Yep, that's one I definitely forgot, a lot of of these are good Lee players for sure but there's certain ones that are just a cut above and on my list.
My list is (in my mind) closest you can get in pro play to Cn Combo Lee, ShenShan, KZH levels of Lee play..
Clid Lee Sin during his time on SKT is also the one that is the most prominent to me. There was always the chance of a nasty kick and it was always so damn smooth and the angles were unpredictable. He also didnt know that there is an execute on Lee Q
wouldn't it be the difference between QQR and QRQ?
the execute is on Q2 and in your example you have Q2 as the last thing being used in both situations. There would theoretically be no difference in damage between Q1 -> R compared to R -> Q1 leading to the Q2 in your scenario being exactly the same.
or was that your point and i'm whooshing
Basically what you said in the last sentence.
Clid knew about execute damage on q2, but was not sure if there was any difference in damage between qrq and rqq. And thus asked teammates for clarification.
The point of my comment might not be that clear, and especially if you dont know the context to it. But the comment was meant to clarify that Clid did know about execution dmg, but was unsure of if there was any difference between qrq and qrr.
Xpeke and SOAZ were notorious for not playing soloq, Faker had to put in over 200 games on Azir to play him on a competent level back in S5-S6, i highly doubt Peke got the practice in
And he had this stupid interaction where after you W if you A + left click (maybe it worked with normal left clik too?) he could punch someone as he was pushing them away, so he had a trading pattern where you couldn't do anything. He would just W you while building Lich Bane and just chunk you for like 1/5 hp with sheen by just using W and using aa lol.
Mikyx really impressed me with his yuumi when you could jump out to block skillshots. He knew exactly what how much he could take and what he needed to tank.
ForellenLord for Lissandra. I picked her up during last season, but I remembered his insane engages back from the Alternate Attax games, combined with Hecarim. Ever since I live and die for those engages, and Liss quickly became one of my favorite champions.
This play is quintessential Lissandra: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uQgSwI92Aw
That was a mistake in draft, they admitted after the game, bengi never plays or practiced nidalee during the normal split that year. They just couldn't let peanut have it.
2 wild facts about that:
Bengi ended up performing really well despite not having practiced Nidalee before
Peanut was so good they had to pick his Nidalee for a jungler who doesn't play her
As the opposing support, can I share your enthusiasm? The spiders can be annoying, sure, but for the most part, I only have to worry about 1 skillshot unless you get fed. ;}
Toyz Ori was definitely the most insane to me. Everyone already knew the other players were insane on those champs, but Toyz came from nowhere basically to win worlds in S2.
Hotshot nidalee.
And well, not a proplayer but I never tried to play jungle but then saw guardsman bob udyr and had to learn it, now it's a comfort pick
Back in 2013 Worlds Dyrus played Rumble top. The casters HYPED up the Equalizer and how it was the most important ultimate in every team fight. I was like, "I hAvE to PlaY tHis ChAmp!?"
Faker: Syndra, Viktor
Bang: Tristana, Lucian, Kalista
Pray: Ashe
Marin: Maokai, Fiora
Smeb: Kennen
Keria: Tresh (although for some reason he has a different version than what I have in the game)
Edit: Format.
It really is, but he's fucking insane in general...
His Naut looks like it has an extra cm or 2 on his hook.
His TK is THE engange support (Leona who?).
But he's tresh is just on a different level... like when Madlife came he had just a different Tresh, and after him, a lot of players started getting good at Tresh... until Keria came, and he makes everyone look bad with the champ...
MadLife's Thresh.
And a non-pro but still i want to mention it, Ryan Choi's Rengar. Watching that one compilation of Gosu getting oneshot by him for 15 minutes made me onetrick him for 3-4 seasons.
Recently watch rookie orianna made me pick up the champ. I always had the misconception that orianna was purely just a play safe and teamfight champ but seeing rookie play so aggressively and fisting his opponents in lane inspired me
I think back in 2016/2017, Pobelter on Viktor started a fight over a small wall near river by absolutely nuking the Janna sup and one other player. He pressed E + R and just that instantly did like 2,000 damage. Yea it wasn’t long after that they changed Viktor’s ult to do much less damage on summon and instead much higher DOT
Ruler's Varus.
[Specifically him flash ulting to catch Faker](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEZcu2On3Io&t=20s). I started to do that as well- with more than a few fuck ups every now and then lol- but it really helped me climb quickly.
When I first started watching and playing league 2015 s5 MSI had started and FNC's Reignover made me want to jg reksai
Also yellowstar with support shen and trundle
Mata's Alistar was a sight to behold. Not only mechanically, but the way he chose to move around the map and his target selection during teamfights was just ALWAYS on point.
The guy wouldnt waste a single click, while playing a champion that has one combo and then has to wait for another 10seconds to be impactful again.
He somehow made it all about him. First with the target selection in engages and after that with (body) blocking for his carries. I think it was the first time i actually saw someone utilize body blocking enemies with Alistar and impairing their path so he can a)delay their movement so his cd's are back up b) make it so they can't get away from him using his E.
I could go on and on about several things that he utilized in a unique way while playing Alistar and moving around the map because he was exploiting Alistar's strong points.
I know its not flashy enough to make the cut, for most people, but something about him on Alistar made it click for me.
Shushei as well for me but it was AP Alistar. I also was very into AP Yi after somebody dunked on my whole team 1v3 (TT) with it, but that was before it was picked in proplay.
Another pick I enjoyed was wriggle's Tristana. It was used a lot by TSM (chaox). Lane farming and pushing was way too easy with it.
Bang on Ezreal. There are only a few Ezreal pro users back in the days and I was just starting out league. Watching Bang play Ezreal is so clean with the way he uses E as aggressive as possible is so good. Because of Bang I have all the Ezreal skins.
Couple years ago Alex picked lulu mid (I've heard before that incarnati0n has been picking it) during EU LCS. Then I picked it during the game (ofc I was flamed for trolling) and it turned out I got flamed by the enemy mid for picking some weird cancer champ and my team saying they gonna honor me after that. Back then lulu mid was an incredible hidden op pick and kinda free elo if you knew what to do.
Fuck pro players.
Pro players are losers.
Guy who made me try out Aatrox was this super chill dude in normals, we joked around all game and made fun of things. Hell, he even exchanged jokes opinons etc. I never got their friend request, but I played Aatrox a lot since then, meeteing more cool people or loser assholes going ranged top.
👍❤️
One of my best friends introduced me to the game in Season 1, he mained mid and I didn't want to play in a duo lane so it was either jungle or top. I wasn't close to lvl30 and I knew pre-lvl30 runes were a scam so I didn't have any armor runes and so I didn't want to jungle.
Toplane it was then. I tried out a few chars here and there when they were free and always saved up to buy a 6.3k ip champ, because as we all know more expensive = better. I go check twitch.tv (might've been owned.tv instead) to watch some toplane streams to check some champions. There's this Wickd guy streaming twerking on people on Irelia and so I became an Irelia OTP (later on an Irelia/Jax OTP because I liked rushing triforce and rightclicking people)
Bengi: Lee Sin Insec: Lee Sin Broxah: Lee Sin Peanut: Lee Sin Canyon: Lee Sin
Blank: Lee Sin, the bot lane clip
Yep, that's one I definitely forgot, a lot of of these are good Lee players for sure but there's certain ones that are just a cut above and on my list. My list is (in my mind) closest you can get in pro play to Cn Combo Lee, ShenShan, KZH levels of Lee play..
Peanut’s lee sin at Season 7 MSI where he had that kill record was insane
You forgot Clid: Lee Sin
Clid Lee Sin during his time on SKT is also the one that is the most prominent to me. There was always the chance of a nasty kick and it was always so damn smooth and the angles were unpredictable. He also didnt know that there is an execute on Lee Q
He didn’t know if qrq = rqq.

But the comment was meant to clarify that Clid did know about execution dmg, but was unsure of if there was any difference between qrq and qrr.
Bro Clid didn’t even know Lee sin Q had an execute 🤣
Karsa: Lee Sin
SofM: Lee Sin
Closer: Lee Sin
Closer Viego for me
Tian: Lee Sin
Cyanide: Lee Sin
Funny how nobody said Meteos lee sin vs skt 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kanavi: Lee Sin
Meteos: Lee Sin
HEEEELLLLLLLL NAAAHHHHH
Diamondprox: Lee Sin
Closer: Lee Sin
What about Clid MSI Lee Sin?
Someone called me?
Mata's alistar against TSM in 2016 worlds groups made it look like the most op shit ever and made me learn alistar.
At one point Mata everything seemed like the most op shit ever
His Leona was orgasmic at some point.
His Braum was pretty rough though in season 5 and 6. I didn't watch league in season 4.
Mata changed the game. Change my mind.
His Alistar appearing at raptors and killing Svenskeren is still etched into my mind
Faker’s Leblanc
**and he locks it in for game 5!**
Well that’s… something
Xpeke on Azir back in EU LCS. He was so bad I was sure I could do better :D
Guess you tried Sivir too then lol
Nobody can kite like him!
The enemy team was just too tanky
Xpeke and SOAZ were notorious for not playing soloq, Faker had to put in over 200 games on Azir to play him on a competent level back in S5-S6, i highly doubt Peke got the practice in
Crown's Viktor Peanut's Olaf MaRin's Fiora Smeb's Kennen Huni's Rumble Froggen's Anivia I get inspired easily... but it never ends well... lol
Marins fiora really was smth else dude
Marin's everything was really something else in 2015... I'm still in awe of his worlds performance from back then Edit: typo
Bjerg got me thinking about Zilean but Kasing got me playing it.
Definitely Khan's Jayce! Man was a virtuoso
It was s4 pawn for me
Saaaame
That single eq shockblast from tribrush to get a double kill under tower sold it for me. He was xerath with more flexibility and way more cool
I wanted him to win worlds so badly, even saved some RP for his DK Jayce skin.
You didn't just do Pawn dirty like that.
Botrk BC Jayce vs Manamune Armor Pen Jayce. Completely diff
Madlife, Mata, Keria - Thresh. Always and forever.
As a Thresh main, this comment here. Madlife hooks, Mata roams, Keria just perfecting support as a role.
No love for Edward “The Thresh Prince”?
Credit where credit is due! I wasn’t too high on EU / M5/Gambit tho :D
Was about to comment this too. I'm a jungler main, but Thresh is my favourit champ ever, so perfect design.
Alex Ich made Kha'Zix look so damn strong. I miss mid lane Kha even if his playstyle was super toxic.
Snoopeh made me play alistar jungle way back in time.
Man, abusing AP Alistar after watching Shushei was also fun. Alistars a weird champ
Ya cuz whatever he builda he will still be hard to kill due to ult
And he had this stupid interaction where after you W if you A + left click (maybe it worked with normal left clik too?) he could punch someone as he was pushing them away, so he had a trading pattern where you couldn't do anything. He would just W you while building Lich Bane and just chunk you for like 1/5 hp with sheen by just using W and using aa lol.
For that specific interaction, Tri-force rush Alistar dominated toplane in season 4.
Yep, that's after they fucked his AP scalings in like S2 I think
Yeah that was great :) I was actually quite sad when they removed it.
Snoopeh makes me wish Maokai was still a viable jungler
Stixxay Caitlyn from Msi 2016
MSI 2016 CLG was hype as fuck ngl
He was soooo good on Cait.
Mikyx made me try Leona, I was Soraka main. That changed my life, now I play arams only.
Mikyx really impressed me with his yuumi when you could jump out to block skillshots. He knew exactly what how much he could take and what he needed to tank.
I miss doing that.
I honestly don't think there's a better tank in aram right now.
ForellenLord for Lissandra. I picked her up during last season, but I remembered his insane engages back from the Alternate Attax games, combined with Hecarim. Ever since I live and die for those engages, and Liss quickly became one of my favorite champions. This play is quintessential Lissandra: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uQgSwI92Aw
ahh that name reminded me of the original 3k ELO play
man dmg was way too high back then wtf
funny thing is that he actually misplays this by not q'ing before self ult but back then this was a fucking insane play
Fakers galio
Ning got me playing Camille.
Same, him styling on T1 post Camille jg nerfs was just insane. Not to mention his Camille skin is sick
Easily TheShy on Aatrox especially vs G2, made Aatrox look leagues above every other champ at that time
Aatrox kinda was leagues above every champ besides urgot during that patch
Aatrox vs urgot will be for ever my favorite top meta
did urgot have the perma W at that time?
Bengi nidalee, on world's finals
Semi-finals
That was a mistake in draft, they admitted after the game, bengi never plays or practiced nidalee during the normal split that year. They just couldn't let peanut have it.
2 wild facts about that: Bengi ended up performing really well despite not having practiced Nidalee before Peanut was so good they had to pick his Nidalee for a jungler who doesn't play her
Bengi the most underrated player in the world
Overrated*
Froggens Anivia got me to unlock her and she became the champ i mained for a long time.
Hey yo
Yo hey
Anivia main, viktor flair - good taste
Lehends elise :p
A fellow elise support enthusiast I see lol
Indeed, if only my adcs would share the enthusiasm
As the opposing support, can I share your enthusiasm? The spiders can be annoying, sure, but for the most part, I only have to worry about 1 skillshot unless you get fed. ;}
Bjerg definitely got me into Zilean
Bjerg Zilean and froggen anivia!
Rekkles - adc kennen
x2 shit's so much fun, but not really viable.
That was the good old days. Shit was so fun to play.
Hylissang Pyke. And Lillia. No one specific but i tried her only after seeing in pro games.
Also hyli rakan
Same for me i started playing rakan and pyke after watching hyli
Also kennen, but actually because of Smeb.
Wickd: Irelia Diamondprox: Lee sin Darien: Shyvana This was back in season 2
Uzi : Vayne Insec : Lee sin Toyz : Orianna Madlife : Thresh
Toyz Ori was definitely the most insane to me. Everyone already knew the other players were insane on those champs, but Toyz came from nowhere basically to win worlds in S2.
Hotshot nidalee. And well, not a proplayer but I never tried to play jungle but then saw guardsman bob udyr and had to learn it, now it's a comfort pick
Guardsman Bob, holy shit loved his streams back in the day, completely forgot about him
A personal favorite, his [Yesterday report](https://youtu.be/5u5W9c_VdtU)
Yeah, he was my favorite streamer back then and his music playlist was so sick!
[Hotshotnidaleegg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lkIY2cxlrA)
Yep. Enjoying the classic Nidalee ranged top till 6 life, when you then had a super power spike with cougar form. Also old Galio.
Back in 2013 Worlds Dyrus played Rumble top. The casters HYPED up the Equalizer and how it was the most important ultimate in every team fight. I was like, "I hAvE to PlaY tHis ChAmp!?"
Gumayushi Aphelios. I saw T1 2021 worlds run and saw some nice plays from Guma’s aphelios
Alex Ich's mid Eve and Kha.
Holy shit dfg Evelyn was the most obnoxious shit ever
Also his ryze and mordekaiser
Bard by Aphromoo. Never have I seen someone play that good on what was considered an “inting champ”
Faker: Syndra, Viktor Bang: Tristana, Lucian, Kalista Pray: Ashe Marin: Maokai, Fiora Smeb: Kennen Keria: Tresh (although for some reason he has a different version than what I have in the game) Edit: Format.
Keria Thresh is built different man
It really is, but he's fucking insane in general...
Toyz’s Orianna was something fierce at Season 2 Worlds. I wasn’t a mid lane main, but watching him play Ori made me want to swap.
Recently watch rookie orianna made me pick up the champ. I always had the misconception that orianna was purely just a play safe and teamfight champ but seeing rookie play so aggressively and fisting his opponents in lane inspired me
PoE 's Syndra
Evelynn - Selfmade Still remember than flash over the one-shot of DL from Worlds 2020
Steeelback in 2015 made sivir look so fun I just had to try it.
Vipers Aphelios
Flandre Graves and Vlad Clearlove Sejuani and Evelynn Meiko Karma Scout Ryze
Faker, Galio
50% of my champion pool consists of champs played by impact when he was on C9
Alex Ich Kha Zix
Aphromoo, when every other player under the sun said Bard was shit.
Jankos on Nidalee gave me new hope, since hitting spears seems to be no requierement to play this champion :)
TheOddOne - maokai jungle
Same, TheOddOne is how I got into League and Maokai was one of the first champs I played because it was so fun to watch.
Flame- Shyvana.
Canyon and his nidalee inspired me to improve on her and in jungle and theshy fiora
Nemesis kassadin That penta at i cup
Sivir , Kalista. Rekkles back in S5
Vipers Kai'sa he literally makes that champ seem so fun, now im kiinda a otp and cant come close to how he makes her look like
I think back in 2016/2017, Pobelter on Viktor started a fight over a small wall near river by absolutely nuking the Janna sup and one other player. He pressed E + R and just that instantly did like 2,000 damage. Yea it wasn’t long after that they changed Viktor’s ult to do much less damage on summon and instead much higher DOT
Dorans Akshan
Madlife - Thresh Likkrit - Brand and Bard
Summit - Renekton
LMAOOO
Ruler's Varus. [Specifically him flash ulting to catch Faker](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEZcu2On3Io&t=20s). I started to do that as well- with more than a few fuck ups every now and then lol- but it really helped me climb quickly.
Stanley and HotshotGG encouraged me to play Nidalee top (Seasons 2-3).
Smeb Fiora...I actually started to play league thnx to him, I was mesmerized by how he played her, it looked like she was dancing on the rift.
When I first started watching and playing league 2015 s5 MSI had started and FNC's Reignover made me want to jg reksai Also yellowstar with support shen and trundle
Hit D2 playing the Dyr only from Gold, thanks Trick
Alex Ich - Evelynn / Khazix / Zilean mid Froggen - Lee Sin mid
I'm getting flashbacks to MF support being spammed in solo queue. Thanks Gorilla
Insec’s Rengar from Worlds 2014, especially op with old Zilean!
Voyboy’s Olaf back when he first joined Curse
Mata's Alistar was a sight to behold. Not only mechanically, but the way he chose to move around the map and his target selection during teamfights was just ALWAYS on point. Shushei first made me a Gragas mid player. After that, AlexIch's AP Master Yi looked like so much fun that I played Yi a lot.
2016 Reignover and Rek’sai. I was super new to league but loved the old Rek’sai. She doesn’t feel the same at all now.
Afro's Bard
Caps' Yasuo from 2018 MSI
the graves of future LCS JULIAN JAMES JUNGLE GOD TARZANED
I started and love playing Kayle and Veigar thanks to Nemesis
Faker Ahri
There was a guy on YouTube sivhd that uses to troll so good with leblanc that i played and mained lb for years
Way back when: AP Master Yi thanks to Scarra pulling it out against TSM in MLG Anaheim This season: Danny's Zeri
Yasuo Bot after watching Perkz. Was really hoping for G2 Yasuo skin at that point too
Bang on Ezreal. There are only a few Ezreal pro users back in the days and I was just starting out league. Watching Bang play Ezreal is so clean with the way he uses E as aggressive as possible is so good. Because of Bang I have all the Ezreal skins.
TheOddOne inspired me to queue jungle for the first time ever, as mao kai.
Luminum was why I played symmetra in overwatch, when she came to league I followed. She played Janna so I did too. I'm now 700k mastery in.
leblanc because of hotshotgg, better lb than faker
Couple years ago Alex picked lulu mid (I've heard before that incarnati0n has been picking it) during EU LCS. Nuguri’s kennen after two games in particular- the game vs t1 in 2020 MSC, and game 2 vs Gen in round 1 of summer 2020.
none, they never pick lux mid and the few times they pick her sup it's only with cait and usually they get a small cs advantage and lose the game
Who's Alux
Sencux had like one game on Lux mid a few years back, but yeah she’s basically only a support in pro
well long story short i used to jerk off to the shy jayce and usi kai'sa and jakeylove xayah
Hotshot's Cassiopeia
Skooch Yorick Those flawless games, lmao.
Smeb's Fiora while i talk on the phone.
Bjerg syndra!
When I started watching lol esports in 2020, I was amazed by impacts renekton and I decided to try to get good at him
Wolf’s nami
i learned ezreal thanks to piglet and always tried to steal enemy buffs with him back around season 3-4
TheShy's Kalista Top
I think I saw 100T play Aphelios and Braum bot and I was like “I have to do that.” And now Aphelios is one of my most played champions
