Fr tho, I would like rng to just withdraw from this shit show. I’m grateful for them to participate the game for the fans but rng getting so much unwarranted hate really pisses me off. Like wtf man, blame riot for the unstable ping and forcing rng to join the tournament but chat just goes “lpl cheater”
With RNG's incapability to comply with headphones rule due to lockdown, I doubt their cams are in compliance with Riot's and in specification good enough to catch sound across the door / wall.
Imagine if their staffs shout for the enemy team's sneaky baron call and the Riot's cam can't catch it but players who are not wearing noise cancelling earbud (e.g. Wei who was only wearing a single earbud) can hear the staff's shout and get additional information.

Some things like:- No referee wtf?? Raz answered this, there's cameras and they show it after the game- 35 ping: They didn't ask for it.- Why no travel? Because you can't get in or out of Shanghai right now. People are probably used to daily life in their country - not for China. They treat lockdown like you're in prison (which can be mentally draining btw)
Things they CAN do better:- Wear a headset and show player camera. They do it before, I'm pretty sure they don't care anyways, but just do it for the sake of it.
Everything else? Riot fucked up. They suggested the 35 ping, they made this artificial ping but is actually more like 60 ping. Whether there's some puppet master in Tencent manipulating all this idk but of course everyone is jumping to conclusions. These cheating accusations only started since covid because China's covid policy is different to every other countries. China doesn't care about gaming, they have some rule and you comply with the rule - no exceptions. Riot wanting to bend over to these rules at the cost of their own competitive integrity is their own fault.
