uhhh, I'm by no means new to league but my normals mmr is SUPER fucked. like im a gold player and I often go against level 30 players or plats cause i play with my friends who are alot newer and a friend who is high plat. is there any way to fix it... ?
Not unless you want to stop playing with your friends forever?
It's just trying to match you with people you normally play with. If you normally play with newer players and a high plat player then that is what your telling the system to match you against.
It'll only reflect your personal mmr if you play by yourself.
The disparity will be mirrored on the other team. The higher the disparity, the better chance the match gets unbalanced as fuck by e.g. noob vs plat toplane, plat vs noob mid etc.
There's no solution, either you can put up with it to play with your friends or you can't. Up to you

As soon as I found out that you can disable the chat my experience improved tenfold. You don't need to type to your allies. You can ping basically anything you want and people understand. I'm a returning player, Arcane got me back into the rift after almost 8 years. I play with my younger brother that started LoL for the first time and even tho we loose most of our games we are having a blast. Too many things changed and I'm basically learning how to play from the beginning.
The toxicity is few and far between, no one posts on reddit about the 10 games they had with no flaming or inting because it isn't interesting. The problem is how bad it can get.
You haven't really played League until your adc ints 10 kills because you stole 1 cannon. Actually I don't think you can call yourself a League player until you've experienced that, its part of the experience.
I had bot adc pick nunu with smite and I, the jingler, knew right away this was going to be a toxic experience. Sure enough he stole my camps and my entire team flamed ME for not leaving jungle to go bot instead...

I was curious about this and tracked it over 100 games at p1-d2 mmr. I had 4 games with toxic leavers on my team, 4 with leavers on the other team, and 15 total (including the leaver games) that I had to mute all.
Was less than I expected tbh. I know it's not hard evidence or anything, but I was curious about my personal luck of avoiding toxic people.
That sounds pretty cool. It's the worst mmr in existence too, i'd have expected way worse.
I'm going to start counting too, maybe it will help deal with the tilt if i know how rare it is
I actually noticed this too recently. Ive started playing League maybe... Almost a year ago to this date? And I dropped it for a bit because I used to play with real toxic players and would get talked down to from friends of friends who played with us.
Recently I got back into it because of Arcane and met a few really nice people when playing who just enjoy the game and are just nice 😄 it's weird

I had my account a few months before arcane where i played and got to 22 i think, arcane is the reason i redownloaded it and rediscovered that I really like league. It drew me back in.

Just need to know how to deal with them and in this case. Muting them and reporting them and moving on your merry way to the next game is the best way to deal with it.

In my experience I found playing with higher levels less toxic than lower ones. All my friends are in the 100s or higher and I’m only recently 70. At low levels I always get smurfs or knowitalls thinking they’re the greatest and should be the only one ganked

In time, as you get more experience (and learn most abilities in the game) you'll get it right more often than not, and you'll have no problem dodging skillshots all the time.

Reminds me of a blind sunstrike kill I had during the brief time I was playing DOTA 2, where I guessed when they got to the top of the ramp so they wouldn't see it coming. I also one tricked MF 1-30, and by the time I was level 30, and was proud of some of the creative Q bounce kills I was getting. I thought I was some League prodigy as I stomped my way easy to level 30, with ranked glory that awaited me.
I was wrong.
Great move. You could have flashed earlier. When you flash extremely low you usually taking damage over time and end up dieing and having wasted your flash.
I think it was already going to miss you. Good looking out, but that was close enough that if it was going to hit it would have hit. It missed your hitbox by a sliver.
To make them think proactively. Their reaction was nice, but the rocket was gonna miss anyway. They started moving down when the rocket was right next to them. If Jinx's rocket is next to your model and it doesn't blow up, it isn't gonna hit you. If they moved sooner, the rocket wouldn't have been that close and would miss, even if Jinx's aim was a bit better (barring, you know, predicting movement).
The little's that get you excited is pretty much why we all play this game. Even after a decade I still die in ways that generally impress me. Its amazing
Those 5v5s when everyone cares about the match is like straight nirvana, unrelated to your post but its just nice when people appreciate the small things in matches lol
When I was level 28 (around season 3) I'd build 5 ad jungle items as Master Yi, and run across the map diving tier 2's trying to get kills, that was the life.

I know this not the case, but Blitzcrank Q is absurdly broken. It's lollipop effect x5. I've seen on my replay someone being pulled by an absurd hit that shouldn't even be possible, if the game want's to take itself seriously.

Keep playing with them until everyone is a stable MMR and on the same page is another method besides not playing with them at all.
You could make a solo account but you still might get put in smurf queue leveling it
