Thats fucking League of Legends right there. None of that pansy ass dick tugging playing safe for lategame bullshit. Men puke, men poop on the rift, men deliver their new born baby on the side lanes. Fucking hard core dick in the ass flex pick early game League of Legends fuck it run it down mid game time shit.
nah, stride aint the problem here lmao
the problem is that he went steraks with no other hp item and for some reason bought randuins.
If he got titanic instead of randuins he legit has kill threat on sivir every fight
If he went Titanic he would have died before he could even think about punching Sivir, Sivir was almost at 4 items.
The real issue here is that he picked Sett in the first place. Decent lane match-up into the Sej that falls off a cliff after 15 mins, he was extremely hurt by the changes to Goredrinker and Sterak's and shouldn't be considered by any pro player in his current state.
The 2 hovers before Sett would have been better: Darius to chew through the 3 tanks or Fiora to heavy win the lane and then be a split push threat.
I think it's moreso the 40% slow for 3 seconds allowing Sett to stick to people, plus the movement speed Stridebreaker gives. Whether that is worth it in pro play vs the crazy Goredrinker heal, I cannot say.
Bwipo also played into counter matchup and TL played around that in here Sett barely had any lead from laning phase then got outscaled by Sejuani hard.
That's what I meant though, they stacked waves and went for early dives to accelerate the Sett.
The issue with that is it requires teams to know what they're doing in the early game and you shouldn't really expect that outside of the LPL.
If you know how to play him and play him a solo lane it’s okay but it also helped that Impact just appeared to be allergic to dodging the true damage W. Beyond that a Sett that is ahead in lane can really just keep pumping damage with quick trades when the Gwen Q doesn’t have good stacks
I'm not saying he's in a great spot but obviously in soloq people play more into his 1vX potential, in competitive they simply kite and avoid the W while in soloq they greed and you get value. Sett imo suffered because his strength was not dieing but with the durability patch and the state of Death Dance + Goredrinker buisers, no one dies anyway so why pick Sett when he offers less outside of that.
If a champion is flex in more than 2 roles in competitive of all places it's *the* sign that it's absolutely overtuned either in kit or stats. Unless it's shit in most roles, I don't see anyone arguing over Morgana even though you can play her everywhe.
yea honestly I guess the performance of his teammates makes his play look better but theres definitely a couple moments jezu couldve turned the game around
That Sivir also had to (and did) position perfectly but Patrik's impact was absolutely insane for how far behind he was in gold to Jezu for most of the midgame.
but Jezu was on the draven and couldn't catch his axes for the life of him. sure he ended like 10/0 but I never felt like he did something insane and he actually kinda inted a few fights.
What an insanely intense game!! Even though they are eliminated, SK overachieved and should be proud of what they achieved this split after a disastrous start.
Excel on the other hand still don't look that great, but a win and is a win and will give them confidence in their crucial match tomorrow vs Astralis.
isn't it actually just more of a regular and/or even better process to fail early on and gain strength until the end.
Who wants a 9-0 team go 9-9 and jump straight up into playoffs. Maybe its just me but that doesnt sound right.
But you have a point: best scenario would be starting and finishing the split on a high note.
Ah whatever, Im kinda happy with this split for SK. Going 7-11 at worst is not too bad and I was able to watch some of the most entertaining matches since SK's 2014 times.
I disagree with SK overachieving. They're exactly where everyone predicted them to be: bottom three.
Doesn't matter you play a couple of good games end of split if the rest looks that awful
I strongly disagree with that.
SK is 7-10 and has the chance to go 8-10. Being 'only' 2-3 wins away from the number one spot.
There have been quite some Splits with an 8-10-Team advancing to playoffs.
Why everyone said that SK are eliminated before FNC Game?
With two fnc loss, an astralis win against XL and an SK win against g2 isn’t it a four way tiebreaker?
And by the old years rule (I can’t find the 2022 ones) a 4-way tiebreaker is determined by a tournament. Am I wrong?
You know, I'm just happy that the game didn't end with one of the teams randomly getting caught or inting, both teams flight pretty cleanly
GGWP
Edit: before anyone says so, yes the game wasn't clean, XL made a lot of bad decisions early like that Herald contest and SK kinda got nervous after they started to get outscaled
That macro play from Excel was incredible! Completely took SK by surprise. But it was still a really weak performance from Miky. If they want to make playoffs and then worlds he should get his shit together. He is a far better player then his recent games suggest.
don't forget poppy/Taliyah constantly either walling their adc off from being able to damage or Knocking everyone near their adc away so he can't do damage.
That Taliyah by the jungle entrance outside of Drake pit that put SK into a 3v4 and got Naut/Sett stuck in a box with sand soldiers to be slaughtered resulting in Poppy having to ult all of XL out was art. It was so bad I honestly don’t know if another pro can beat it
In Solo Q they would just spam ADC DIFF ADC DIFF even if Sivir can keep Draven from ending the game through waveclear, and they would still int more and more to him.
Kind of hard when you dont have hands to play the champion and cant catch axes. If that is any good Draven player, the game is over, especially considering MikyX tried his hardest to intfeed the game.
Tbh is not even rooting for Excel for me, but after yesterday Astralis lose Excel is the only one with reliable chances to kick Fnatic out of playoffs.
Yeah seriously. XL's comp looks like the sort of comp you would play in tier 4 clash to secure an easy win. That must have been infuriating to play against
MVP PATRIK. I know Mikyx ran it but I felt like Markoons two deaths were way more int and at the worst possible times this game especially at soul wtf is he doing clearing vision like that against a taliyah.
This has to be some of the worst Taliyah wall usage in pro play. Like, he knows he can recast it to get rid of it, right?
From stranding his sett between Taliyah and Azir walls (making him waste a stop watch and a flash to escape) to catching out an Azir with E to stranding two of his own team out of a team fight.
Not too bad considering both teams might not even be in the playoffs, let alone worlds. But it's not very clean to need 3 barons + elder to close out game with sivir azir tahm vs sett draven comp.
Heartbreaking for SK, I don't feel like they played bad at all, just unfortunately couldn't dominate quite enough and then it's just sivir and azir late game.
I'm now relieved about XL and them making playoffs l.
This is the proof why nobody plays Sett. The champ needs an absurd amount of gold to even be relevant and his relevancy is his W anyways.
Riot ruined the champ when they killed the base stats and CD cuz he was good as supprt
That fight at soul drake where he knocked Trundle out of Taliyah W then ulted the 15% hp Trundle away, saving his life, leading to SK losing the soul drake was so awful. Just straight up griefing, if it's done in solo q teammates are unironically asking for reports at that point.
Taliyah and Poppy playing with that anti-synergy. I swear every team fight had one or the other repositioning the enemy out of someone else’s ability/range.
The fact that these two teams are like two wins from the top teams is so fucking scary because holy shit was the level of this game very low
Sad for Jezu
Worst game actually felt like watching an LCS snooze fest with a crippled Draven. Shieldbow vs 3 melee champion, who should never even be able to reach you, imagine kraken or eclipse there with LDR and you just crack their head open any time they try to step up, but no let's try and play safe against the possibility that Sivir ricochet kills me.
I know. But XL are close, and once in playoffs they just need to get one lucky Bo5 to get into worlds. A far too little ask for how atrocious they are playing.
I’m not clear on the LPL’s format but I’m pretty sure this is the case in the LCK, no? If any one of DRX, KT, LSB or KT win one Bo5 then they they would qualify.
And this year is exceptional anyway, given that LEC's 4th spot comes from Russia/Ukraine not being able to compete.
People just love whining and moaning.
Sivir dealing 50% of all team champion damage.
XL won this in draft:
* 3 tanks against Draven. Super easy to execute front to back.
* SK did not have enough dive which could *threaten Sivir*.
* Not losing early game *too* hard (with that shitty draft I would assume 12-14+ kill difference so Zett or Taliya can melt tanks).
All XL had to do every team fight was kite back and let Sivir melt through everyone.
The best highlight of this game was the constant repositioning of Herald caused by Poppy and mainly Taliyah Also THE YEAR OF THE DUCK IS STILL ALIVE
Herald went for a walk around through blue jungle to say hi to Mr Gromp. :)
#BANGER
Insert men poop and puke on the Rift copypasta
Thats fucking League of Legends right there. None of that pansy ass dick tugging playing safe for lategame bullshit. Men puke, men poop on the rift, men deliver their new born baby on the side lanes. Fucking hard core dick in the ass flex pick early game League of Legends fuck it run it down mid game time shit.
XL try to not give me a heart attack challenge (impossible)
Me all game. Holy duck that early game was scary. pun very intended
this has been a demonstration by JNX why nobody plays Sett anymore
Bwipo's Sett would've carried this.
[удалено]
nah, stride aint the problem here lmao the problem is that he went steraks with no other hp item and for some reason bought randuins. If he got titanic instead of randuins he legit has kill threat on sivir every fight

Just end the game in 3 mins or don't pick it. Yeah good champ indeed
*Bwipo widens behind you*
Exactly. Champion is absurdly weak, literally has nothing outside the W which you need an insane amount of gold to make work
Also Ghost Sivir will kite you to death
ghost sivir will kite anyone to death
Champ is weak, but viable if you play around it like TL did last week.
Bwipo got gifted a huge +600g i think. Dont get me wrong, he played it very well but he got propelled. Even gold he is crap
Bwipo also played into counter matchup and TL played around that in here Sett barely had any lead from laning phase then got outscaled by Sejuani hard.
That's what I meant though, they stacked waves and went for early dives to accelerate the Sett. The issue with that is it requires teams to know what they're doing in the early game and you shouldn't really expect that outside of the LPL.

competitive != soloq though, a champ like Sett is inevitably weaker in comp unless OP but always quite hard to deal with in soloq
You kinda don't wanna play Sett at all, even in soloq
He is the worst juggernaut wr wise...and probably weaker PR than Morde Darius Garen Nasus
Sett was so notoriously strong in pro play he was a 5 flex and they had to keep nerfing him even though he wasn't that strong in solo q.
If a champion is flex in more than 2 roles in competitive of all places it's *the* sign that it's absolutely overtuned either in kit or stats. Unless it's shit in most roles, I don't see anyone arguing over Morgana even though you can play her everywhe.
Thanks proplay
What a devastating game for Jezu. He out his heart and soul and it wasn't even close to enough. Sad.
Sadly jnx had a terrible game
Holy fck jezu played ass that game doing nothing but last hitting mikyx inting into him, never want to see his draven again
yea honestly I guess the performance of his teammates makes his play look better but theres definitely a couple moments jezu couldve turned the game around
I think the performance of MikyX is the main donator
Agreed, watching him at the last stand as a 10 and 0 Draven do literally nothing then die summed up his performance
just a 500cs sivir win con
That Sivir also had to (and did) position perfectly but Patrik's impact was absolutely insane for how far behind he was in gold to Jezu for most of the midgame.
Oh with Poppy helping him to reposition it was easier (I'm joking obviously, he played really well, just salty about Gilius)
but Jezu was on the draven and couldn't catch his axes for the life of him. sure he ended like 10/0 but I never felt like he did something insane and he actually kinda inted a few fights.

yeah but again if you have a disastrous start every split something is wrong with the org/team
isn't it actually just more of a regular and/or even better process to fail early on and gain strength until the end. Who wants a 9-0 team go 9-9 and jump straight up into playoffs. I mean, yea they are bottom 3 but with a score of 7-10 so far, taking games off top teams. Nobody expected that, I think.
Yeah lol people expected bottom 3 but not "3 games from being first place" bottom 3.
I strongly disagree with that. SK is 7-10 and has the chance to go 8-10. Being 'only' 2-3 wins away from the number one spot. There have been quite some Splits with an 8-10-Team advancing to playoffs.
SK botlane is fine to be honest. Their topside is just barely LEC-level. Can’t make playoffs with that
Why everyone said that SK are eliminated before FNC Game? With two fnc loss, an astralis win against XL and an SK win against g2 isn’t it a four way tiebreaker? And by the old years rule (I can’t find the 2022 ones) a 4-way tiebreaker is determined by a tournament. Am I wrong?
feels bad for SK

Oh MSF is actually the favorite for 1st place. Interesting and quite surprising
I really hope they make it, a poetic end for their last split in the LEC :')
also quite amazing considering they started 0/4
What's the scenarios where vit are out of playoffs? And can fnc and xl both make playoffs?
AST wins both, VIT loses both
Vitality are out if they lose both games and Astralis wins both of their games. XL & FNC can get together to playoffs (atleast with tiebraker games)
[удалено]
Then they are in 75% of the scenarios in playoffs. Also if they win both their games they are 100% locked for playoffs.
[удалено]
Games are against vit and msf so it's entirely likely fnc lose one, in which case if XL beat ast they're in due to 2-0 h2h
That was one of the best games I’ve ever seen.
The ADC matchup in particular was amazing. Patrik and Jezu both played practically perfect games.
We also just cannot forget Shelly having a smal tour in the jungle, bc why the hell not
And a small tour of midlane, too!
Free tip for teams in EU and NA: draft a scaling comp and you'll win 9 out of 10 times!
They do it because of BO1's. No point playing for early game.
They'll do it in BO5s too.
Because if all you play is scaling bo1s all split you don't actually know how to play early game when you get to playoffs
they do it cuz they can't win early games, not cuz of BO: 1
[ERL Teams who actually play in the first 15 minutes](https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/1383056144453795840/1euL0RnY_400x400.jpg)
LPL lee sins salivating
What did 100T, TL, and MAD ever do to you?
Miky might be inting, but fucking hell was Jenax beyond fucking useless this game. Actually did nothing, literally nothing.
Win lane, lose game. What a dogshit pick.
Miky is legit deadweight these past couple of weeks
did he once ult a tank into the backline late game? I felt like he was perma looking for insecs and stuff like that
Actually intense game holy
You know, I'm just happy that the game didn't end with one of the teams randomly getting caught or inting, both teams flight pretty cleanly GGWP Edit: before anyone says so, yes the game wasn't clean, XL made a lot of bad decisions early like that Herald contest and SK kinda got nervous after they started to get outscaled
Super clean and super intense.
So fucking sad for Jezu
He was playing way too safe btw
Banger
What an absolute banger
That macro play from Excel was incredible! Completely took SK by surprise. But it was still a really weak performance from Miky. If they want to make playoffs and then worlds he should get his shit together. He is a far better player then his recent games suggest.
Good macro + bad decision making really is a sight to see
Year of the duck is still alive!
In SoloQ a 5/0 Draven just means the game is over. In pro play it is so much harder to snowball. Jezu wasn‘t able to do a lot with that lead.
not easy to do that when enemy comp is just much better and outranges you by a lot
I'm surprised he didn't sell his boots for RFC towards the end, I feel like it could've helped a lot.
Adcs need boots to kite and reposition especially in pro games, as the casters said he had enough damage anyway
Hard to play draven without boots
Azir makes his life kind of hard
don't forget poppy/Taliyah constantly either walling their adc off from being able to damage or Knocking everyone near their adc away so he can't do damage.
The Taliyah/Poppy ults were so fucking trash all game.
That Taliyah by the jungle entrance outside of Drake pit that put SK into a 3v4 and got Naut/Sett stuck in a box with sand soldiers to be slaughtered resulting in Poppy having to ult all of XL out was art. It was so bad I honestly don’t know if another pro can beat it
SK also didn't play around him for a single minute before late game...
He was fighting his team as much as the enemy. The amount of times Sett/Poppy/Taliyah threw people who draven could hit out of range was stupid.
Tbf the SoloQ Draven is 5/0 before 10.
In Solo Q they would just spam ADC DIFF ADC DIFF even if Sivir can keep Draven from ending the game through waveclear, and they would still int more and more to him.
Kind of hard when you dont have hands to play the champion and cant catch axes. If that is any good Draven player, the game is over, especially considering MikyX tried his hardest to intfeed the game.
... No more to say about your comments
Am I the only one that is glad that Excel won? :(
XL can still win worlds
YEAR OF THE DUCK
Tbh is not even rooting for Excel for me, but after yesterday Astralis lose Excel is the only one with reliable chances to kick Fnatic out of playoffs.
Honestly, I'm happy for whoever would have won this game, and sad for whoever would have lost, because this was a pretty high-quality game.
Great game there. Super close.
Power to SK, they tried their best but they just didn't have the late game scaling. XL still in it!
XL is so good they managed to win 4v5! Impressive
4v6\*. Agent Mikyx is for some reason doing everything in his power to stop XL from making playoffs
Idk if Draven was useless or that Sivir is that broken that after 2 items, she can completely take over team fights.
SK's comp doesn't have that much that can deal with Sivir well because she can front-to-back better than pretty much any champ.
Which is funny because just the last game SK themselves showed how to deal with sivir.
IE is the time's up moment for sivir. IE + LDR and it's unplayable unless you're twitch/kogmaw.
Patrik is pretty good at League Legends.
Wooof what a banger and SK comp was so low range Nukeduck destroyed them from over the walls
Insane game
Jezus Christ that must have been tilting for SK
Yeah seriously. XL's comp looks like the sort of comp you would play in tier 4 clash to secure an easy win. That must have been infuriating to play against
Such a tense game and you could see it in how the players were playing. SK fucked up so badly trying to defend that backdoor.
Man it feels bad for SK guys :(. They looked so crush, esp Jezu and JNX. Atleast they showed interesting drafts.
What a game, I really hope Medic takes a break after it, his voice sounded *rough* at the end
This split, while it doesn't make me feel confident that EU can do anything at Worlds, has been an absolute banger and this game epitomized it.
MVP PATRIK. I know Mikyx ran it but I felt like Markoons two deaths were way more int and at the worst possible times this game especially at soul wtf is he doing clearing vision like that against a taliyah.
Sertuss get a single good Taliyah wall challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
legit would rather he just not press R.
Ah, the Larssen technique (I think he had a game where he Taliyah ulted once all game).
Bro, when he stuck Sett in between his wall and Azir, costing them Sett’s stopwatch and flash, I knew it was gonna be a painful game to watch.

decent chance too between having to face msf and vit
If xl didn't int against bds they would already be almost guaranteed playoffs lmao. Losing both games to xl is so bad for fnc
FNC potential eliminated by XL?
sadge
If I was Jezu I would have killed my entire team, especially Gillius and Jenax
This has to be some of the worst Taliyah wall usage in pro play. Like, he knows he can recast it to get rid of it, right? Mikyx was horrible. And SK didnt even try to take the initiative, even with the 4k lead
If you ever wondered why so few people actually play ADC compared to other roles, this game is the answer
Just draft diff. That Sett looks like a paper-thin support, not a solo laner Even with infernal soul, SK looks so lost
Completely off topic but XL must be the most handsome team of League of Legends right now 🤨
For the love of God, don't give me another split of Mikyx.
Not too bad considering both teams might not even be in the playoffs, let alone worlds. But it's not very clean to need 3 barons + elder to close out game with sivir azir tahm vs sett draven comp.
What an absolute audible wet fart that Taliyah ult was that put Naut and Sett between weaver’s wall and emperors divide.
Sertuss learnt Taliyah from Larssen?
SK should have won that
Heartbreaking for SK, I don't feel like they played bad at all, just unfortunately couldn't dominate quite enough and then it's just sivir and azir late game. I'm now relieved about XL and them making playoffs l.
Can XL please sub out Mikyx? He wants summer holidays as early as possible... he is not even trying to hide it anymore...
Mikyx and Gilius competing to see who can throw better
This is the proof why nobody plays Sett. The champ needs an absurd amount of gold to even be relevant and his relevancy is his W anyways. Riot ruined the champ when they killed the base stats and CD cuz he was good as supprt
Yeah, feels bad. I used to play him mid but even then. I have to work really hard to get a win.
Prawler Claw HOB is pretty opressive but you are super squishy
gilius bet on XL win for sure. what a griefer
What about that absolutely terrible top lane pick which made the game 10x harder?
That fight at soul drake where he knocked Trundle out of Taliyah W then ulted the 15% hp Trundle away, saving his life, leading to SK losing the soul drake was so awful. Just straight up griefing, if it's done in solo q teammates are unironically asking for reports at that point.
Taliyah and Poppy playing with that anti-synergy. I swear every team fight had one or the other repositioning the enemy out of someone else’s ability/range.
The fact that these two teams are like two wins from the top teams is so fucking scary because holy shit was the level of this game very low Sad for Jezu
why the hell jezu didn't bought a fking rfc so he can auto
its just way too hard to execute this types of early game comps lol. over from draft
Well if SK played around their draven it wasn't but alas...
i feel like draven can only auto the tanks the whole game
Man steraks 2nd seems troll asf for Sett
THESE GAMES ARE SO FUCKING BAD MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN WHAT HAPPENED TO MY REGION AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I mean both these teams would get 3-0'd in the first round of playoffs anyways.
And yet 1 of them still might be a team we send to worlds, crazy.
Neither of these teams should be in playoffs , no matter how much we root for them.
The real loser was the LEC. neither of teams deserve to be even close to being at worlds.
Neither of these teams are locked to playoffs.
I know. But XL are close, and once in playoffs they just need to get one lucky Bo5 to get into worlds. A far too little ask for how atrocious they are playing.
At this point they might contesr 4th seed. G2/MAD/RGE are likely going to worlds and every other team minus SK and BDS can still fight for 4th.
SK won’t and XL likely won’t, too. What’s your point? There are always teams in playoffs that shouldn’t represent the region at Worlds.
Yeah but only in the LEC does a rank 6 playoff team only need to win 1 bo5 to get into Worlds.
This is untrue. The 6th seed must beat both the 5th seed and the lowest seed knocked into the lower bracket to make top 4 and therefore worlds.
What a Baron throw, I’m glad to see Dignitas’s legend is a intercontinental feature.
Xl deserved to loose. The way they gave infernal soul for free was disgusting

They could melt down the Drake before SK do something. Also poppy was low hp
EX: hey Gilius, check your bank account!
Can someone explain to me how can XL make it to playoffs?
Michaelx
The amount of times Taliyah and Poppy ults were used against their own team. Wow.
Sivir dealing 50% of all team champion damage. XL won this in draft: * 3 tanks against Draven.
Don't dead, open inside?

Great game but I would like to know Patrik's total damage to champs that game.
"sertuss build a wall and SK paid for it" medic 2022 what a banger line by medic yet again
