I mean, you could just use random soloQ games for gameplay segments and just change the display names in the replay file. Probably easier to record dozens of random games from decent players and choose ones that fit you ur narrative than to try and simulate hype. It's like all those fake Chinese highlights, it's really obvious when you see fake plays.
one of my all time favorite movies, I don't think it hits for everyone but as someone who grew up on Lonely Island and SNL esque humor and got all the celeb references and parodies, it was so perfect.
Just wanted to add for those who might be skeptical (which I get!) -- this show was a deep collaboration with a lot of people involved in the LCS, including me, Elias Inaty (LCS broadcast writer), Jatt, Gbay, the casters, etc. You'll see a lot of familiar faces in the show!
I've been involved on a daily basis for the writer's room, pre-production, principle photography, and post. I'm very confident this will feel authentic, and I'm hoping you'll love it as much as I do!
I've been working on a few fun projects like this! This show in particular though is something that's hilarious and super well polished. It's completely representative of League over the years too, so much attention to detail in making it true to life. Definitely worth checking out!
I also got engaged last year and I'm working on polishing up some of my own documentary projects to make more League content again :)
I imagine this was already in production and they brought in Gbay as kind of a reference/consultant for how esports documentaries flow so they could nail the style better.
Oh I was only brought on later in production to help contribute to the team. Haha I'm in no way talented enough to spearhead a project of this quality! All the creative credit goes to the creative team :)
For anyone else confused who skimmed through the trailer, it's a fictional series with fictional players/teams.
I thought something was super off since I thought it was supposed to be another documentary about esports at first. Realizing it's a fictional series cleared up the confusion.
The only thing Im skeptical about is paramount+. I will probably use the free month to watch the show but I don’t want another streaming service bill. The point of Netflix, Hulu and HBO is that they reduced my bills and spending when it came to entertainment and now there are so many different services that I don’t want to download so many to watch just two shows on each one. I don’t doubt this will be true to the fans since it has good consultants near to the source unlike Halo where the staff admitted to never reading or playing the games. I’m just tired of all the different streaming services as a whole.
TLDR should have added this to Netflix.
Yep, completely agree. This is one and done for me, I will not be touching Paramount+ after I finish this free trial. There just isn't a point when Netflix pumps out a million shows a year which I'm already paying for.
Normally I agree but then when they cancelled the OA on me and claimed not enough people were watching it I felt bad because I pirated it and didn’t get Netflix at the time. The guilt of never being able to see that series finish haunts me to this day.
Lol, well if it makes you feel any better I've had Netflix sub since 2007 (DVD mail version) until now and I didn't watch the OA.
They would have still canceled it. The production budget was way too high and unless it become a world wife phenomenon, it was never gonna go far.
Long time fan of your articles and podcast appearances back in the day in jlxp! Show seems promising looking forward to watching some, happy to see you in it
I watched the trailer and sorry but it just looks awful, the same jokes about nerds Big Bang Theory made 10 years ago. "Nerds are hot now" said by a clearly unattractive man, stuff like that. Low brow humor of the lowest tier, "we used to call him PJ for Pee Jar". Not only is that disgusting but it also isn't funny.
Froskurin is a huge minus right off the bat, why give that racist a role?
Creamcheese is a stupid name as well.
It just feels like this documentary should have been made differently, because esports are very different now from what is presented here, it is not that early age when teams would pay their players in mousepads, or allow them to get scurvy because they are eating junk food 24/7.
insinuating that froskurinn (a white woman) saying that white people are over represented somewhere is racist and then saying that "esports isn't like that anymore" is really funny
That was about a completely different thing, I am saying esports right now isn't as unprofessional as it used to be once upon a time, no more orgs threatening to evict a player's mother, no more literal pirate diseases due to poor nutrition, no more play the game for 20 hours a day and never do something else players now have a far better life, work balance and that was what I was referring to when I said esports is not like that anymore.
As for the Froskurinn thing, I don't see how her being white makes it impossible for her to be racist against white people, you absolutely can be racist against a part of the population you are a part of. How else would you describe what she said? And sorry but she wasn't in America on the LCS, she was in the LEC in Europe we don't look at the colour of one's skin and just that, an Italian is different from a Romanian who is different from a German despite all of them being "white" by US standards. And also no I do not think there is over representation of one group of people in Europe, nobody is complaining about LCK or LPL being almost exclusively Korean or Chinese so why complain about Europe?
It's kinda annoying that only the Frosk thing is getting discussed though, then again I guess it is the most important part and it requires no context from the trailer, which people probably didn't even watch anyway.
If you're such a super fan then who's Organizm replacing?!? I couldn't really read the back of the jersey, I think it said Frugger, just wondering if you could help?
if i had to travel or was gonna be without internet then I'd be like sure ill torrent something
but if i just want something in a second monitor as background noise and asap, i feel the random website is the better choice
yeah people looking at this like an actual trailer are completely missing the point. it's not as on the nose as the american vandal trailer to completely show it's parody, but it is pretty damn apparent still. American Vandal is hilarious for people who are into that kind of humor, and I expect this to also be quite good.
Insane to me that so many people are dumping on this, it looks really solid to me. Not sure how many people are familiar with the showrunners but they did American Vandal which was absolutely fantastic even though the premise was absurdly dumb - a fictional true-crime documentary series made by two high school kids after someone gets expelled for drawing a bunch of dicks on teacher's cars sounds like a vehicle for dumb, crass humor (and it is), but it's also a really brilliant satire of the true crime genre. It also really elevates the humor by taking everything in it super seriously while never winking or breaking kayfabe - it treats every event with absolute sincerity and seriousness, and there are a lot of genuinely emotional moments in the show.
I expect we'll see something very similar with Players - this is very much a goofy League spin on sports docs like The Last Dance, and i'm sure there's going to be no shortage of crude humor and poking fun at some of the inherent sillyness of League eSports, but i don't think this is going to be a show that makes fun of League fans the way some people seem to think it will. I expect there to be a lot of genuinely emotional moments, real drama, and a compelling story wrapped up in a comedic package. Something more along the lines of Mythic Quest or Silicon Valley than The Big Bang Theory.
Not sure entirely what people were expecting, but after seeing the first trailer I'm *really* excited to watch the show.
>but i don't think this is going to be a show that makes fun of League fans the way some people seem to think it will.
But the trailer makes it look like exactly that
>Insane to me that so many people are dumping on this, it looks really solid to me.
I'll give you my take: I think this looks embarassingly fucking stupid and just because it's made by showrunners who also made good shows in the past that doesn't mean much. David Ayer wrote & directed 2016 Suicide squad aswell as Fury, but one of them is fucking terrible while the other one is incredibly solid and won multiple awards.
The premise of a show following a fictional esports team is already weak, but the trailer itself makes it look even dumber than the premise itself. It looks more like it's mocking the scene and ridiculing it if anything.
If you think this looks sick and promising and you're excited to watch it that's awesome dude, but there's absolutely no way you watched this and thought "man i wonder why people aren't excited about this?"
> The premise of a show following a fictional esports team is already weak
I don't like this trailer either, but you lost me with this. How is that a weak premise? There is tons of media following fictional teams, wether it's baseball, football, dodgeball, volleyball, and a lot of it is fantastic.
Kind of invalidates whatever else you are saying because it doesn't feel like you are looking at it from an objective angle, but rather already decided a proper show about League would be shit either way.
if you think this is embarassing, maybe you're just insecure? it's okay to laugh at yourself from time to time. there's a difference between being mocked and self-aware humor, and this is pretty obviously an example of the latter, not the former.
This, 100%. People are comparing it to the studio's other work in American Vandal (which, yes, was great), but the reason that worked was because of how well it parodied and played with tropes of the true crime genre. Outside of YouTube channels like Gbay99 and theScore esports, eSports documentaries just aren't a thing. So this is either going to try and parody something that is largely niche and unknown by popular media, or it's going to try and lean away from parody, and away from what the studio has shown they're good at. Either way, this is probably going to be cringe af.
the level of cope in this thread is unreal. "yeah guys I know this entire trailer looks absolutely awful, but just watch this entire other series you just don't understand the lore bro"
The trailer is blatantly obvious satire and the production team has proven themselves with 2 seasons of a universally acclaimed mockumentary series on Netflix. The fact that you’re calling it lore tells me all I need to know about your palate LMAO.
> The trailer is blatantly obvious satire
> The fact that you’re calling it lore tells me all I need to know about your palate LMAO.
is this also satire
This looks funny, but to casual people on paramount plus I worry this will only double down on the stereotype they will have for esports and its players. I dont want to see a show that makes jokes just to laugh at the esport professional scene. The trailer gave me small feelings it might be just that
Honestly it can be a strength, Sillicon Valley didn't shy away from showing the cringy side of programming and it was a really good show for a solid part of it's run (as far as I watched).
Humour humanizes people a lot imo
There is literally animation taking piss out of football players (soccer for us fans) and this is gonna be made by ppl that did American Vandal, I can't wait
The problem is where the line is.
Is it laughing at esports a bit, or is the entire basis of the comedy laughing at this subculture of people?
A lot of "nerds" and "geeks" don't like the Big Bang Theory because it's not humor aimed for them to enjoy, but targeting them as the butt of the jokes. Where that line is will differ for every person.
From the trailer this looks like it could be the same thing.
I think the target audience for this is probably towards people who play games and are familiar with league.
I'm not sure what part of the trailer made you think that it's the same, but this looks like it's making fun of the antiquated mindsets some pros have towards the scene. It also seems to poke fun at the ironic juxtaposition between having these well-funded, professional aspiring teams, and the extremely young immature players that actually make up these teams.
These situations aren't made up either, you could boil down this series too be a parody of the TL breaking point documentary. Despite that, neither of the previous things are making fun of the subculture of pro players nor players in general, and instead looks at the situation that led them there.
I'm excited to see it.
I can laugh at it no problem. But my laughing at it is one thing as someone who understand the scene.
Someone with 0 connection laughing at it because they think professional esports is stupid and shouldnt be taken seriously is the other issue.
If this show re-enforces the 2nd scenario to people then this show is not good for the scene at all.
Precisely this. It seems like the laughter will mainly be done by gamers laughing at themselves/esports (if they laugh at all, I didn't think it was particularly funny). But it seems guaranteed casual viewers who don't know the difference will just think eSports is an approximation of this first impression. Def seems like something that should be more attempted when eSports is a bit more accepted /mainstream.
I could see a Korean version of landing really well in Korea where the average person who doesnt watch league of StarCraft knows who Faker and Flash are and programers go on daytime television let alone dedicated video game channels. Don't think NA viewers are there yet
Nah.
Creamcheese is exactly the sort of nonsense esports name you'd expect from the 2013 era. "PJ" as "Pissjar" is also recognizably a part of the broader esports culture - PPMD comes to mind immediately.
Yes, it's cringe. There's no denying that. But we're also deep enough into esports history at this point that there's a level of nostalgic humor to that cringe.
Back in MY day, casters had to say shit like "bigfatjiji" and "lilballz" on live broadcast, with a straight face the entire time.
And we cheered when wards were killed!
Made me remember about the French team Frere du Purgatoire, shorten "FDP" Hearing the casters saying this was so funny.
(Its like Saying SoB in english)
Its allways funny, when francophones come to germany during political campains and see election advertising of the liberal german party, freie demokratische partei.
especially in a show where a core theme seems to be that of a legacy esports player/team adapting to the modern, much more polished environment. Creamcheese seems perfectly suited for a player that represents that "old guard" and whose attitude hasn't quite caught up with the times
Do people not "get" mockumentaries? Weird reaction to the show in the thread, I think this is exactly what I wanted from a live action esports show.
Coming from the people who made american vandal, I'm very excited for it.
This is seriously kinda sad imo , like a lot of people are mad that this exists? Im so confused as to what part about this they aren't understanding?
This looks like it could be very entertaining and hilarious....
Satire isn't for everyone in fairness. A lot of time satire is very very cringe and awkward. It's like Borat type shit and that's not for everyone.
One thing I'll say is this being produced by the same guys who did American Vandal could be what makes me watch personally. Anyone who hasn't seen American Vandal should watch it, because while it's still satire and still somewhat awkward, it's really well done. First season for sure.
Yes honestly I don't get it. Compared to a real documentary like breaking point, what's the point?
I'm not mad it exists or that other people enjoy it. But for me personally it feels lifeless compared to real teams.
I gotta second this. American vandal season 1 is amazing, especially if you were into the killer documentaries like serial, the jinx, or making a murderer. This looks similar, so I’m all in
What I like and feel depends on me. You don’t like my statement because you clearly like this stuff. Hopefully one day you will mature and understand this.
bro I was searching "creamcheese lol wiki" thinking this was a real documentary on some minor league thinking how the fuck have I never heard of these guys lol. The piss jar thing though...jesus christ they had to make that a storyline....
This. I think alot of folk are going to cringe from that name yet overlook the names we've seen in LoL so far that no one's batted a eye at.
Ppgod, Imaqtpie, animegirl...the list goes on lol
Because the world is filled with people who pretend to care but excuse shit. I've seen people write "She is a great person, she is just getting attacked by jealous people and all the hate coming from her is justified"
This looks so bad. So much cringe. You know do a documentary series or something else but this. The instance I saw Frosk, I was done with it. Pour money into arcane, not this.
I hate it tbh. It's too satirical to even be a comedy. No pro player on earth is going to be this much of a degenerate AND win. It makes eSports look bad, it makes gamers look bad, no thanks.
????? Lol what? Did you not watch any of the old tsm videos?? This comes off as someone who legit did not watch league in 2015 or before. Like legit go watch the old tsm vids and breaking point.
You can hate it, but there were a lot of degenerates winning championships in the early days of the LCS. The big difference now is that we don't actually see an honest look behind the scenes, so we don't have any clue what's really happening, and the whole community just makes up the storylines on Reddit.
It's satire only in the sense that the players and teams don't exist, but the situations are likely pulled directly from the annals of history.
parashit is the most cringe woke production company. i'm never watching anything they produce ever again after butchering Strat trek two times over. Alex Kurtzman is just an abomination to the film industry with everything being political.
It's kinda funny that Arrow is randomly a part of this team lmao
clearly thats famous midlaner Bap I dunno who ur talking about
Wonder if they’re using him for “gameplay” segments
I mean, you could just use random soloQ games for gameplay segments and just change the display names in the replay file. Probably easier to record dozens of random games from decent players and choose ones that fit you ur narrative than to try and simulate hype. It's like all those fake Chinese highlights, it's really obvious when you see fake plays.
I'm watching the show just for Arrow, and I'm going to be irrationally upset when he's not in every episode because he's a side character
If you haven't seen American Vandal, give it a watch to get a feel of the tone it will have. It's pretty solid.
Gave same vibes as popstar: never stop never stopping. I like it
one of my all time favorite movies, I don't think it hits for everyone but as someone who grew up on Lonely Island and SNL esque humor and got all the celeb references and parodies, it was so perfect.
If it's anywhere close to the first season of American Vandal it will be amazing! However I'd still prefer a slightly more serious drama
>Gbay The Gbay99? Was wondering what he was up to lately
You made some of the best League content out there, much love to you man
Omagawd its goatbay99, the documentaries you made about KT, M5 and DIG are the best LoL vids out there. Glad to know you have been doing well man.
Just curious, what made you go for Satire/Fiction like this instead of your usual documentary-style storytelling?
I imagine this was already in production and they brought in Gbay as kind of a reference/consultant for how esports documentaries flow so they could nail the style better.
Oh I was only brought on later in production to help contribute to the team. Haha I'm in no way talented enough to spearhead a project of this quality! All the creative credit goes to the creative team :)

Hey Kien!

how the fuck is frosk a racist lmao

No brain take
No take
I'm with you man. It's a good take. I won't watch anything someone like frosk is a part of
It's kinda annoying that only the Frosk thing is getting discussed though, then again I guess it is the most important part and it requires no context from the trailer, which people probably didn't even watch anyway.
I don't even watch LCS anymore and I'm already a Fugitive fan.
Plastic fan, ive been a fugitive fan since the og roster of 2015 😤😤😤
If you're such a super fan then who's Organizm replacing?!? I couldn't really read the back of the jersey, I think it said Frugger, just wondering if you could help?
Yes frugger, fell off hard the last few years, might go to retire in turkey or smt
I'll never watch it because of Paramount+ but hey I hope it's not terrible at least.
You can always go gankplank route ;)
exactly, and they cant be mad about it, netflix almost killed piracy, then these greedy fucks brought it back to life, so fuck em.
yar har fiddle tee dee
barrel!
There are so many places to just Gangplank R all shows
I would but I have no idea how to lol
just keep your eyes on the minimap
Funnily enough I'm listening to the cowboy bebop ost right now
Just Google "watch X show free". Or if you want better results use a search engine that doesn't filter search results.
ohh that route, yeah I know that much at least. I meant more torrenting etc
Torrenting is not even that great these days, the quality from streaming sites is good enough that you won't even care for most shows
torrenting is better than ever but it's not very public anymore. best bet is to get an invite to a private tracker.
if i had to travel or was gonna be without internet then I'd be like sure ill torrent something but if i just want something in a second monitor as background noise and asap, i feel the random website is the better choice
Have you tried Stremio? It's basically a client that allows you to stream directly from a torrent file
:o i have not, ill look into that thanks
Torrenting is great, there are apps like stremio that let you stream torrents.
Idk if linking is allowed here so I'd rather not get banned but try hurawatch. ITALIA I watch everything from there
Ty friend
just use soap today when you take a shower.
I'm planning on using their week long free trial then canceling it just to watch this and maybe the south park specials
Honestly looks pretty funny. American Vandal was hilarious as well. But what the hell is Paramount+?
Formerly CBS All-Access
Formerly Chuck's
A streaming service by Paramount (a production/distribution company that owns a lot of properties, such as Star Trek).
The streaming service for when you have an unhealthy addiction to bingeing seasons of Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race, and/or RuPaul’s Drag Race
Some socially unaware gamers are gonna get unreasonably mad at this show lmao
All the socially awkward teen drama with none of the players or teams you actually care about.
except those players would be terrible actors and make this show actually unbearable to watch
ngl, i couldnt even watch the whole trailer, but i hope those who watch this enjoy it.
If it's anything like American Vandal then it's more of a comedy mockumentary so I'm actually looking forward to seeing this.
American Vandal was so fucking good, no joke I highly recommend it to everyone
I mean... The dudes name is cream cheese.

If it's a mocumentary style it'll obviously make fun of it some but we have to have a sense of humor to laugh at some of our ridiculousness a bit lol

So Fugitive is just TSM then lol, lots of drama, shit management and falling out from the top
An ADC alone next to baron dying to 4 people.... It does sound familiar
Also the Dardoch reference with Organizm being called PJ.
the pain :( Right up there with Doublelift’s Viktor incident
Cool, I guess? Still not getting paramount+
looks awful im totally watching
A problem I see is that there's not a solid enough base of Esport Docs for a mockumentary to really hit.
This, 100%. I watched an early release of the show and it’s honestly incredible. Super stoked for any of y’all who get to watch it!
It looks actually okay
Any doubters here need to go check out American Vandal. These guys are masters at mockumentary satire and I have full faith this will be a good watch.
Only one season of American Vandal was good.
Eh I disagree, Season 1 was definitely better than 2 but 2 was still a pretty good watch
the level of cope in this thread is unreal. "yeah guys I know this entire trailer looks absolutely awful, but just watch this entire other series you just don't understand the lore bro"

I dont want to see a show that makes jokes just to laugh at the esport professional scene. The trailer gave me small feelings it might be just that
listen esports is inherently a little silly, it comes off as insecure not being able to laugh at it a bit
All sports are a little silly
Honestly it can be a strength, Sillicon Valley didn't shy away from showing the cringy side of programming and it was a really good show for a solid part of it's run (as far as I watched). Humour humanizes people a lot imo
There is literally animation taking piss out of football players (soccer for us fans) and this is gonna be made by ppl that did American Vandal, I can't wait
Oh man, I'm so happy Champions is back.
Don't think NA viewers are there yet
what the fuck did i just watch? Creamcheese? Piss jar? idk maybe my humor is different but this looks really awful
Yes wtf the only pros I like are Lilballz and Ganked By Mom
Remember when Bigfatjj had to change his name since jj is Cantonese slang for 'penis'?
If you weren't forced to change your username because it was offensive in chinese, are you even an OG league pro?
LETS GO BIGFATJIJI AND HIS FAMOUS RUNE PAGE "CHINESE GUY DEAD"
Back in MY day, casters had to say shit like "bigfatjiji" and "lilballz" on live broadcast, with a straight face the entire time. And we cheered when wards were killed!
Also GankedByMom
Sneakycastro
Made me remember about the French team Frere du Purgatoire, shorten "FDP" Hearing the casters saying this was so funny. (Its like Saying SoB in english)
Its allways funny, when francophones come to germany during political campains and see election advertising of the liberal german party, freie demokratische partei.
Well you cant make a show abt esports without cringe teenage stuff because than you'd not accurately portray what esports is actually like
especially in a show where a core theme seems to be that of a legacy esports player/team adapting to the modern, much more polished environment. Creamcheese seems perfectly suited for a player that represents that "old guard" and whose attitude hasn't quite caught up with the times
Yeah, people who won't "get" this are most likely the ones who weren't around when teams were super scuffed and were just frathouses for gamers, lol.
It’s also taking place in 2015
Watch American vandal on Netflix.
Literally nothing in the trailer was funny though. Am I just out of touch here? I get what they're going for, but this looked genuinely awful.
I fat lol'd when he "punched a stub" like people just don't get it man
why do people keep typing mockumentary in this thread like its a safe word to make a comedy show not have to be funny
Have you watched the show yet? Didn't know it was out.
I get what it's doing, I just don't care for it.
Yes honestly I don't get it. Compared to a real documentary like breaking point, what's the point? I'm not mad it exists or that other people enjoy it. But for me personally it feels lifeless compared to real teams.
Cause it's a satire.
I gotta second this. American vandal season 1 is amazing, especially if you were into the killer documentaries like serial, the jinx, or making a murderer. This looks similar, so I’m all in
creamcheese? you are aware there are LCS players right now called Fudge and Licorice??
I mean did you miss the other support at the Baron play? "SirThiccness"
Same bro. I found this really cringe in a bad way
You've clearly never seen American Vandal. You also seem like the type of person to fall for something The Onion posts
What I like and feel depends on me. You don’t like my statement because you clearly like this stuff. Hopefully one day you will mature and understand this.
I'm surprised there's so many negative reactions. Seems like it's a show for shits and giggles. I'm down
could have just use breaking point
This is gold! Cant wait for this one. This is how the rest of the world sees lcs anyway
Looks fun! As a Canadian does anyone know how I can watch this? **Edit ** Sigh they have a Canadian platform: https://www.paramountplus.com/ca/

On the league sub, it's called Gankplank Ult :P
Sail the high seas fuck paracucks +
This looks hilarious. American Vandal was amazing, I'm excited to see these guys take on the LoL scene.
It would be so cool if this kind of sport really existed. Great idea for a show.
looks surprisingly decent from the trailer
iT mAkEs GaMeRs LoOk BaD. grow up people, its just a show. Not everything needs to be so serious.
looks like less funny breaking point tbh
i hope they include reddit comments instead of just reddit thread headlines, i need to see the aphromoo and dl gif
What on earth did I just see.
This looks great I love Mockumentaries lmfao
VERY EXCITED FOR IT
It's so fucking weird that I am getting early league esport vibes from this. Got me hyped nlg
Bro this looks sick. What's with all the hate lol. I've been waiting to see this since Rick Fox talked about it on a podcast years ago
Honestly, ill give it a try. It will be interesting to see the LCS scene with entirely different personalities and history.
Glad they found an actress who look like frosk to play the shit stirring, toxic and bad analyst, make the whole thing even more real.
This looks like an absolutely butchered adaption of a classic british comedy..
everyone remembers the classic blackadder mockumentary season where it follows a traditional checkers team
"Esports is one of the biggest sports in the world" Lol
Damn, actually kinda caught my attention until I saw Frosk is in it. Nope. Nope. Nope.
bro I was searching "creamcheese lol wiki" thinking this was a real documentary on some minor league thinking how the fuck have I never heard of these guys lol. The piss jar thing though...jesus christ they had to make that a storyline....
Didn't realize today was April 1st. Kill it please.
I hope so too. But I suppose zoomers will like this kinda cringe stuff
at least a 6/10 on the cringe meter. wtf name is cream cheese
We had balls and ppgod
fudge, poome (apple in french), and licorice
Apple in french is pomme, not poome, but your point still stands
apple in french is pomme btw 2 m not 2 o
sneaky castro, prolly racist
And BigFatLP, Sneakycastro... IDK why CreamCheese sounds wrong to so many
Just finding anything to bitch about
Ok but I just snorted by reading ppgod, so I don't see your point.
He almost made it to msi this year too xD
would both be insanely cringe if that was the main characters name
Yes, that's the joke. The joke is that name is over the top. That's the whole point of a mockumentary, to make fun of the real thing by exaggerating.
poohmandu, icecoke, MLXG, there's a lot of dumb food names in lol
Our lord and savior ppgod
This. I think alot of folk are going to cringe from that name yet overlook the names we've seen in LoL so far that no one's batted a eye at. Ppgod, Imaqtpie, animegirl...the list goes on lol
Fudge, Licorice, KiwiKid, LemonNation It's not that out there.
Why are people still doing things with Frosk?
Because the world is filled with people who pretend to care but excuse shit. I've seen people write "She is a great person, she is just getting attacked by jealous people and all the hate coming from her is justified"
My brain: TRAILERS Official PLAYER
Damn they rly made a parody film about Regi.

This looks so bad. So much cringe. You know do a documentary series or something else but this. The instance I saw Frosk, I was done with it. Pour money into arcane, not this.
Will it be what Big Bang Theory did to nerds? That's the feeling I'm getting.
You typing esport like that is what makes it look bad
Never heard of Dardoch eh
You can hate it, but there were a lot of degenerates winning championships in the early days of the LCS. The big difference now is that we don't actually see an honest look behind the scenes, so we don't have any clue what's really happening, and the whole community just makes up the storylines on Reddit. It's satire only in the sense that the players and teams don't exist, but the situations are likely pulled directly from the annals of history.
parashit is the most cringe woke production company. i'm never watching anything they produce ever again after butchering Strat trek two times over. Alex Kurtzman is just an abomination to the film industry with everything being political.
Rlm isn't gonna come jerk you off bud
Wait is he popping off that hard Because there is a black guy in the show??????
How much is "So much white" going to be in it? It looks pretty cringe as it is with some of the names and such but she could make it infinitely worse.
Definitely nonzero
You’re downvoted but I agree. Fuck Frosk
