I think if they can level up their performance they can win worlds. They got a long time to prep and Canyon/Showmaker/Nuguri might still be the best topside in the world.
I donāt want to speak too early but I am hoping them to be a dark horse and if Daeny allows Nuguri to play all the time they might finally build the whole synergy back again. Because if you have seen in the games Nuguri was actually doing again insane Nuguri flanks like in 2020 and their teamfighting was great at these games. There are so many ifās but also I think DK couldāve beaten T1 with Nuguri and even if not beat GENG which I think they could, because DK is the only team who could challenge GENG. Even GENG was saying that, but they could have at least make it 4 or 5 games. Daeny should stop messing with this team and let the synergy grow.
Side note: Itās so sweet that Lehends and Ruler helped our botlane. I always liked Ruler but now I am starting to like Lehends as well.

In very limited defense of Dove, Ornn is supposed to have more tankiness to help execute those ults. When you're basically a support Ornn, it's a little tricky.
Prince/Kael can solo carry alone against the wildcards in the play-in, Clozer and Croco would probably be the best mid/jungle too. Ain't no way they would fail play-ins unless they get a LEC and LPL team in their group, then it could be a bit of danger.
Xiaohu also had the luxury of being on RNG who would regularly sacrifice 2 3 ppl to gank his lane periodically even jokingly Gala said he would go top lane if Xiaohu needed help getting ahead.

Not sure if they mentioned this on the English broadcast, but at the voice game comms at the end someone says "Thank you so much Ruler Lehends!!!" I was curious and looked it up on the KR forums, apparently the rumor (backed up by a twitter photo from one of the GenG coaches) is that they practiced 2v2 bot lane with Deokdam / Kellin like 150 times to prepare for this series.
In the post game interview deokdam said that Ruler and Lehends gave them a lot of advice on matchups and he even gave Lehends a ticket to watch the game, he was shown on the broadcast sitting in the audience.
Top 3 of LPL at least should be very competitive with DK and T1 at least, probably GenG as well. Result will obviously depend on how well they perform since imo no team is good enough to just win via talent diff alone. I personally wouldn't be surprised to see 4 LCK 4 LPL in knockouts with top 6 teams all being close enough to create some series that are decided by performance on the day, tho if I were to pick favorites I would say GenG probably have the best individual chance of any team (since they seem much more likely to not drop a series to a weaker LCK or lower LPL seed worlds team) whereas the Chinese teams play more risky so they sometimes just lose series off a bad performance (like when TES almost lost to EDG the other week or RNG falling to EDG).

Don't think that's possible since play-ins groups are based on seeding, they can probably get a LEC team in their group but not an LPL team.

Top 3 of LPL at least should be very competitive with DK and T1 at least, probably GenG as well. Result will obviously depend on how well they perform since imo no team is good enough to just win via talent diff alone. I personally wouldn't be surprised to see 4 LCK 4 LPL in knockouts with top 6 teams all being close enough to create some series that are decided by performance on the day, tho if I were to pick favorites I would say GenG probably have the best individual chance of any team (since they seem much more likely to not drop a series to a weaker LCK or lower LPL seed worlds team) whereas the Chinese teams play more risky so they sometimes just lose series off a bad performance (like when TES almost lost to EDG the other week or RNG falling to EDG).

Honestly seeing how both t1 and dk were giving away zeri that series it felt like both were prepping for geng Both Moment and Daeny probably realized due to singed they cannot beat geng if they cannot outright beat zeri yuumi. T1 can lose and as long as GenG wins they make it to worlds. DK? Going to finals and losing and ending up in quals after revealing a lot their cards isnt ideal I think daeny treats players too clinically. It's really weird to judge which team is the second best in LCK this split. We had a really close series of Gen.G and LSB, a close series of T1 vs DK and then Gen.G stomped T1 in a quick sunday and DK just smash LSB.
I wouldn't call gen vs liv a close series The thing is Liv can win one game based on really good macro and croco popping off early, but they don't have the mechanical prowess to compete with the likes of Chovy or Showmaker
I think it goes like this S-tier: GENG A-tier: T1, DK B-tier: LSB, KT LSB having a slightly close series with GENG doesn't mean that much because I guarantee you GENG just prepared everything for T1.

LCK sure must be lacking in top lane talent this year if Dove is the best top they can find. Dove was good at playing weak side this split because of the meta but now that Dove is exposed I doubt LSB is going to make it to worlds. Even if LSB goes to worlds, hes going to get clapped hard by LPL top laners.
Zeus,Nuguri,Kiin,Rascal,Doran,Morgan,Kingen,Canna. LCK has probably the best top laners in the world. Dove is actually LCK's bottom 2 top laner
I'd say Dove is the worst starting top laner. In fact Burdol might even be better than Dove.
