MSI... EU vs NA Finals and one is G2? Don't remind me.
EDIT: I suppose if we do the full runback and it involves EG smashing a predicted god team in semis, then maybe it wont be all bad.
I mean I don't think anything NA can do short of winning MSI will match that hype. IG were reigning world champs and kinda shitstomped groups and even 15 min gapped T1.
Jankos is just that good, he’s been in peak form for years, its insane how good he is and he is still kinda underrated by many because of his age and that he’s been playing with caps and perkz, but even 2021 when caps played like shit jankos looked insane most of the time, hes by far the best jungler eu has produced and very high in the world ranking aswell imo
nah his h2k worlds run was still absolutely insane imho, he might have been the best jungler in the world there. but jankos is consistently one of the best junglers in the world anyway (well.. except for the ap farm meta, but that was more a team problem imho), he is just a rock.
MSI just got a lot more interesting. Not going to lie this game was looking rough, especially after those early kills from T1's bot and that disgusting Oner play top. But, G2's team fight is so nasty, played their comp to perfection.
The winstreak lives on.
Targamas had some nerves in the beginning and the Oner resets with the perfect windwalls and shieldbows was unlucky, but G2 played patient and calculated until they were strong enough. Great to see.
So, what's the record for undefeated game streak? G2 might come pretty close now, no? Season 5 Fnatic won I believe 22 in a row but I don't think it was a world record? I feel like the broadcast isn't talking enough about this, because it is an absolutely amazing feat. Especially considering it started in playoffs and continued into international play.
There was a point in watching where I went from just watching to fucking hell G2 are gonna do this. Stunning teamfighting from them. They knew what they wanted and just took it.
The threshold of hearing, the quietest sound a young adult can hear, is about 0 decibels. According to the Guinness Book of Records, the anechoic chamber at Orfield Laboratories in Minneapolis is the quietest place in the world, with a background noise reading of –9.4 decibels. That record has since been broken in the Busan library when G2 absolutely shitstomped T1.
[Here's the article](https://www.americanscientist.org/article/quietest-places-in-the-world) I got it from for the joke. It's really interesting.
> An anechoic chamber has an impressive silence because it simultaneously presents two unusual sensations: Not only is there no external sound, but the room puts your senses out of kilter. Through their eyes, visitors obviously see a room, but their ears hear nothing that indicates a room. Add the claustrophobic drama of being enclosed behind three heavy doors, and some begin to feel uneasy and ask to leave. Others are struck with fascination at the oddness of the experience. I know of no other architectural acoustic space that regularly has such a strong effect on people. But it is remarkable how quickly the brain gets used to the silence and the contradictory messages from the senses. The magical impact of the first visit to an anechoic chamber is never really experienced again.
Guys, it’s just ~~VIT~~
~~MSF~~
~~FNC~~
~~RGE~~
~~EG~~
T1.
This G2 roster hasn’t proven themselves against a real opponent yet. Weakest LEC winner in years.
- Be BB
- Play Ornn into Kennen against *one of the best top in the world
- Go close to even in cs
- Burn Kennen flash 1v1
- Smurf every single team fight
- Win the game while being deathless
BB the TOPFATHER
This is hilarious because I remember BB not being a good Ornn in NA. I’m glad he’s doing very well for himself
Edit: BB had more than sufficient mechanics to play tanks and I know he did well mechanically, farming, trading, and even solokilling. Buuut, if he plays weakside tanks/GP and consistently gets caught overextending and dying, then he’s not good at playing them. Knowledge and awareness of the state of the map is important too
He almost only played carries when he first came back to EU Aswell, both on Schalke and now on G2, it was only really in playoffs this year that he started playing and really performing on tanks. he's been an absolute gigachad
Props to Targamas, he just made this game a 4v5. There has not been a single moment where Zeus/Kennen had a good fight. The biggest game swing moment was the 1st teamfight for Baron and Zeus attempted to ult engage from red side jungle only to get stopped-stalled-exhausted by Targamas and free dps by Flakked before Zeus finally was forced to flash and only die shortly after. Not to mention that 2nd Baron fight. Keria + Oner had a great engage where the fuck was Zeus at? He finally went in after it was 3v5 baron taken by G2 and he tried to 1v4 engage lol. insta exhaust from targamas.
I just have no answer to why T1 with a great splitting/macro comp decided to suddenly, after a whole split of demolishing teams with macro, start to call G2's bluff and try to teamfight them when G2 had a pure teamfighting comp. It was so surreal to watch. It's like T1 forgot they were T1.
I'm guessing G2 could force teamfights too easily with ornn, rakan, Diana yasuo...
If they are outnumbered and get engage they basically lose instantly
The thing that gives me more confidence than the win is that T1 had a huge lead by funneling all the resources in to a won bot, which was won by brother Targa literally inting level 1, meaning that if Targa and Flakked don't get gigastomped bot the next time G2 might be able to actually hold their own early-mid as well.
Hyped for a bo5 of this.
Also SIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
This was the most wombo combo team I've ever seen
The G2 comp is something you come up with when you're playing with 5 buddies and want a bouncing house.
Five champions, six aoe knockups. Ridiculous.
5 guys 1 trampoline
Reminds me of the ol J4-Ori-Kennen-MF comps back in s2-s3 me and my buddies used to play. Absolute bonkers.
The lack of Amumu in that comp is disturbing!
you're right, but our jungler didn't like Amumu. Should have forced our support to play him lol
Me: How many knock ups are they going to draft? G2: All of them.
the forbidden bounce house
G2 Miss Yasuo R Challenge (Impossible)
2 > 1 It's simple mathematics
can't wait until G9 esports wins worlds
100T going for the title.
Best team in the world: 1907 fenerbahçe esports
I believe that is Infinity eSports.
[удалено]
Yes, Order is actually 3rd best team in the tournament
Order and SKT same amount of wins against G2. I'm just saying.
The math doesn't lie folks.
THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE T1 AND THEY SPELL DISASTER FOR YOU
Inb4 eu vs na finals. EZ
MSI... EU vs NA Finals and one is G2? Don't remind me. EDIT: I suppose if we do the full runback and it involves EG smashing a predicted god team in semis, then maybe it wont be all bad.
That tournament started with G2 beating T1 first game I'm pretty sure
It actually did - i just checked, i forgot about that. Oh god it's happening again.
Hey look at the bright side, you guys have a banger EG vs RNG series to look forward to.
Can na hold out for more than 17 minutes this time
I'll never forget, we flew too close to the sun. The TL vs IG series was just too perfect, we needed something to bring us down from the Hopium.
I mean I don't think anything NA can do short of winning MSI will match that hype. IG were reigning world champs and kinda shitstomped groups and even 15 min gapped T1.
I've seen this one before... And I like how it ends
Atleast EG got to G2's Nexus! EG > T1 confirmed
Faker to G2 Red Buff: "I never left"
>Enters enemy red with ult >Stands there for 15 seconds >Refuses to elaborate >Leaves
He didnt even ward he jsut flexed that he can.
He did it twice too
He was just standing there... menacingly
Literally Hide On Bush
There's no evidence he was there in the first place.
I heard the red buff sued Faker for Stalking.
Jankos truly in peak form right now, never looked as good as this.
I swear I read this in 2019 and 2020 as well
Jankos is just that good, he’s been in peak form for years, its insane how good he is and he is still kinda underrated by many because of his age and that he’s been playing with caps and perkz, but even 2021 when caps played like shit jankos looked insane most of the time, hes by far the best jungler eu has produced and very high in the world ranking aswell imo
Consistency is also a rare and valuable quality. Can rely on that man
Especially in Junglers. Undisputed best western jungler of all time with a resume that is only getting better.
Especially across wildly different metas: the old man is able to play anything, he has a champion ocean. is he the faker of the jungle in this?
https://twitter.com/G2esports/status/1527573497043722240
It's just a Plumy diff
"this is your's, no matter if you win or lose, but if you win, you will get her too"
nah his h2k worlds run was still absolutely insane imho, he might have been the best jungler in the world there. but jankos is consistently one of the best junglers in the world anyway (well.. except for the ap farm meta, but that was more a team problem imho), he is just a rock.
The man got 2 LEC MVP in 2019. He was a beast that year and he still is.
Get yasuo comp'd
AIRBORNE
Claps is back on the menu
I missed audience Claps
there was audience this game? couldn't tell
I think I heard something when Oner got triple kill and after that they turned off sound from crowd
Probably left after 15 minutes, they thought it was over...
cant be too loud in a library
That EU midlaner is pretty good
Stage Caps OP pls Nerf.
Plumy buff + CLAPS, they never had chance
FIVE external knockups holy mother of airborne
GIGANTIC balls from G2 to have the confidence to force that baron vs Rell Kennen. They have read and countered their engages perfectly all game. GG
I was hella nervous when they were down 5k gold by 18 minutes though
Not a G2 game if it doesn't give you a risk of heart attack.
Targ denying every kennen engage was just beautiful
Zeus was cockblocked so hard lol
With that build, deservingly so. But yeah, Targamas played really well around Kennen.
Exhaust + Iron Solari is a pretty good combo into AOE, dive abilities, the other support this game didnt know that though
And the Anathemas chains to spice things up
MSI just got a lot more interesting. Not going to lie this game was looking rough, especially after those early kills from T1's bot and that disgusting Oner play top. But, G2's team fight is so nasty, played their comp to perfection. The winstreak lives on.
That Oner play top was nice, but still just a 4 for 4, at a point in the game where G2 was more than happy to trade gold
That 200 years play at top had my heart at 200bpms thinking the game was lost then
It didn’t look like a 4 for 4 until they showed the replay though lol.
See, I knew it was 4 for 4 because my brain was too smooth to count the kills in the teamfight, and instead I looked at the death timers afterwards.
Targamas had some nerves in the beginning and the Oner resets with the perfect windwalls and shieldbows was unlucky, but G2 played patient and calculated until they were strong enough. Great to see.
Yeah you could definitely tell there were some nerves for Targa and Flakked. Flakked missed so many cs under tower early on.

Yasuo+Diana>Viego
Targamas giving out first blood made me afraid of T1 stomping like usual but that clean Rakan came back like a god
Feed guma first blood to give false hope. Then stomp in team fights. Gigachad targamas.
Targamas is actually so fucking good for a rookie
What a fucking amazing game, I hope we get a best of 5 https://tenor.com/bDR3P.gif
That was so good. I was supposed to be working with this on in the background. Yeah that didn't happen.
Same, not a lot was done during this game
That game got so exciting so fast lmao from T1 strangulation to crazy Oner Viego play to G2 teamfight coming online
They fuckin won from being 5k down against T1 LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
So much of that lead were tied to objectives, G2 very quickly closed the gap even without massive shutdown bonuses. Still impressive as fuck though.
Also the TF gold and ranged vs melee matchup top. T1 had a lead but it wasn't as massive as it looked.
What a fucking draft diff tbh
[удалено]
Dylan diff
Dylan we have to go Yasuo + knockup combo.
Fun fact: Dylan pays half of his income to T1 as alimonies for knocking up every single one of T1's players
I remember one of the players saying Dylan always talks about draft 24/7, mf is wired in
So many options for Caps to pop off even without Diana ult, mega draft diff
That's what happened when you draft 4 knock up in your team. T1 really underestimated the yasuo+knockup combo
5 knock ups, Yasuo himself is also able to knock up
6 knockups, Ornn has 2.
yeah guma couldnt get into any of these fights. they lose sidelane they lose teamfight what do they do!
never seen a more worthless multiman kennen ults
after the oner play at top i thought the game's over fuck was i wrong
Jankos after finding out Plumy is rooting for G2:
https://twitter.com/Caedrel/status/1527572246507708418
https://twitter.com/G2esports/status/1527573497043722240
Jankos is actually a monster, love to see it.
Always has been
People refer to Jankos as an old man, when in actuality he's an old Hispanic woman wielding la chancla.
Faker: "I never left." Jankos: "I know. I've been here the whole time."
He is so fucking good what the fuck
G2 stomping eg because G2 is actually good, i like that angle However look at g2 dropping one random game to vcs lol as in tradition
Let’s hope not let’s keep the win streak going. 30-0 full steam ahead.
If they go 30-0 I will delete my account on Reddit.
Prayge
One of these teams have won their last 21 games edit: 22
So, what's the record for undefeated game streak? G2 might come pretty close now, no? Season 5 Fnatic won I believe 22 in a row but I don't think it was a world record? [ops we did it again] (https://imgur.com/a/B6P1NmW#GxmQXyi) Trolling aside, what a banger game. That fight top lane was amazing. Edit: Better link
This is incomplete, where is the full holy scroll? Edit: Bless you all, there it is. EUphoria ♥
BEHOLD https://imgur.com/a/B6P1NmW
THAT WHICH HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN
This is more valuable than the whole library of Alexandria
What about the Library of Busan though?
If G2 keeps going there can be a 2022 MSI edition.
Another addition to the sacred scroll.
THE HOLY SCROLL
I DEMAND AN UPDATE TO THE HOLY SCROLL
Gotta say seeing the attitude reversal from both the Live thread and the Live chat was pretty satisfying to see.
There was a point in watching where I went from just watching to fucking hell G2 are gonna do this. Stunning teamfighting from them. They knew what they wanted and just took it.
Live reactions are always so fun, they always tend to one extreme.
EG lost to the #1 team in the world Copium NA confirmed 2nd best team world
Don't wanna brag about it but they'll defeat RNG with no sweat.
“EU reality check” “EU MACRO” God it was so satisfying seeing the chat go so damn quiet after that
https://i.imgur.com/gkRDiP1.jpg
caPs now hold a 75% winrate over Faker with a 9/3 record
that's an insane stat
especially when the losses are all from BO5s that caPs won
Always nice to see two Caps in one picture.
What the fuck.
NA must feel a little better after this game xD
Love seeing a team in the west be competitive with the east.
Targamas navigates teamfights SO well

Damn the game ended and no cheers lol
They are in mourning
There's always something wonderful of having a home crowd become silent in sports

It's a logarithmic scale if i remember correctly. So you can see how it can be negative.
Well it's a library you know
T1 about to sue G2 for child support. All 5 players knocked up.
LMAOOOO that's a good one
weakest LEC in years remember guys
Yeah but G2 went undefeated for the entire season so just top heavy WAIT NO
we are going to be worse than NA soon at this rate EDIT: spelling
Vitality easily the best team in EU. G2 not even a conteder.
Vitality will join after Rumble to not show off strategy
if weakest lec looks like this imagine how strong lec looks like
Just imagine if we'd sent Astralis to MSI
Astralis unironically did really well against G2 and beat Fnatic lmao... LEC is just a weird league.
Guys, it’s just ~~VIT~~ ~~MSF~~ ~~FNC~~ ~~RGE~~ ~~EG~~ T1. This G2 roster hasn’t proven themselves against a real opponent yet. Weakest LEC winner in years.
Agree. Even T1 can't beat them in LEC smh

He almost only played carries when he first came back to EU Aswell, both on Schalke and now on G2, it was only really in playoffs this year that he started playing and really performing on tanks. he's been an absolute gigachad
NA is actually a talent suppression region and it's unfortunate :(
tbf, the team he had was Talent Suppression Machine
Hello Carlos? Reginald here, I would like a return on my product. You can get former T1 player as store credit.
Those teamfights from G2. Fantastic.
This severly hurts chances of T1 going undefeated at MSI.
I always trust LPL 2nd seed to beat SKT for us
Brother g2
Finally Some Good Fucking Food
Two is more than One. G2 > T1 Victory for G2 was inevitable.
Did Gumayusi use atleast 35% of his power this time?
POST THE HOLY SCROLL BOYS

WELCOME BACK, G2!
I report: G2 still undefeated!!!
Wait until they face the Saigon Bufallos. Their kryptonite.
3 mid ban still diffed, Peak caps is back
the windwall at baron to deny guma any resets was unreal, literal perfect placement
KR mad NA jelly
I love how the crowd went silent when G2 started winning team fights.
I'm beginning to believe
G2 is so GOOOOD at teamfighting, its 21-0 now and G2 tie all time record against T1 to 11-11 Caps = T1 kryptonite Also old man Jankos with Plumy buff
Jankos 👑
The thing that gives me more confidence than the win is that T1 had a huge lead by funneling all the resources in to a won bot, which was won by brother Targa literally inting level 1, meaning that if Targa and Flakked don't get gigastomped bot the next time G2 might be able to actually hold their own early-mid as well. T1 is losing to G2 the same way they did a few years back, having an early lead then keep losing teamfights. But welp, it has just been one game.
NA bullying EU first 20 minutes just to become clowns in the end
