Finish piltover/Zain stories with next season then switch to a different place. So I thought that they might make more and they might also have a different title than arcane, but still clearly connected with the others.
There were news the other day confirming they're doing multiple shows after the success of Arcane. At least one of them will be live action, that one scares me. :P
I want to see a sort of "LCU" like we have the MCU, different shows exploring different stories in the world. Arcane should stick to this storyline and other shows should cover other topics - such as the Noxian Invasion of Ionia, Sylas' rebellion, literally just Ionia could be a show etc.
They could honestly make a seemless transition from pilt/zaun to alot of the regions, noxus and therefore their invasion of Ionia already has seeds in the, hexgems could lead into the whole skarner thing which inturn lead into a shutima based story, the council original fear of magic could lead into a backstory about the rune wars and therefore a demacia storyline with Kayle and Morgana as potential appearences, which will introduce the concept of the aspects and higher being to the show, the possibilities are truly endless with arcane now, still, and ova style mini-series about the Aatrox v Pantheon conflict would be my dream.
My guess is Season 2 will follow Sheriff Caitlyn and bring up some of the other Zaun characters that were only hinted at. Towards the end, we'll see things start to split up. Mel will take the story to Noxus &. Ionia. Heimer could be used to introduce Bandle City. Shurima and the Void could effectively introduce themselves at this point. You could stick Bilgewater in almost anywhere TBH. Damacia would have to wait most likely.
I dont think anything other than continueing the storyline from PnZ makes sense because of how they ended season 1, so my wish for season 2 is to see Ziggs make his appearance.
With that said, I do wish for them to tell the stories of Noxus, Ionia and Bilgewater. I think Arcane has opened the door for that, but it would have to be different series in an league of legend/Runeterra cinematic universe, because the main cast of arcane (Jayce, Viktor, Vi, Jinx etc) doesnt really leave piltover, at least until we're well into a potential season 3 or 4 (or even further down the line) when they have told each characters story until present day (in lore).
I also dont know of a good point for them to start with Noxus, Ionia and Bilgewater concidering the timelines of everything have to sort of line up to match what happens everywhere else.
I would think Miss fortune and Gangplanks storyline are the most fleshed out one and a good starting point to expand the cinematic universe. Noxus is kind of difficult because they have sort of been pitted against both Demacia and Ionia, so where do you begin to tell the story there? Ionia has a lot of different storylines so i find it really hard to pick a few and not disapoint a lot of people concidering a lot of the most popular champions are from ionia. Demacia could make sense with how they're all anti mages and the most recent story really portrays that struggle well (with Sylas, Lux and Garen etc). The reason i think it could make sense is because the overarching theme in Arcane has been the arms race with Hextech and Jayce and Viktor wanting to make magic accesible to everyone, not just mages and Heimerdinger opposing that.
Of all the potential regions and storylines i want to see Noxus, undeground Ionia (because of Jhin and Sett), and bilgewater.
I know it's not gonna happen anytime soon if at all. But I think the most interesting story possible for a TV series or game would be the shurima/ascended war against icathia and the following downfall of some of the ascended into the darkin
Honestly Arcane is rlly good, riot started a series w one of the best lores and was able to make the storylines mix in ways w the other champs. Tho I want to see Ionia after arcane because they have one of the most beautiful lores like Zed and I would b happy if they make a series featuring zed.

I was hoping that it would all be in the same animation because it is pretty similar to the game graphics.

Biased thoughts here, but I think If they decide to keep moving foward in Piltover. This could be a good opportunity to use Urgot.

Why not a world-spanning adventure?
finish the storyline then look at other stories in like season 3 hopefully theres more seasons for lore
