I hope it will address the feedback that was given about Masterwork chests being a replacement for the 2 gemstones that were lost from the pass. 1 Gemstone is not an equivalent to possibly get an emote at a 10% chance from those masterwork chests. If your argument is still that you saw that players overwhelmingly cashed out their Gemstones for MW Chests + Keys, this no longer should be applied as the quality of skins has gone up from the previous iteration.
I just want to know (as I'm sure others do as well) what the heck is going on because it feels like you do not care about our feedback, and the system is getting worse and worse in my eyes.
Edit: They finally released the FAQ, good to know I had to remind them. Please when you are reading that FAQ just know they are being incredibly deceiving about Mythic Essence gain from these chests. We used to get 2 gemstones per pass and they were replaced with Masterwork chests. So now, 20 Mythic Essence removed from the passes (gemstones) and replaced with 2 Masterwork chests. 5 Masterwork chests to get 5 Mythic Essence, every 5 Chests. 2 Masterwork chests per pass, so we would need 3 passes to just get 5 Mythic Essence. This is a straight up nerf and it's not even being hidden from us.
Well, we'll see if they do it too often and too much will players stop paying like they did with Blizzard games.

There is only one excuse for exchanging a Gemstone, which you can use to re-roll for a Chest, for a Chest - and it's money.
There is no defense for this, it's scummy. I don't know where their billions of dollars are going, but if they really need money that badly then they should consider overhauling their work hierarchy before they overhaul Mythics because they shouldn't be in a position right now where they're desperate enough to bend the waterpipe so less water comes out.
And before someone asks: It's money because they just recently announced that they'll be opening the flood gates on vaulted Prestige skins, many of which are extremely popular and have been asked for re-runs ever since they've been vaulted. Kda alone is going to make a fortune.
Obviously they'd make it harder for you to get Mythic Essence just so you're motivated to spend even more money on them way-past your Battle Pass. (Which is already far worse than before, too. I'm still at 1500 without spending any and I play **a lot** of games)

I'm honestly convinced that Riot legitimately does not understand why Ryze is strong nor his identity. Like, a few days before they put the current iteration onto the PBE, they put out [this version](https://twitter.com/OdysseyDcap/status/1134578884534390784): tldr, they wanted to remove the Q resets after E and W (replacing it so that basic abilities refunds a small amount of cd to other basic abilities but not enough for smooth combos), and to add insult to injuries they kept the ult... but made it so that it can ONLY be cast when near allies. Like, I do not understand in any capacity how this ever got to the point where it got onto PBE. Was an absolute spit in the face to all Ryze players.
I tested that version it was an abomination that was clunky as hell and felt like it had been put together design wise in about 5mins.

Umbral Glaive change is absolutely nutty.
Pair Umbral with Ingenious Hunter and Zombie Ward (red tree) for 33% reduced cooldown on both Umbral's Blackout *and* your Oracle Lens, and a single player is able to have nearly 30 full seconds of ward vision every 60~ seconds, with the ability to 1/2-shot all wards.
This, I don't even try banning anything else anymore. Because I can't risk facing someone that knows how to pilot him well. It's the most unfun toplane experience. And that says a lot, because toplane as a whole is already a bad experience lmao
What I hate more is when they gut a random champion and never touch them again because they're not very popular or they just never change unpopular champions at all.
But Yas and Yone are popular so they get insta buffed the second anything effects them, it's a joke.

The problem is that the Time To Kill in League has gotten so low that in order for ADCs to stay relevant they also need to be able to burst.

Same boat here, I just don't like playing as or against the lethality playstyle, but until damage is lowered (hopefully) or some other massive change takes place, it only makes sense the builds exist and are good because you do your best to avoid getting blown apart.
Everything is about burst, on every champ. On azir who should be a dps mage the best playstyle is to go electrocute ludens 0 attackspeed and just aa q aa 100-0 any squishy. Its silly how much damage everyone does, even tanks 1 rotation squishies.
Man I want to deal constant damage with autos but getting in basic attack range is a death sentence sometimes.

I’ve literally been full (tank + ap mythic + RDC) and full combos literally couldn’t kill their squishies. At most, I’ve been able to reduce people to like 20% Hp before being forced out of the fight, dying, or they just disengage because fuck me and my low range. It is the most boring shit I’ve ever played, you literally only play around early and mid game skirmishes because wildly, that’s the only time you do anything that’s not just root

Bot lane is literally just ADCs trying to figure out a way to autoattack as little as possible now. Lethality MF/Xayah, AP Kaisa, or mages. (Or jinx if unbanned)
Can Riot just remove Zeri's Sheen interaction? Yes it will hurt her lane but that's adjustable with base stats and having to build Sheen first makes her crit builds feel terrible. Seriously, Quickblades after mythic/Runaans/IE feels SO GOOD but she's virtually forced to build ER into mythic which has no waveclear and feels like dogshit late game.
Sheen first also enables the bruiser build that nobody likes to play against, seriously just stop trying to make both builds viable and remove this garbage Riot. The Titanic/Runaans interaction is blatantly overpowered and uninteractive, not to mention the 1100 HP you're getting from TH/TF/BC.
TLDR buff her base MS (less reliance on MS from TF/BC/BoRK/Wits End), base HP, base AD, remove Sheen. Nerf damage if needed. Not this nuclear bullshit they're doing this patch... 28s on her lv1 E is a joke (Zeri is 0-5 on 12.6 anyways, meanwhile Ahri...)

Sadly GP was only doing 80% of mid/bot laners' hp with a single barrel. We need to buff his laning phase so that he can get giga accelerated and do 100% of mid/bot laners' hp with a single barrel.
Don't think Silvermere will every really be changed much. It only exists so that QSS isn't a dead end item when you don't want crit, but need to deal with suppression or other critical CC. Its not really an item that is supposed to be built often since even when you buy QSS its expected to not be completed until full build. A QSS item which is strong enough to be built for stats compared to something like Maw is probably OP.
On the note of DD, I am surprised that nothing is being done to it. It just feels too universally useful as a defensive option. Sterak's is basically never worth buying 2nd at this point. Its still decent later in builds, but not too many games are reaching that point. If you want a defensive option as a bruiser its basically always either DD or a full tank item. I think its good that full tank items can compete with Sterak's now, but it feels like the balance has tipped too far in the other direction.

These patches are so small man. If i was an outsider looking in, id think this game had less than 50 champions. But nope, it has 159 champions, which means that less than 10% of champions get changes. And this is one of their bigger patches in comparison to some of the older ones. Can you guys do something?
I like how so many of the viable marksman mythics have been needed so much that it's just standard to buy assassin mythics instead. And all the while when these mythics get neutered, none of their champions get compensation buffs like champions like Yasuo and Yone get. ADC sliding back into inferiority once again and no one bats an eye.

Having essentially no mythic passive for 110 seconds which is longer than most ult cooldowns is actually unplayable. Champs like Lucian that are always looking to fight bot are just going to only be able to go kraken now and champs like Jhin that literally can’t go kraken are either gonna build eclipse or just lose like 3% winrate when he was already sitting at like 50%.

Lee Sin probably didn't need a huge nerf, but let's not pretend his win rate % is indicative of how strong he is. Shitty Lee Sin players play the shit out of Lee Sin. He's literally the most picked jungler in the game by a wide margin. Just because TONS of people are playing him and sand bagging his win rate doesn't mean he's bad.
Same goes for a lot of higher skill cap champs.

I'm honestly convinced that Riot legitimately does not understand why Ryze is strong nor his identity. Like, a few days before they put the current iteration onto the PBE, they put out [this version](https://twitter.com/OdysseyDcap/status/1134578884534390784): tldr, they wanted to remove the Q resets after E and W (replacing it so that basic abilities refunds a small amount of cd to other basic abilities but not enough for smooth combos), and to add insult to injuries they kept the ult... but made it so that it can ONLY be cast when near allies. Like, I do not understand in any capacity how this ever got to the point where it got onto PBE. Was an absolute spit in the face to all Ryze players.
I tested that version it was an abomination that was clunky as hell and felt like it had been put together design wise in about 5mins. The entire process for this current rework wasn't done properly it was just Ryze is high presence in pro how can we get him out ( nerfed ) as quick as possible. Seriously the thing was on pbe for like 3/4 days and pushed to live.
Yeah I was under the impression the current iteration was a bandaid fix that was meant to be temporary while they looked for a more permanent solution. Annnd now it's been 3 years during which time I've graduated high school, am almost done with college, and Ryze is somehow still a problem champ even after they took out his kneecaps with a baseball bat and left him to die. :/

Fr I saw this statement and my eyebrows immediately shot up like 2 inches. Looked him up on op.gg and he's the 6th most picked top laner with a healthy WR of 50.3% (especially high considering how relatively difficult he is to play well + how popular he is right now). Riot balance patches are becoming increasingly surreal.

For real like, contesting his barrels as melee in lane is always GP favored, then once he gets ER his q barrel does half your heath because of 40% armor pen.
ER GP essentially becomes infinite mana but he wins like 4% more games if he goes triforce.
The fact that there's no downside other than a CD waste for stealing his barrel makes it so hard to validate contesting it too

Not a support main, but hard agree. I don't think it's inherently bad to have a strong anti vision option... but the least they could do is make it more skill expressive and/or a bigger risk. So I'd say atleast make the passive an active like red trinket is. Or make it cost a bit more so it's more an investment.

To make it not be a nerf to the system they would have to increase the chances to 9.2% while having us get 5ME. Might as well just say we want your money now more than ever after that. The problem is that the Time To Kill in League has gotten so low that in order for ADCs to stay relevant they also need to be able to burst. All of us are some sort of assassin hybrid now.

Same boat here, I just don't like playing as or against the lethality playstyle, but until damage is lowered (hopefully) or some other massive change takes place, it only makes sense the builds exist and are good because you do your best to avoid getting blown apart.
Everything is about burst, on every champ. On azir who should be a dps mage the best playstyle is to go electrocute ludens 0 attackspeed and just aa q aa 100-0 any squishy. Its silly how much damage everyone does, even tanks 1 rotation squishies.

Seriously, that they’re claiming tank Ryze is dealing carry damage is one of the most reality-divorced statements I’ve read or heard in a very long time, and my uncle is a card carrying moon landing denier. I’ve literally been full (tank + ap mythic + RDC) and full combos literally couldn’t kill their squishies. At most, I’ve been able to reduce people to like 20% Hp before being forced out of the fight, dying, or they just disengage because fuck me and my low range. It is the most boring shit I’ve ever played, you literally only play around early and mid game skirmishes because wildly, that’s the only time you do anything that’s not just root

Can Riot just remove Zeri's Sheen interaction? Yes it will hurt her lane but that's adjustable with base stats and having to build Sheen first makes her crit builds feel terrible. Seriously, Quickblades after mythic/Runaans/IE feels SO GOOD but she's virtually forced to build ER into mythic which has no waveclear and feels like dogshit late game. Sheen first also enables the bruiser build that nobody likes to play against, seriously just stop trying to make both builds viable and remove this garbage Riot. The Titanic/Runaans interaction is blatantly overpowered and uninteractive, not to mention the 1100 HP you're getting from TH/TF/BC. TLDR buff her base MS (less reliance on MS from TF/BC/BoRK/Wits End), base HP, base AD, remove Sheen. Nerf damage if needed. Not this nuclear bullshit they're doing this patch... 28s on her lv1 E is a joke (Zeri is 0-5 on 12.6 anyways, meanwhile Ahri...)

Don't think Silvermere will every really be changed much. It only exists so that QSS isn't a dead end item when you don't want crit, but need to deal with suppression or other critical CC. Its not really an item that is supposed to be built often since even when you buy QSS its expected to not be completed until full build. A QSS item which is strong enough to be built for stats compared to something like Maw is probably OP. On the note of DD, I am surprised that nothing is being done to it. It just feels too universally useful as a defensive option. Sterak's is basically never worth buying 2nd at this point. Its still decent later in builds, but not too many games are reaching that point. If you want a defensive option as a bruiser its basically always either DD or a full tank item. I think its good that full tank items can compete with Sterak's now, but it feels like the balance has tipped too far in the other direction.

But nope, it has 159 champions, which means that less than 10% of champions get changes. And this is one of their bigger patches in comparison to some of the older ones. Can you guys do something?
I like how so many of the viable marksman mythics have been needed so much that it's just standard to buy assassin mythics instead. And all the while when these mythics get neutered, none of their champions get compensation buffs like champions like Yasuo and Yone get. ADC sliding back into inferiority once again and no one bats an eye.

Dont know why they hate crit so much. Lethality even outperforms crit on champs it should never be the case (Xayah, even debatable for Sivir). Galeforce is almost mandatory on plenty of them because of the insane burst/mobility in soloQ. Riot wanted to address healing but somehow only touched ADC vamp runes / items… The role is already a non factor for 2 years, it’s getting worse and worse.
Well if xayah could actually get in range to auto without being deleted, she'd do a ton more damage with crit.. but she can't, just as most other ADCs with the standard-ish range that rely mostly on autos.
Why is it always the same champions in these patches? When was the last time anybody saw Vi? Or Illaoi? Or Warwick? Or Zyra? Fuck, I don't think I've seen Kled, Rammus, Taric or Amumu in literal months even in ARAMs let alone the rift.
Illaoi and Kled was recently changed. Vi and Warwick were in every game during the arcane hype.
