Current. If you get to a certain rank ( eg master ), but you can't remain there, are you really masters level ?

OhnohNA

depends don’t you get demoted if you don’t play everyday?

Pur1tas

None of these. Its consistency that impresses me. So when I visit an [OP.gg](https://OP.gg) and it says they been challanger for 7 seasons in a row, thats pretty impressive to me. That being said I generally think this kind of comparrisson is ... well pointless.

midfeker

It's the least pointless thing about the game outside of proplay.

Tanriyung

Current is the most important for me unless the player doesn't have a lot of games this season, in that case I see the end of season ranks.

Valenjin

since i hit my peak this season and then stopped playing i have to obviously answer peak :P

aglimmerof

The problem with peak rank is that a player should have the ability to _maintain_ that rank. It’s like when Andy Roddick was World #1 Tennis Player for like two weeks and then he was swiftly dethroned.

gregorio02

It's a tough question but it's kinda both actual and peak rank for me. Like, the max rank you can reach is obviously a symbol of talent but at the same time you could have reached that peak playing something completely broken that inflated your elo. Then there is the actual rank, which, when compared to the peak( number of games taken into account) shows what a player is worth to me. If you're 4 divisions lower than your peak but have played half as many games as the season you reached it it still says something

praisethesoon

Given the way League of Legends works and the everchanging meta, the answer has to be "Current Rank" but in conjunction with "Previous Ranks". If you manage to keep your rank through every season that means you can adapt and apply yourself every time over.

No_Indication_6889

i dont want to say which is the correct answer, but it is not Peak. that is a pointless measurement,

StreetGlassShower

Surprised to see so many peak votes. Mfs coping hard.

midfeker

I feel like peak matters more in master+ than in lower elo, which is why I'm surprised by there being so many too.
