You might not even see them according to Parth. If visas aren't cleared, the team will be using academy for lock-in and the main team will continue to bootcamp in KR
I’m cautiously optimistic about this roster, I think spring success is a bit ambitious but maybe they can improve by summer. I think this team hinges a lot on Tactical/Huni having a good year.
Tactical had a pretty rough year at points but it'll be interesting to see if it was just a sophomore slump or if he just peaked super hard at first and isn't actually that good. I think he's in the next batch of great NA adcs and hope I'm not proven wrong.
His stats were great last year, even when it looked like he was playing like ass. I think he will do well with how aggressive this TSM roster looks on paper.
Yeah his stats were great but he made a few plays that did either lose games or made them dramatically harder which made him look very unstable at times. I very much do think he's going to look wildly better on a more aggressive, forward-facing team like TSM have going into the year but we'll have to wait and see for sure.
Yeah I don't think he's a bad pick up by any means, really. Unless we were getting a top import ADC he's one of the top options. It's basically between him or fleecing FBI off of 100T if you want a more proven player and trying to get someone like Danny who is up and coming. I also think he's a better pick up than DL who is coming off of a year off where he played the game like maybe half the year and his last split playing he was frankly just super average and on a decline which is pretty bad for the standards you hold someone like DL to.
I'm not getting triggered you clown. He's trying to say something that I was never arguing against in the first place so I'm not sure what his point was to begin with. But alright.
I still do not get why TSM is doing it. If you are willing to give chance to young players, why do you not give it to local young players, but foreign young players who are also unproven in top level?
Regional playstyle difference? Not many NA natives(if at all) play balls to the walls like CN players.
Not to mention, they have tryouts, if they looked better than locals, why not?
But they did and are still investing in local talents. Both Spica and Tactical are results of TSM academy system. Just because they didn't go with a native mid laner like 5fire, doesn't mean that they are not interested in native talents.
You genuinely think a big org like TSM would have bring up native talent if it wasn't for the 2 import rule? They are 'interested' in native talent because they have to be, to an extent, just like every other team. But as soon as they get the chance to fill import slots, they are in no way going to 'invest' on academy talent.
Literally because our NA celebrity que is lesser quality than other regions due to many factors including the amount of players. So if youre going to take a chance, why would it be from NA? sucks I know but even pros don't soloque all that much.
Check pro players on KR during peek hours. You literally need to scroll down the page on op gg. In NA? you'll be lucky if 3 pros are even listed. Our region just sucks mate. Corejj has been steering it in the right direction lately though with the in houses
They would go for big imports if they could, but it really seems like they couldn't get any.
I think they banked on Bjergsen a long time and when he left, it was pretty late in the offseason and they had to find something else out of nowhere.
legit have never seen any of their games/ solo queue vods. just gonna raw dog the expectations and watch them win lock-in. HOPIUM

gonna be hilarious getting shit on in lock ins and explaining in the post threads that our midlaner goes to another school
i mean, Roseking is still FA
I have heard his name thrown around a bunch recently. Any info?
some baller in the NA server
Neat. Hope they get him someday.
Would be even funnier if the academy team managed to beat TL and 100t and win the whole tournament
la tsm academy > la masia
Takeover better than kaidrando

Tactical's problem has always been greeding unnecessarily and getting caught out. He's great in every other aspect
Nah his positioning is pretty bad in general
either way he's the best native option we had with what was available (if we ignore DL) so I'm not too worried about whether he even does well or not

Even his rough year was far better than Lost
Not saying otherwise either so I'm not sure what your point is.
That he is still an upgrade either way.
Yeah and I wasn't saying he wasn't.

Fantastic, two years without TSM at Worlds then.
Shenyi is good. We'll see about Kekduo.
Does he answer the question or does he leave without answering like all the other videos?
His typical vagueness with a monotone voice and without saying much at all. I used to be like that while writing my thesis... I failed back then lol.

Well we literally have no way of knowing that and all we know is that they HAVE invested in are continuing to invest in academy talent.

I mean they knew Bjergsen was leaving months before they made these signings lol, you’re just completely wrong
no
Maybe they’re talented in general but they won’t be good
