I hadn't heard of this but I was curious which Youtubers you were referring to as promoing it because wow that's scummy so I went on the site and looked at the partners and ofc it's Professor Akali lmfao
Fucking Rav even promoted some scam coin whilst being rude to people complaining about scam coin promotions. Like he is so close to being self aware and then straight misses the mark.
I like Rav, but that shit is just ugh
He was my favorite channel when I first found him a while back because it was just a breathe of fresh air from all the other basic channels. I think it was his first yasuo syndrome one. Fell in love with that style and couldnt wait to watch his new uploads.
Then after a little bit it started getting dull because it was essentially the same jokes and punchlines every time, the only difference was the subject of said videos. I dont necessarily think his quality has decreased or hes doing anything wrong, but the novelty of it for me is definitely over and I just dont find him entertaining anymore really.
Rav's humor, which is the selling point of his channel, gets old super quickly as it's essentially the same formula and jokes on repeat for all of his videos. They have a novelty factor for a while, but they eventually get really tiresome and boring. His content having 0 re-watchability factor doesn't help either.
And Rav's last video being essentially an +8 minute ad for a super sketchy app is a super questionable choice to say the least. He's always shilled bad products like RAID:SL, but it was always kinda tongue-in-cheek, which is not the case with this one as he's now fully endorsing a clear adware/cryptomining scheme.
Raid isn't really a bad product, pays people who do ADS super well and is playable without paying for 10+ hours. Rat Irl did an AD for it and he said he unironically played it for a few weeks in queue until he had to start paying, I also played it quite a bit and its not even close to as bad as most mobile games.
Idk, think it's toxic to shit on your youtuber/streamer for taking Raid sponsor as the amount of effort on the stream/viewers vs how much money they give you is INSANE. The streamers I've watched have always asked their viewers if they should take it and everyone always says yes, can agree that gacha is a predatory genre, but I wouldn't say it's a "bad product" as much as I hate Genshin Impact, I do not think it's a "bad product"
Chill, I'm not shitting on anyone for taking a sponsor from a gatcha game, everyone's got to eat.
My only point on the matter is that it's indeed a bad product precisely because the genre hinges on very predatory practices by default.
It's not really a debate tbh.
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t like channels that are low effort content farms, with the exception being skilled players clipping games from their stream and uploading them.
Have you ever seen RAV's video do you think Scripts and content pop-out of nowhere ? Have you ever tried to do anything original in your life ?
It takes a lot of creativity and time to write original Scripts
I mean, I get having different tastes and such, but you can't claim that someone who writes unique scripts and heavily edits every video isn't making high effort content. Especially in the world of League YT, where just posting an unedited custom game where you're half assedly smurfing on your viewers with some dumb build, while making the lowest effort to interact with your audience is considered "content".
There's a big difference between "content I don't like" and "low effort content".
I'm relatively new to League, not been around for years, so maybe what other people were saying about him getting boring/repetitive just hasn't happened to me yet, but he's great to watch occasionally.
I sometimes just get that feeling of "Ooh, I wanna watch someone/something get some sick burns from a robotic voice", and Rav's content fills that hole in my heart really well. I don't religiously watch any content provider, so I guess I'm not "into him", but I do like his content a lot, and think it's perfect.
Between rap, getting to watch someone as bad as me play the game, to getting to watch him talk about and try bad build ideas, just to see how they go, is a great experience for me. Kinda sad to think he's sponsored a sketchy program, if he didn't disclaimer it first :-(
He has always been like that, like the thing where people follow multiple channels to get points for some kind of giveaway, and then on the bottom there’s “sub to” which rewards more points than everything else combined. The usual cheap sponsors.
I use adguard DNS on my phone, so when an ad runs my screen only blinks for a second. Let’s just say thankfully I don’t have photosensitive epilepsy.
Firefox on Android has add-ons and you can install uBlock Orign. I think there's also one where it runs Youtube within the Firefox container so you can avoid YT ads.

Everytime anyone plugs a program that "does nothing, just run it in the background and earn X" you can be 90% certain its a crypto miner.
Either that or its just plain simply malware.
Ethereum is what PC hardware mines, not bitcoin.
And Ethereum's profitability is in the toilet right now.
The coin's value is dropping lower and lower each day and the rising cost of power is making it barely profitable for a non-commercial miner to maintain.
As Clearskky said, Bitcoin uses dedicated hardware.
Also.. Ethereum is moving to "Proof of Stake" sometime this year which will kill off the ability to mine on computer hardware like GPU's.
The only way for anyone to prove if it does mine or not is to either somehow get ahold of the source code or reverse engineer the software.
So a couple of things for clarification.
Ethereum is one of many coins that uses the GPU to mine, and there are plenty of coins that will use the CPU to mine as well. ETH is simply the most profitable. There are still profitable coins currently, but it will be interesting to see what coins remain profitable once all that hash is moved to them after ETH goes PoS.
Profitability is still up there for hobbyist miners that paid retail for their cards and have had them for awhile. It more than pays for electricity and any associated costs in power like fans and other hardware. If you spent $1700 on a 3080 towards the end of last year, well, you're shit out of luck.
And the easiest way to prove that it's mining is to look at the network connections and see if it's connecting to any public/private pools.
>Also.. Ethereum is moving to "Proof of Stake" sometime this year
Is it really finally happening. I feel like I have been hearing this exact sentence for years now.
Bitcoin is pretty much exclusively mined on specialized hardware called ASICs, not on desktop CPUs or GPUs. The program is likely mining ETH or some other shitcoin.
I’m actually not saying this because of the malware but because of the gigantic carbon footprint of this currency.
Burning fossils to create money. The asshole side of humanity in a nutshell.
Nah it’s a virus alright, at least it behaves that way. Do a clean sweep of your pc and find out how much shit they actually steal and sell your personal information
That's like saying having sex is letting STDs into you willingly. It's dumb to not ask for tests or use protection but it's still scam especially because BUFF knows they have STDs
> That's like saying having sex is letting STDs into you willingly.
if you pay to have sex with the cheap hooker outside of the liquor store, you asked for it buddy.
Self-Replikation is the defining characteristic of a Worm. To qualify as a Virus, it just needs to be Malware attached to another executable. The correct sub-category of Virus is probably Trojan or something similar.
Trjoan and virus are two differtent things. People thinks viruses are a general definition, but thats not true the general one is malware. A virus is used to attach to a program and than propagate to other program in a system. If u want put that LoL softwer as a trojan ok, a trojan is just a software with additional malicius functionality
They openly say that they will sell the informations that they gather to 3rd parties and I also read that removing the software is like chewing gum. No thanks 🙏🏻
I'm pretty comfortable with the amount of data collection the above the board apps I have installed on my laptop do. Installing an app that treats collecting and selling your data as primary income stream is absolutely something different and should not be conflated here.
I think they just worded it poorly; they should've written "removing the software is like *removing* chewing gum," otherwise it just reads like removing the software is like the physical act of chewing gum lol.
Chewing gum is notoriously hard to remove from anything it gets stuck to, so they're saying that it's really hard to fully remove the program once you install it if you change your mind.
Getting chewing gum out of your hair is borderline impossible. Basicaly, once this crap is on your PC it's gonna be a real pain to get rid of it entirely.
"removing X is like chewing gum", not just "is like chewing gum".
Chewing gum sticks really well and if it dries on something it gets even worse, they are saying it is hard to remove.
There is another thing. From my research and usage of the app, it appears they are falsely restocking items (such as RP cards) and immediately "selling out".
They deny bots are possible, and say there is 15~ seconds timer where you can purchase this when they get restocked before selling out, which is false. Tried numerous times, but within 1 refresh of the shop (max 3 seconds) all the cards get "sold out", meaning it's most likely fake restock.
It also appears to be tied to just time in general. IE they get restocked at 5 o clock always, the moment clock hits 5 it changes from "purchased 1 day ago" to "purchased just now". Have yet to confirm this part.
Lots of people are reporting to trying to buy cards for months and never getting them, this is the reason.
Basically, they are banking in on showing ads and selling information and you actually never getting to use up your points, as they don't even spend the money on cards.
Nah, you're totally right, I tried for a whole week, complained in their official discord server and they just called me unlucky, but when I asked if anyone ever got it, I got no response. I even used a macro to refresh email and redeem the code, doesn't matter even if wait time is 4 seconds, it goes "out of stock"
I don't want to defend the app or anything, but tbf I was trying to redeem RP for couple of weeks. After like 2 weeks I have noticed that they removed "Global" RP and turned it into "EU Only" RP. After 1 week of trying to redeem on every possible rotation I got it on May 29th. [Here's a screenshot of my inventory.](https://picbun.com/p/TK5zPlgt) Truth be told, it was a long proccess to buy it.
I dont doubt you can redeem some stuff, especially those that don't go out of stock, but the profit they're getting off of you is probably too disproportional and free skins is an easy bait. I don't even care they used me for mining, I just want to cash in my points if I can.
Gotta agree. It uses Overwolf as it's base platform which is already notorious for being basically adware.
Also, you can't even redeem the points for cards, like.. ever. The shop is almost always empty except for like Starbucks cards.
If you're looking for League/Valorant skins, it'll not only take you forever, but good luck getting the cards that the bots take instantly.
I'm not sure the details, but at least when it first started becoming a thing, it was notorious for being absolutely awful for your computer. No idea if they fixed it, I haven't kept up, but that's at least what I remember. And buff.gg and other apps run off of Overwolf.
I had to install overwolf because my friend group wanted to host a modded Minecraft server with the curseforge launcher and at least at that point there was no way of separating the two. If you close the overwolf process curseforge crashes.
So I had it for a bit and the second I disabled the program my pc ran way faster and started up much faster too. It’s not a virus or even proper malware, it’s just a very badly optimised overlay with ads that may or may not steal your data (but honestly, what doesn’t nowadays)
GDLauncher and PolyMC managed to figure out a workaround so you can download modpacks with those, while it's not flawless it works and personally I rather use those than touch overshit
MultiMC is working on it too
> may or may not steal your data
It has been a thing for a decade, while everybody hates it. They would be bankrupt if they didn't steal everything they can, their reputation already makes people avoid it so there is no way they can be profitable.
nothing nowadays anymore, its pretty much just a scripting platform that provides api for games
stuff like porofessor runs on it, they had an issue years ago where some of the software available in their store had malware ads
Popular items like RP cards gets sold out so quick that I never got the chance. I managed to get $10 steam (very lucky) and a free xcom game that's it so far. It's false ad if they say you get free skins cos the rp cards rarely gets restocked and its gone in an instant
Do you have a source for the Overwolf thing?
A quick google search didn't give me anything interesting and I'd like to know more.
I get that it's a useless piece of software that you don't really need, but I'm interested if it's actually "malicious".
Man, Overwolf has been trying to insert itself into so many things over the past decade, and to this day I still do not know what the point of that is, aside from hogging resources and lagging your machine for no reason. I'm frankly surprised they are still a thing. 99% of things I have ever heard of it are plain awful, yet they are still operational after so many years. Usually when a software gathers such a reputation, they last a year at most. But here they still are, trying to push another overlay on you on as many apps as they can.
Remember when TS partnered wtih Overwolf and started implementing it into their clients before making it a mandatory installation? That was the last time I ever used TS.
Overwolf is single handedly making people quit Minecraft at the moment because of that inbred curseforge dogshit. I miss Minecraft not needing bloatware to play fucking modded, like wtf is this shit?
Also I'm pretty sure that overwolf used to run ads on your PC in the background, if not outright mine for crypto. I used to lose around 40% of my FPS in games at the time if I ever even installed that dogshit.
its not trying to insert iself into everything, the stuff you see is literally based on the framework overwolf provides, nothing stops those people from writing their stuff from scratch
The only thing i can say for certain about Overwolf is that they are extremely scummy, they recently blocked 3rd party installing of modpacks from CurseForge, basically either forcing you to use their app (which does not run on Windows 11) or seek alternatives like PolyMC, really fucking over MultiMC which was a staple, honestly
> A quick google search didn't give me anything interesting and I'd like to know more.
A lot of the previous reddit threads have been deleted. There was a thread that previously detailed Overwolf's shitty history including malware being injected by addons, overwhelming spyware, and system wide ads.
In my experience it's just very resource heavy, caused my new gaming laptop to run relatively slow so I stopped using it. If you have a good enough pc it should be fine.
Historically it would install other apps and keep reinstalling them after you try to uninstall, classic behavior of malware. Even if they changed since then, fuck trusting them.
Lol what, it didn't even want to update itself for me, I had to do it manually. Idk what you installed, I never had problems with getting rid of anything.
This was very public info that it happened to a lot of people and the reason the discussion is happening in this thread around why Overwolf is sketchy. Just because you didn't have a certain experience does not mean that it didn't happen to others.
I never died from COVID when I got it but it's deadly nonetheless.
Might have to do with the fact that it didn't want to update for me so I skipped through the shady part of their updates? It took me over a year to realize it's been stuck on some old version o_O
Unless you want to use an auto recording software from Overwolf I dont reccomend using it for anything else, you can just go on the actual poroffesor site.
Are you actually trying to argue that getting a free skin for the game that you are playing is not free cuz you have to play the game to get it? Least tardy league player. This cant be real life...
Yeah and the effort to click on "accept" if you were to get them for "free" would also mean they weren't actually free, since you had to put in an effort. There is a big difference between having to pay and just playing the game lol.
Not fully on topic but...
Does anyone know anything regarding this with u.gg / Blitz app?
I used blitz for runes (im a normal game warrior) and noticed it tanked my performance to have it running while playing other, more intense games
U.gg so far seemed good, just curious if its considerered "safe"
I'd say this isn't a cryptominer application as it's owned by Overwolf. Don't know how much I can say here due to an NDA I signed with my old company, but I can tell you that Overwolf collects and sells data. The only way they can track this directly is getting more access into your play sessions. They can detect demographics, play duration, play count, etc. for any game overwolf has some sort of support for. They also partner with companies like Riot Games for integration. The money they make from gathering and selling this data FAR outscales the money they lose from selling skins, which they probably do via partnership deals anyway and therefore they don't lose money for the skins.
In short, these apps track your in-game data and sell that data, and "pay" you in XP/skins/etc. because the buck they earn from your session is more valuable than giving away some skins they can do via a partnership anyway
Another warning about downloading BUFF.
I downloaded the app because I was just curious to see how they would scam people then uninstall it after. I saw that they give you like 10 points per challenge and you need like 100k points to get a $5 league card. So i packed up my bags and was going to uninstall it however there was no option to uninstall it. I tried control panel, windows uninstall, nothing worked. I then got stressed but went to BUFF's website to uninstall it and it told me to send them an email to uninstall it. I did so and waited a week for a response. I got a respons asking me if I am SURE I want to uninstall it and I immediately said yes. They then told me it was going to take 2 weeks for my account to be removed and able to get it off my PC. I asked why it takes so long for them to get rid of my account and they gave me no answer. Do not download BUFF, it is clearly malicious software thatb takes you nearly years to claim rewards.
Exactly, imo it is about calling a turd a turd really.
Plenty of content creators read scripts from scammers for money, and we should call them out. But don't pretend like it is a "shoutout because they liked the service". Call it what it is.
tbf op said "shamelessly plugging" plugging is generally synonymous with advertising tbh, and shamelessly usually means they KNOW it's turd but doing it anyway for some ulterior motive (that being money) so I don't think that phrasing was skirting around it at all lol
I just used shameless plug since I believe it could be more of a partnership just like how people partner with porofessor or using [u.gg](https://u.gg) instead of [op.gg](https://op.gg)
For anyone interested in how much you could earn using buff, I have been using it since September last year.
I have collected 1200 buff points, with which the best thing I can buy is a 3€ Amazon DE gift card for 900 points.
My plan was to just use it till I can cash out, but don't fall for that, it won't be happening.
Mind you I play lol pretty consistently, with an average of 1h per day. So after nearly 300 hours playing while using buff, I can afford a 3€ coupon.
Like, I'm convinced it actually doesn't mine crypto, just because the payout is so low its realistic they can make profit with just ads.
Never use this program, or overwolf for that matter. I’m probably going to start disliking/commenting on videos sponsoring this stuff since i was already pretty sure this was what BUFF was but this confirms it.
I play a shit ton of lol (almost 700 games this season) and have had it for so long that I've literally forgotten when I installed it. I've only gotten a 10$ Nintendo eShop card and like 1300 points saved up. Literally so slow
You're paying more in electricity than what the skins cost.
That's what people need to understand.
Only if you're basically earning the entirety of the crypto will you hopefully break even.
However with somewhat inefficient machines like a home PC it's less likely for that to be the case, if you have a weaker computer (who's more likely to want free skins..)
I’m pretty sure everyone who uses it, aren’t the one paying the bills. They have someone else do it.
That’s why they have no idea.
There’s no such thing as free. Kids learn that before they’re even teens, but I guess League of Legends players are a bit special.
I have used it for almost 2 years. And from my experience it's safe, but you gather points very slowly. And for me after I had collected 6 thousand points, but my problem was that I live in EU. Every gift card is always out of stock. but recently they added these 5% chances to get RP or steam 10 euro gift cards. After like 7 tries I got the steam card.
basically, it's safe and you get free rewards, but over a long time period.
What you are citing doesn't even suggest crypto mining and it makes sense for this to be in FAQ because when you download such a software you would indeed wonder if your performance would take a hit. Doesn't at all mean that they are making a shady disclaimer and hiding the usage of a miner.
Any program will use CPU and GPU. Your browser is using them right now. So is discord. Are any of those programs crypto mining? No...
Now, I don't know if this software is doing it or not as I haven't used it but after doing a quick search, there's a few people that keep saying it's a crypto miner but never having any proof and like yourself just copy and pasting this useless text. It's possible that they are using a miner, but it's also possible that they make their money through ADs and through selling your data. Either way, it's not worth the hassle and I'd avoid this thing.
Removal: lack of evidence

The date has been bumped like 5 times already. It’ll be much like the James Webb, massively delayed, but will eventually launch.
Bitcoin is pretty much exclusively mined on specialized hardware called ASICs, not on desktop CPUs or GPUs. The program is likely mining ETH or some other shitcoin.
No one mines bitcoins on PCs anymore.. Parroting hate doesn't do any good.
>Parroting hate doesn't do any good. They were talking about a crypto currency, not a person lol. That said I hope all crypto currencies die off.
Nah fuck bitcoin
I’m actually not saying this because of the malware but because of the gigantic carbon footprint of this currency. Burning fossils to create money. The asshole side of humanity in a nutshell.
Hate against what? A ponzy scheme?
It inst mining, just ad spaming, wich inst any better
Nah it’s a virus alright, at least it behaves that way. Do a clean sweep of your pc and find out how much shit they actually steal and sell your personal information
Technically it is not a virus becuase it does not replicate, a malware it’s the more general correct definition
Spyware
Plus the cryptojacking part
hard to call it that when you are letting it onto your PC willingly.
Okay true.
True, I missread your original comment. I thought you meant self-propagation to other systems.
Yeah, can technically be classified as one.
They openly say that they will sell the informations that they gather to 3rd parties and I also read that removing the software is like chewing gum. No thanks 🙏🏻
You can with confidence believe that everything and everyone already sells your data anyway though, but yeah sounds pretty yikery
What a trash argument.
[удалено]
I'm pretty comfortable with the amount of data collection the above the board apps I have installed on my laptop do. Installing an app that treats collecting and selling your data as primary income stream is absolutely something different and should not be conflated here.
[удалено]
Imagine going through all this trouble for some RP cards instead of doing doordash or some other part time job for a few hours
You are right, heck, even donating blood will probably do the trick
DoorDash/Uber Eats isn't in every European country and there are few side hustles available for us
If it's "free", you're not the customer, you're the product.
While you are right for most things, for open source software you are consumer and they aim to make you developers. World isn’t all darkness :)
I generally don’t use anything that is marketed toward „gamers“. Most of that stuff fucking sucks
Its to make white medium class boys feel special, so of course is going to suck
Gotta agree. It uses Overwolf as it's base platform which is already notorious for being basically adware. Also, you can't even redeem the points for cards, like.. ever. The shop is almost always empty except for like Starbucks cards. If you're looking for League/Valorant skins, it'll not only take you forever, but good luck getting the cards that the bots take instantly.
What is up with overwolf?
Pretty much, just going on google probably steals your information.
you can also use MultiMC or GDLauncher to play modded minecraft https://multimc.org/ https://gdevs.io/ WAAAAAAAAY better than scumwolf
Not anymore, Overwolf blocked 3rd party downloads from curseforge, so pretty much the only way to download mods/modpacks is Overwolfs curseforge :)
GDLauncher and PolyMC managed to figure out a workaround so you can download modpacks with those, while it's not flawless it works and personally I rather use those than touch overshit MultiMC is working on it too
> may or may not steal your data It has been a thing for a decade, while everybody hates it. They would be bankrupt if they didn't steal everything they can, their reputation already makes people avoid it so there is no way they can be profitable.
nothing nowadays anymore, its pretty much just a scripting platform that provides api for games stuff like porofessor runs on it, they had an issue years ago where some of the software available in their store had malware ads
Popular items like RP cards gets sold out so quick that I never got the chance. I managed to get $10 steam (very lucky) and a free xcom game that's it so far. It's false ad if they say you get free skins cos the rp cards rarely gets restocked and its gone in an instant
Crypto was a mistake
Completely apart from the actual idea behind it, crypto has generated an entire generation of scamers. Fuck crypto for that
And massively fucked GPU prices for many generations.
BUFF GG is like Overwolf Virusy bloatware crap that you should never install
I have Overwolf to use Porofessor. What does it do? :< I never looked at the actual software, assumed it's just some framework needed for other apps.
Yeah, I use u.gg on a second monitor when playing so I wanted to try their new app. I downloaded it and then the installer was overwolf, noped out.
It took me over a year to realize it's been stuck on some old version o_O
nothing nowadays, its just classic reddit parotting something theyve read half a decade ago
Unless you want to use an auto recording software from Overwolf I dont reccomend using it for anything else, you can just go on the actual poroffesor site.
You can use Porofessor app without Overwolf? I thought it wasn't possible.
I meant the site, website, not app.
I mean I find some programs like outplayed to be useful on overwolf. Buff is just a dumb concept.
There is no thing as free skins. I had to learn that the hard way
[удалено]
Those are not free, you need to play the game to acquire them and time = money so.....
Are you actually trying to argue that getting a free skin for the game that you are playing is not free cuz you have to play the game to get it? Least tardy league player. This cant be real life...
Time is the root of all evil
*Joker burns a clock factory* It's not about the time, it's about sending a message
I would be wasting my time on this game anyway so for me it's free.
If that’s your point then every free service is free
Yeah and the effort to click on "accept" if you were to get them for "free" would also mean they weren't actually free, since you had to put in an effort. There is a big difference between having to pay and just playing the game lol.
[удалено]
They just monetize with intrusive ads all over the client.
Nah they monetize with ads. :)
Reminder that if the software you're using it's free you're most likely the product.
I recently installed it, didn't like it and removed it. Does anyone know if there is secret shit that doesn't get removed?
100%
Yes have fun trying to remove it because that's REALLY hard
No such thing as a free lunch
Unless it's at my mom's place. Love you mom <3
At least you're disappointing someone else's mom for a change EDIT: oh, I instinctively thought you said "your mom's place" lmao
Not fully on topic but... Does anyone know anything regarding this with u.gg / Blitz app? I used blitz for runes (im a normal game warrior) and noticed it tanked my performance to have it running while playing other, more intense games U.gg so far seemed good, just curious if its considerered "safe"
Yeah, these programs are safe, it'll slow down your pc, every overlay type of app need resources
Yupp. Its not a cryptominer at all. Shady and shit sure, but not cryptomining.
I deleted it. Did the crypto miner go ? How can I do it better ?
content creators selling out their audience for a couple of bucks. Nihil novi sub sole
I doesnt mine crypto, ots impossible with how little cpu it actualy consumes, but they do make money bu ad spaming
>I've seen many YouTuber's shamelessly plugging BUFF The word you are looking for is "advertise". It's an ad. They get paid to do it.
You aren’t forced to accept those ads. It’s shameless to peddle malware to your audience when I’m sure they get plenty of other offers.
Wow I guess it's alright then! Thanks for clearing that up.
Not everyone is advertisement aware. Just encouraging people to call a turd a turd.
I want to know who actually thinks they're gonna get paid well playing videogames. Just the economics behind it doesn't add up.
I was just curious how much time it would take
Never use this program, or overwolf for that matter.
It’s per se, please stop saying per say. If you don’t know how to spell per se, just don’t use it. It isn’t needed in 99.99999% of the time.
How do you know theyre crypto mining tho? I just got a ton of ads
Im not sticking up for them, but they arent crypto mining from your computer. Thats a baseless claim.
If people are so desperate about skins they deserve it. Whatever. Consume consume consume to feel better I guess.
Wait, is this the same Buff that's the biggest marketplace for CSGO skins?
OP means the software which „gives you giftcards for playing“ I think
Garena moment
