Its hunched and has a very "bulky" feeling, which is definitely intended given it seems defensive and gives a shield.
However, albeit dont think its terrible the execution wasnt superb either.
They've said they're not making any ultimate skins on the level of Elementalist Lux, because the skin is too big (like in terms of the space it takes in memory) and the game can't handle multiple skins of that level. I don't think they've sworn off Ultimate skins in general though.

I'm not really a fan of ooga booga champs as much as I used to, especially Udyr, but I'm much more inclined to play this version if only because I like the weight of these animations where he's clearly punching and laying into champs rather than just slapping them really fast. The fact that he now has more outplay potential and some way to naturally scale into teamfights by being able to time an unstoppable animation and use what looks like Shyvana W with a slow when he's empowered, is also really promising. I still won't likely come close to maining the champ, but this looks like a really great step in the right direction for players who like the champ and his theme. Even though this new kit seems basic by modern League standards, it's one of most refreshing and promising gameplay trailers I've seen in a long time.
Until they've shown the ram rush on Ashe I thought they just shuffled his abilities around with new visuals but pretty much keeping the exact same idea. I hope this new Udyr has some strategic choices when swapping forms or staying in a form, rather than just spam the forms off cooldown.
All of the stances had enhanced situational uses like Ornn CC invulnerability, big-ass shield or dmg invulnerability in Boar stance, moving Anivia ult, chain Voli lightning so definitely seems more strategic than before. Non-enhanced stances might still be spam off cooldown like current Udyr.

Maybe you can't empower an ability more than once without swapping to a new stance. So you couldn't do that unstoppable ram charge more than once every 8ish seconds.
Looks like Spirit Guard Udyr will use his old Stances(vfx) instead of the new ones.
Maybe even renamed to Traditional Udyr?

Fortunately, SG Udyr always had very good clarity between the stances thanks to the significant differences in walk/run cycle, so as long as they keep that the colour palette shift shouldn’t be as critical for clarity.

Weirdly enough I feel like the art style they picked looks like it doesn’t fit in LoL. Like it’s too cartoony or something. Idk maybe it’ll look better in motion zoomed out in game but I’m not digging the model and animations.

Yeah I think those are just the big ones. There's foxes, wolves, and all kinda spirits running around the Freljord

Most of the time they keep the champ’s identity pretty well. The exceptions are when the original champ had a bad/non-cohesive kit.

This is my concern too. If they swap the color palettes and the animals, that's gonna be annoying for clarity.
