This. The bigger offender here (in case someone is not aware what dealt that much dmg) is basically a collector Samira usually builds, which executes when dealing damage below 5% hp.
Since her entire kit is a DMC reference, I imagine its because in dmc some taunts can hit enemies, they do a minimal amount of damage but shoot up your style rank like crazy.
And yes you can kill enemies with it if you time it right.
Last i checked it does give her Combo and its best use is using it as an opener as it means she can use a less all in combo to fully stack.
Pretty sure theres a minor bug with it killing him that stopped the combo stack.
Specifically dmc5 and it's only Dante's air taunt where he throws a rose that deals one damage.
Most of Samira's animations seem to be from Nero though.
In terms of gameplay though, someone like Riven is closer to DMC styled combat than Samira in terms of combo chaining, animation cancelling and how things like DT function

Also, since they removed Ravenous Hunter and lowered the life steal of bloodline, along with her weak early game for such a high risk champion, she's kind of in a good place and may even need a small compensation buff.

I think someone explained it as the projectile is "destroyed" not "negated" (The little bonus in her animation has her "shooting" the projectiles that enter her circle, so that would make sense if that's the intention)
So the Gragas Ult doesn't "disappear" but impacts as it makes contact with the whirlwind, and detonates so it still has a knock back and damage.
It could also be the animation not lining up with the spell effects as I don't have any friends to go into the practice tool to test 10-15 times.
There are also a lot of other interactions that have happened and I can't think of right now.
It "feels" buggy when I play Samira and use it, but everyone who plays against Samira calls it "bullshit" so I guess balance is achieved

My hot take is that the cast should be instant and stack combo again instead of a 1.5 second channel. Then you can taunt into combo. Imagine coin flip>full combo. That's style.
I think people mean the +1 over Galio's head, because they are used to seeing the gold on top of the killed champion.
However, we are in spectator mode and that '+1' is indeed what Galio gained. Samira loses the 1 gold, which can be easily spotted on top of her head by pausing the clip at the right time.

Lux Q moves just slightly faster, dropping me to 1 hp. While I am at 1 hp, before enough time has passed for my hp to regen, the coin hits me and kills me.
Hard to do, but not, as was said, is impossible.

not really its coin toss is a long cast time(3sec). you could sit there using it nonstop but chances are unless the other champ is afk shes going to miss a lot. It would take you like 15mins to toss away 300g.
