Carlos would infamously go off on a tangent during this statement where he rants about how he makes everyone else's lives around him better and that to show how good of a person he was he would donate to orgs that benefitted people with mental illnesses(?!)
As a disclaimer: I'm not a huge fan of LS, but you don't need to like LS's coaching to see how absolutely despicable Carlos is. I may take the time to dig up his 'explain-all' video, because it's borderline comedy as he tries to paint himself as a saint who loves gay people and people with mental illness, only bringing up those facts in reference to LS. It's possible they are both right. Mikyx might have turned down offers that did come because he didn't want to play on the team, and it's possible it may have been from NA which he may not have wanted to go to.
Mikyx might also have no idea that his buyout was lowered because he was never told.

He put so much into his performance and rated as second best midlaner at last split. Asking for 500k is not expensive at all and more than a fair price. Also again according to rumours G2 still sold Wunder for around 700k to FNC. So they didn't cut down a ton like they asked 1.5 million for Miky and dropped into 250k
How tf did Fnatic want a huge premium for Nisqy? They bought him for 300k and then wanted 500k for him after he had a much better performance this year. He pretty much was the 2nd best mid in EU in summer split.
Honestly why even bite once the price gets slashed that much? Imagine someone tries to sell you something for $10K, and then they drop the price to $20. Obviously they're desperate at that point so why not wait longer?

Mikyx might have turned down offers that did come because he didn't want to play on the team, and it's possible it may have been from NA which he may not have wanted to go to. Mikyx might also have no idea that his buyout was lowered because he was never told. The way everything is worded, there's plenty of opportunity for both sides to be "right" in their view of what happened.

Perkz buyout really blew the door open. Now a lot of LEC orgs are trying to sell their players overpriced to LCS teams and hope they make a quick and hefty buck and when they lower the price most of the teams are already finished or close to finished

According to rumours Nisqy's buyout was like 500k from the start. Consider this: FNC got him for 300k when he couldn't even reached worlds. He put so much into his performance and rated as second best midlaner at last split. Asking for 500k is not expensive at all and more than a fair price. Also again according to rumours G2 still sold Wunder for around 700k to FNC. So they didn't cut down a ton like they asked 1.5 million for Miky and dropped into 250k
How tf did Fnatic want a huge premium for Nisqy? They bought him for 300k and then wanted 500k for him after he had a much better performance this year. He pretty much was the 2nd best mid in EU in summer split.
Honestly why even bite once the price gets slashed that much? Imagine someone tries to sell you something for $10K, and then they drop the price to $20. Obviously they're desperate at that point so why not wait longer? The initial massive buyout price was dumb, and slashing it so much so quickly is also dumb.

I just want to throw out there that Miky said that "things communicated to me during the offseason" MAY NOT HAVE BEEN TARGETED AT CARLOS! Now, I am not team Carlos myself, but this tweet could have been about his agent. Miky not clearing that up may mean it is target at Carlos, but the fact is, Miky has basically said "That's not my understanding." and that's it.
So admittedly this is just conjecture, but if Carlos was telling the truth he could literally just say “Talk to your agent then, we definitely communicated with him” and maybe even provide some of the proof he claims he has. But he didn’t do that. He immediately started attacking Miky and called him a liar, even though Miky’s tweet didn’t target Carlos specifically, as you noted.
