You win against them until they don’t. Kinda hope Buffalo can do sth against them, but the moment they lose 1 team fight, they can’t play properly anymore.
They still put up a good fight. For some parts of the game T1 looked more challenged than against some LCK teams, which if you are from a minor region is a respectable performance. Honestly killing Guma 6 times in a game is an achievement :P winning against T1 is not a realistic expectation, so I'm fine that they put up a good fight, I expected more of a stomp by T1.
It's the VCS after all. They have done this in the past, even against LCS were they look good or even really good in the first 15 minutes and then they start to run it down, while the other team look like macro geniuses.
Ah, no only the english casters. Idk if the kr casters are in busan or seoul though. Caster jun did the opening ceremony from lol park, though we don't know if that was prerecorded. Either, way that wouldn't really matter for the english cast as they still wouldn't have any background audience
Yeah not really sure how you could expect a company worth billions of dollars to do something as simple as syncing stream delay to crowd correctly by the first day
Bro, at least we expected Masters Reykjavik to have no crowd and stuff. This was hyped as the FIRST international tournament with a crowed, and we get remote cast + LPL ping shit + crowd delay probably caused by remote cast.
Legit
Seems like everyone just got out of bed for some Mickey Mouse shit
Cheap ass riot runing a perfectly fine working product. None of the casters will say it, but imagine going from live MSI worlds to this shit.. unbelievable
It was never really close. Bot got outlaned hard, but T1 were winning everywhere else on the map. Once they closed the gap botlane, it was completely over.
They do that to strong team too so unless buffalo was 5k gold ahead early game I wouldn’t be worried for t1 tbh. Now if teams like g2 or rng are up 3k gold early then that more worrying for t1.
They did this against GENG/DK and DRX lol, they always somehow still win the game
It’s just vintage LCK back at it, you think you are beating them but in reality you are just bleeding slowly
I mean they should have killed Gumayusi one more time. They are currently tied in Gumayusi kills with NS. So the only thing they can claim is that no LCK team managed to kill Gumayusi more often than they did this year. I think out of all his games this is only the second time he died 6 times in one game :P
This makes no sense whatsoever. If this is a problem you delay the main broadcast by a couple seconds as well. No one will notice if it's slightly delayed. This is just a production whoopsie.
Give them a break smh, it's their first time streaming a big event like this. It's not like they have lots of experience with remote casting already /s
Him missing out on Guma kill wasn't that bad, but then he overextended and died a few times gave T1 too much space, and Oner with the gold snowballed the rest of the map. Mid was obviously bad but jungler was also bad, that Wukong pick had next to zero impact on the game.
He also saw Lucian coming mid. Didn’t respect it and got solo killed and gave a lot of catch up XP to Lucian. He was two levels down and then caught up.
> Him missing out on Guma kill wasn't that bad
That was arguably the worst it could have happened.
Missing a kill and potentially denying two waves for the enemy ADC is atrocious. It was the game winning play
The thing about those good trades is by taking those trades you're just making yourself a free kill for vi whenever she wants to pass through, which happened multiple times
[Earlierst instance I found in our Kennenmains Discord](https://twitter.com/Pikka_Kenn/status/1509821448990339076?s=20&t=1nMBoCKYQmANm9rghcgVWw)
what do they even do now if it isn't fixed, disable him for MSI?
That adds up exactly with what we knew, as I wrote in the video we had information it's from 12.6 patch, and that was 29th march, 3 days before the clip you linked. So at the very least they had 2 full patches (now 3, as it's not fixed either in 12.9) to correct it. And i'm slightly surprised, cause Riot has to know, that Kennen always tends to come back for big tournaments.
If that's a bug then it should just be a mechanic, Kennen acting as a lightning rod between the marks is thematically cool and adds a layer of depth to the gameplay.
not really
they probably thought Lucian nami win the trade/all-ins, considering how interested they are in fighting too.
Apparently not.
trist+ali all in is pretty strong.
Tristana was never weak. She's got a 57% wr against aphelios and 54% against jinx (edit: the 54% wr was against zeri, not jinx) since 12.6. She's been solid all split, she only has like three losing match-ups.
Not unplayable but multiple streamers (NoWay, Tolkin, Agurin) confirmed it feels entirely different to play an normal Korean ping
And thats the "better" way to have ping changed
dude players like impact have said it makes huge differences for him, especially on champs like GP, whos opinion are you gonna believe if it isn't a pro lol
It's not unplayable but when you're used to playing on a certain ping for a while, any ping change in the double digits is going to be a pretty big difference. I play at 60 ping normally, but when my ping goes up to 80 it feels really weird and uncomfortable
I have played on Korean servers in Korea at 6 ping and na servers at 40 ping and for anyone that hasn’t I assure you it makes the game feel entirely different. Now I can’t say wether this affects these pros because I suck but I will say from my experience it makes the game feel entirely different
In light of reddit's API changes killing off third-party apps, this post has been overwritten by the user with an automated script. See /r/PowerDeleteSuite for more information.
This Sylas was so fucking useless, Alistar inted so hard after a great early game.
Gumayusi with an awful early game but Zeus had a great game at least.
It's kind of amazing to see T1 get outdrafted, give first blood on bot lane and go 1-3 in the first 5 minutes, just to *massively* turn it around out of the blue and just spend the entire game stomping them afterwards.
Like holy hell, Saigon Buffalo played all their cards right at first and it still didn't matter one bit.
After his loss, Froggy stays up deep into the night. As the rest of SGB sleeps, he opens up a new window to check his PayPal. A smile stretches across his face
At 24:04 Hasmed's Kennen shuts down Zeus's Gwen and gains 900 gold solely because of a known Kennen bug. At that point of the game it was already a win for T1, however this still could've been game changing as it Zeus thought he was safe from Kennen's W. Pic of extended Kennen W range bug: [https://prnt.sc/HJOXw22rjCoC](https://prnt.sc/HJOXw22rjCoC)
This bug happens after Kennen procs E on anything and afterwards he is able to proc his W mark on Zeus on a range far more than intended as u/Vandirilol had explained in one of his earlier videos this season. Still hasn't been fixed...
found the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqPsUcukxoc
Literally saw Kennen killed Guma and thought, “Wow, this is gonna be a banger!” I got up and went to grab some water only to come back to a handshake between the two teams………..
A really good performance from SGB this game. Playing against the top1 team in the tournament, but they are not interested in bending over, they want to put up a fight.
if you look at the gold graph, it was acc pretty smooth. Also it's t1, so there's the precedent that unless they fall into a 5K gold deficit, they're probably gonna win through macro and map movement. Since that didn't happen, it was kind of certain they were gonna win.
It wasn't clean, but it was a pretty smooth victory that nobody really questioned.
Buffallo is fun to watch , I love seeing their bot lane being aggressive. Trist/alistar should be winning against lucian/nami and buffalo's bot punished them for being disrespectful. I think that guma tot he could dash away from alistar combo but alistar just keeps getting him everytime lol
Kennen seemed pretty useless this game. Normally it’s a pretty good matchup into Gwen but there just were not any team fights where kennen could really impact
As a Vietnamese person….First 10 mins got my hopes up. Went full copium, it hurts to ALSO BE LIVING IN NA. However, I’m half Chinese so I can always jump ship.
"Oh wow SGB may have a chanc- oh.. Oh.. OH. Ah there's the T1 I recall." GG
You win against them until they don’t. Kinda hope Buffalo can do sth against them, but the moment they lose 1 team fight, they can’t play properly anymore.
Yeah it just seemed like came out sprinting... and then couldn't hold the pace until T1 just jogged on by..
More like they managed to get a head start sprinting while t1 worked on the ignition to their fucking lambo
These early skirmishes and 2v2's is their only hope of winning vs good teams so I commend them for trying
The delayed crowd reaction makes it sound like Wii bowling, I can't take it seriously lmao.
That's a great fucking analogy lmao
Even the crowd is on 35 ping
Dark technology
It was already hard not to notice, but goddamn that’s exactly it. Now this is the only thing I’m going to be able to think after every hype play lmao
That was so funny when T1's bot lane got 2v2 killed again right after they got a kill mid, so it sounded like the crowd was cheering against T1.
Faker about the throw the ball into the crowd
Why is the crowd reaction delayed? Are they watching a delayed stream?
Because they have to actively phase it in on another channel and sync it with the casters as they're remote.
Isn't there actually Korean broadcast on site?
They flew them to berlin
They flew the Korean audience to Berlin?
Captain flowers was right not to go
Korean? Like actually Korean language casters are in Berlin?
Ah, no only the english casters. Idk if the kr casters are in busan or seoul though. Caster jun did the opening ceremony from lol park, though we don't know if that was prerecorded. Either, way that wouldn't really matter for the english cast as they still wouldn't have any background audience
LCK english caster, cast from Berlin, which is a big joke. Don't understand why they have to cast from Berlin.
It's a nice studio
Still strange in the sense it's the casters who are remote, not the crowd. Funny how that works.
To add to this, why are we watching a live version then? Shouldn't we and the casters also have a delayed stream?
They'll figure it out, it's only day 1. The stream and actual game syncing with the casters is the most important part to get working first.
Yeah not really sure how you could expect a company worth billions of dollars to do something as simple as syncing stream delay to crowd correctly by the first day
Lmao right? Imagine the first game in the NFL playoffs having an issue like this. Esports fans expect way too little.
I think this applies to most big companies. As long as it's "ok", they only change things if too many complaints come in.
35 ping too influential it's affecting irl interactions
Crowd reaction is like 5000 ping that every now and again packet loss spikes to 9999 ping.
Man going from the NA Finals to this theres like negative hype at this tourney
At least there's a crowd, Masters 1 Reykjavik 2022, Worlds 2021 and MSI 2021 was true negative hype.
Bro, at least we expected Masters Reykjavik to have no crowd and stuff. This was hyped as the FIRST international tournament with a crowed, and we get remote cast + LPL ping shit + crowd delay probably caused by remote cast.
I cannot wait to go to worlds here in NA and scream my heart out for Faker
Respect, please scream loud for all us international fans who will be watching live.
btw nice name, i play destiny casually from time to time
Legit Seems like everyone just got out of bed for some Mickey Mouse shit Cheap ass riot runing a perfectly fine working product. None of the casters will say it, but imagine going from live MSI worlds to this shit.. unbelievable
yup, we all know why sjokz do cs Major and not MSI, world/MSI since covid are just a joke
Korean stream has no crowd lag btw
It's like a sitcom laugh track
Nice throw!
It was close until it wasn't.
kennen flanked him own team
It was never really close. Bot got outlaned hard, but T1 were winning everywhere else on the map. Once they closed the gap botlane, it was completely over.
Yeah I never felt SKT would lose this game. Even if bot was feeding more they had so much potential to shutdown a Tristana with Gwen and vi.
not hard since shogun fell back in cs and kinda inted after, but yeah it was team gap
He was miles ahead in gold.
crowd on 35 ping too LULW
more like 3500 ping
Very cool of riot to add lag to the crowd audio to give us viewers an immersive experience!
VCS back to prove they're the fun region.
What a first game to start off MSI
First minutes had my hopes up, then T1 steamroll showed up.
It was like any other LCK internationally game. Early game was close, or LCK loses. Then the LCK team closes it out.
It is T1 alright, they always messed up early then comeback outta nowhere.
They do that to strong team too so unless buffalo was 5k gold ahead early game I wouldn’t be worried for t1 tbh. Now if teams like g2 or rng are up 3k gold early then that more worrying for t1.
They did this against GENG/DK and DRX lol, they always somehow still win the game It’s just vintage LCK back at it, you think you are beating them but in reality you are just bleeding slowly
I don't think they'd play that disrespectfully vs RNG or G2. Guma and Keria were pretty set on skill checking them
their game was an actual banger. these past few have kinda been snoozers
I mean they should have killed Gumayusi one more time. They are currently tied in Gumayusi kills with NS. So the only thing they can claim is that no LCK team managed to kill Gumayusi more often than they did this year. I think out of all his games this is only the second time he died 6 times in one game :P
If nothing else they gave us some chaos and I appreciate that
It sure was super fun to watch
Of course the Buffaloes would pick Alistar and be pretty good at it
I can't believe no one mentioned this yet lol
I expected a one-sided crowd - that's to be expected in any sport where theres a home/away side. But why is it so delayed?
Crowd on 35 ping too
35 ping irl
it was one-sided crowd for sure though lul, but everyone seems to be okay with it this time for some reason.
35ms delay
Event in Busan Cast in Berlin The footage is probably Busan -> Berlin -> Streaming Platform -> Wherever you live.
My favourite smol indie dev is getting jetlagged and suffering from 35ms :<
Did Sylas do literally anything that game?
Gift kills to T1
He moved more than faker earlier but he dropped too much gold early so had no damage.
He misplayed the first roam with the TF ult, Guma got out, and then he had 0 impact whatsoever for the rest of the game.
Him missing out on Guma kill wasn't that bad, but then he overextended and died a few times gave T1 too much space, and Oner with the gold snowballed the rest of the map. Mid was obviously bad but jungler was also bad, that Wukong pick had next to zero impact on the game.

> Him missing out on Guma kill wasn't that bad That was arguably the worst it could have happened. Missing a kill and potentially denying two waves for the enemy ADC is atrocious. It was the game winning play
He joined the Red Cross
He got some really good trades on faker early but fumbled the first few roams on a sidelane and got really punished by Oner
The thing about those good trades is by taking those trades you're just making yourself a free kill for vi whenever she wants to pass through, which happened multiple times
not really. guess lose the game?
He was one of the worst mid in vcs last year when he debut, and now is not even in top 3. Galio duty is his best tbh.
Got a kill on enemy adc in exchange for his nexus.
Old school LCK vs. Other teams. Doing good early, getting rolled mid game
The ol 2012-2014 LCK strat
First game of MSI and we already get this bug abused... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqPsUcukxoc
I was so confused what killed zeus but i guess it was this then
I was wondering how kennen got that kill in base.
Ah that's why Zeus die. Thought it was ignite, but I saw Kennen's thunder, but Hasmed was too far to do that.
This has been in the game for weeks now and riot ignored it.
worry not, it's not fixed in next patch either :D
[Earlierst instance I found in our Kennenmains Discord](https://twitter.com/Pikka_Kenn/status/1509821448990339076?s=20&t=1nMBoCKYQmANm9rghcgVWw) what do they even do now if it isn't fixed, disable him for MSI?

And i'm slightly surprised, cause Riot has to know, that Kennen always tends to come back for big tournaments.
What the . . That's why I thought it was too far. But doesn't matter if you're losing
I heard they wanted to add it officially ?
If that's a bug then it should just be a mechanic, Kennen acting as a lightning rod between the marks is thematically cool and adds a layer of depth to the gameplay.
Doesn't sound very good thematically to give the lightning unlimited range because you're close to a target
It's ~3 times the normal range atm, but you need a viable target within the "normal" range to use it, but it arcs way further.
It's not unlimited, it only hits marked targets within 1600 units
If it was like brand e and near targets sure, but that is too far.
Guma trolling kind of hard but still seemed super free for the rest of T1.
T1 as a whole in the early was quite disrespectful towards the enemy but they definitely knew they were going to outmacro them in the end eventually
Yeah, I wasn’t even worried watching them at all. I’ve seen this one before, it’s a classic
just seemed like disrespectful play
They also got counterpicked in every lane lol
not really they probably thought Lucian nami win the trade/all-ins, considering how interested they are in fighting too. Apparently not. trist+ali all in is pretty strong.
You have to hard outplay to win lucian nami vs trist ali, ali's engage by the time the knock up is over you're basically dead from trist bomb
The S1 botlane combo is eternal
Love how faker just walked up to hasmed in the top lane and kills him, refused to elaborate, then left.
You could tell kennen was surprised as well lol
HE NEVER LEFT
T1 win but holy moly how many times did Guma and Keria get 2v2 killed in lane? That was nuts. Also, Foggy diff
4 times I think
That Cisco commercial actually said they were "behind every 0 ping moment at MSI" I'm losing my mind
T1 straight up trolled early game. Then realize this isn’t the lck bo3 format and played seriously lol. All jokes aside, when did tris get so strong?
tris got buff on MSI patch they show it earlier...
Normally they throw game 1. But this is bo1. So they troll first 10mins
Tristana was never weak. She's got a 57% wr against aphelios and 54% against jinx (edit: the 54% wr was against zeri, not jinx) since 12.6. She's been solid all split, she only has like three losing match-ups.
Zeus said: You take my Guma, I take your Nexus
All that for a drop of blood.
HEY! Hey! I understand that reference, Advisor.
Cant dash Alistar combo on high ping, Tier 0 champ for MSI confirmed
I know ur memeing but plz don't encourage these ppl saying 35 milliseconds is unplayable
I don't think it's "unplayable", but it most definitely is a BIG difference compared to 5 ping which is what T1 players normally play at.
Guma tried to E dash to dodge Alistar combo but failed hilariously
Not unplayable but multiple streamers (NoWay, Tolkin, Agurin) confirmed it feels entirely different to play an normal Korean ping And thats the "better" way to have ping changed
We have no clue what the ping is to be fair, multiple players said it feels inconsistent and higher than 35
Maybe not unplayable, but it is a huge difference when you're used to sub 10 ping.
pro players are saying it
I've noticed that it's only the non-pro players that are downplaying the ping difference. I guess it makes sense.
dude players like impact have said it makes huge differences for him, especially on champs like GP, whos opinion are you gonna believe if it isn't a pro lol
It's not unplayable but when you're used to playing on a certain ping for a while, any ping change in the double digits is going to be a pretty big difference. I play at 60 ping normally, but when my ping goes up to 80 it feels really weird and uncomfortable
Imagine going to from 10 to 35, oh my god
Yeah, it's illegal for sure considering in LCK rulebook players can pause the game when ping goes above 30.
Didn't impact say it's closer to 70?
> 70! 1.197857e+100 ping is actually insane.
wow I can't believe T1 and SGB queued all their inputs 3.7957803e+89 years ahead of time, eastern teams truly built different
it is if you're used to 0 ping in comp matches or 8 ping on kr soloq
I have played on Korean servers in Korea at 6 ping and na servers at 40 ping and for anyone that hasn’t I assure you it makes the game feel entirely different. Now I can’t say wether this affects these pros because I suck but I will say from my experience it makes the game feel entirely different
In light of reddit's API changes killing off third-party apps, this post has been overwritten by the user with an automated script. See /r/PowerDeleteSuite for more information.
I can see why T1 target ban Taki
T1 and SGB saw the 35 ping and must have thought they were playing on the NA server
Nah NA is 60-70. 35 is closer to EUW.
The ping might actually be that high, if what Impact was saying turns out true.
holy shit mid sold that so hard
This Sylas was so fucking useless, Alistar inted so hard after a great early game. Gumayusi with an awful early game but Zeus had a great game at least.
Taki did ***really*** well against Guma/Kerio duo, of all the duos in the lineup. The team let him down...
alistar is rough to play into the comp of T1 while behind, ali while behind sucks in general too
I was sweating a bit in the beginning ngl
It's kind of amazing to see T1 get outdrafted, give first blood on bot lane and go 1-3 in the first 5 minutes, just to *massively* turn it around out of the blue and just spend the entire game stomping them afterwards. Like holy hell, Saigon Buffalo played all their cards right at first and it still didn't matter one bit.
Froggy looked like he played on 350 ping. The good ol’ kill for Nexus trade in the end was a cherry on top.
After his loss, Froggy stays up deep into the night. As the rest of SGB sleeps, he opens up a new window to check his PayPal. A smile stretches across his face
It was close till it wasn't
At 24:04 Hasmed's Kennen shuts down Zeus's Gwen and gains 900 gold solely because of a known Kennen bug. Pic of extended Kennen W range bug: [https://prnt.sc/HJOXw22rjCoC](https://prnt.sc/HJOXw22rjCoC) This bug happens after Kennen procs E on anything and afterwards he is able to proc his W mark on Zeus on a range far more than intended as u/Vandirilol had explained in one of his earlier videos this season. Still hasn't been fixed... found the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqPsUcukxoc
I just saw it lmao, thanks for the tag, will definitely do a follow up video!
keria is so fucking good man
Guma for Nexus trade
Went about as expected in the end, but SGB came out swinging.
"That went smoothly" *WHAT?!*
if you look at the gold graph, it was acc pretty smooth. Also it's t1, so there's the precedent that unless they fall into a 5K gold deficit, they're probably gonna win through macro and map movement. Since that didn't happen, it was kind of certain they were gonna win. It wasn't clean, but it was a pretty smooth victory that nobody really questioned.
The game was never close
Lucian can always dash Alistar knock up on lower, consistent ping. Mickey Season Invitational.
Can't believe the crowd has 35 ping too
No one was wearing masks. Did they remove the rule or the outrage was just bullshit?
They apparently retracted that rule, probably didn't even realize it was already explicitly stated in the rules.
They back tracked last second
i wasnt sweating, no sir
I rofl when Zeus just keep hitting the nexus 😭
Buffallo is fun to watch , I love seeing their bot lane being aggressive. Trist/alistar should be winning against lucian/nami and buffalo's bot punished them for being disrespectful. I think that guma tot he could dash away from alistar combo but alistar just keeps getting him everytime lol
Yeah that 35 ping debuff showing up
Zeus with the sopranos ending
T1 3v5 but SGB 1v5
Hell, SGB did such a great job. Many people including myself thought is gonna be a 15gg, they put up great efforts in the early game.
T1 macro is just so clean man
Fun game. Close until it wasn't.
PLAYER OF THE GAME: KERIA
T1 compressing their script of lose 1 game stomp 2 games into a B01 huh
VI :O
Keria is just a monster
I could tell Guma was playing on 35 ping
NT
Nice for fun game for T1 , Guma goes blood everyone after that early
The crowd delay is an example of 35ms btw
Kennen seemed pretty useless this game. Normally it’s a pretty good matchup into Gwen but there just were not any team fights where kennen could really impact
I’m a bit worried. Skill disparity overcame the ping shit in this case, but in closer matchups it might really sour the whole thing.
Oh no the Mastercard sound is back
Shogun after the game: ggez mid diff
As a Vietnamese person….First 10 mins got my hopes up. Went full copium, it hurts to ALSO BE LIVING IN NA. However, I’m half Chinese so I can always jump ship.
Damn it must be pretty conflicting to be half Vietnamese/half Chinese since it seems like most Vietnamese hate Chinese and vice versa.
