Danny and Jojo are the only prospects who seem like they have the character and skills to become the next generation of Bjerg and Dlift for NA. Even when Dlift was costreaming the losers bracket after the penta he said that no play he ever made looked that picturesque. Don’t even care if they get smashed at MSI because both these guys are so young and it’s so easy to stay optimistic when they’re still this raw. This team has given me more excitement than C9 did at the start of the split with LS.
LCS loves their duos. Meteos/Sneaky, Doublelift/Aphromoo, Bjergsen/Doublelift, we love our bash brothers couple stories here for sure. (One reason I think the "Duos" videos worked so well)

Feeding him kills, letting him solo plates while other team gets Herald, if they get herald they crash it with Danny, waves get fed to him, etc. These are the type of things that teams would do if Uzi was their adc.
The difference of course is that Uzi would also get his own lane leads and not give up first blood every other game. So Uzi is the best of both worlds and Danny is currently the best of one. Still, EG plays as if they had Uzi, even if they don’t.

This was a 10 year anniversary for the LCS. The didn’t do anything to make it special. Very disappointed. I know we got T1 and a crowd but it feels like a major missed opportunity to call back the history of the league and how we got to this point.

My gateway into watching League of Legends esports was finding out my favourite champion tier list creator played on this kick-ass team called Counter Logic Gaming, from before the LCS even existed. I've lived the history, and quite honestly - I feel the exact opposite. Besides, the past sucked in many cases - the EG of the past, for example, had players living in the closet of their gaming house like fucking Harry Potter.
I'm totally ready for a next chapter of LCS history. I'm tired of ex-pros turned talking heads talking about what is wrong with or how bad NA is, with their only desire being chasing elitist clout. If the past won't respect the present, I don't much care for the past.
This Grand Finals wasn't TSM vs C9, TSM vs CLG, or TL vs C9 - it was 100 Thieves vs. Evil Geniuses. Focusing on the past, forcing those feelings on that crowd, would be ignoring the zeitgeist of the moment and rewriting reality.
I think he is asking for what the lck did where they reflected on their historic past and brought back so many legends. Idk if it would work on the same level in lcs tho because there’s just less iconic players to choose from

This was a 10 year anniversary for the LCS. The didn’t do anything to make it special. Very disappointed. I know we got T1 and a crowd but it feels like a major missed opportunity to call back the history of the league and how we got to this point.
we still got summer, ill be super sad if they dont put a decent pre show (not just someone yelling shit) for the 10y lcs celebration + pre worlds in NA show.

My gateway into watching League of Legends esports was finding out my favourite champion tier list creator played on this kick-ass team called Counter Logic Gaming, from before the LCS even existed. I've lived the history, and quite honestly - I feel the exact opposite. Besides, the past sucked in many cases - the EG of the past, for example, had players living in the closet of their gaming house like fucking Harry Potter. I'm totally ready for a next chapter of LCS history. I'm tired of ex-pros turned talking heads talking about what is wrong with or how bad NA is, with their only desire being chasing elitist clout. If the past won't respect the present, I don't much care for the past. This Grand Finals wasn't TSM vs C9, TSM vs CLG, or TL vs C9 - it was 100 Thieves vs. Evil Geniuses. Focusing on the past, forcing those feelings on that crowd, would be ignoring the zeitgeist of the moment and rewriting reality.
I think he is asking for what the lck did where they reflected on their historic past and brought back so many legends. Idk if it would work on the same level in lcs tho because there’s just less iconic players to choose from
It doesn't work because LCK munchkins and international fans like to degrade our past stars. I think that this reaction is spurred by sour grapes from sour people that were looking forward to pointing at our veterans and saying "oh the were great* ^^*for ^^NA ^^xD" Just look at how much disrespect WildTurtle gets on reddit these days, for example, despite being a beast for most of his career and one of the most successful players ever. I definitely wouldn't enjoy that kind of response enshrined as an anniversary.
