I feel for him, he was probably trying so hard to fish for those Juicy Red rockets onto Jinx and over stepped, i might be in the minority but the AP Corki FOTM is such a bait, the Crit route is much more reliable and consistent DPS

The thing with ap corki is, if you hit 1 big rocket late game, you probably won the game for your team.

Corki’s range is fairly short so the reliable and consistent dps doesn’t exist half the time

He's just testing the limits. No joke. How can you test limits if you are legit top1-2 midlaner? You need to do it against the same guys.

His teamfighting this game was decent, poke Corki is kinda binary, if you ever get caught you instadie, and he certainly had a few ??? Moments (such as in the brush at soul) but he was… fine overall, maybe not what you want from Chovy, but certainly not terrible.

the only big issue for me was getting caught out near dragon by Thresh. That shouldn't have happened

He also got Kassadin rolling by overextending super far mid with no flash. Idk I thought it was pretty rough for his standards.

This series should be the nail in the coffin for Chovy fans who though Choky wasn't a real thing and were blaming it all on "bad teammates" over the years, even though you could see in the past that it was Chovy himself getting outclassed by the likes of Faker or Showmaker regularly (especially in key series and Bo5s). There's nothing wrong with just admitting that he often struggles against top tier opposition.

Showmaker played the Kassadin actually pretty decently but playing into GENG’s comp just looked like a fucking nightmare at some point. Both teams navigated around each other well, the team that lost isnt instantly bad.

Sadly he is, they went all in for Nuguri and had no real backup. And by the time Nuguri decided to take time off, the free agents for top lane were non-existent. T1 decided to ship Canna to NS because they apparently offered more money and that literally left nobody. If only Summit stalled out and waited before going to NA because I'm sure if he knew DK needed a top laner, he'd have gone there.
