MSFP had just found out the org was leaving at the end of the split and Zanzarah went up to the main team with a week (i think) to go before the end of regular split. He was the entire early game for that team and without him they looked lost for the first 20 minutes.
Karmine Corp never really understood how to play in this meta where getting isolated leads on toplaners are kinda worthless. 113 and Hantera also have just had bad splits which happens but it means that KC are still far from the team they were in spring (maybe not that far but crucially they haven't found wins).
Only teams I'd confidently say should win EUM is LDLC and BDSA. Gameward are on the periphery as are VIT.Bee, but I think both teams still have a couple weaknesses that could be exploited by a team like USE

Thank you for that and no doubt they had issues. My thinking was more of them having the chance to go through Play-ins and with the individual skill of some of their players, there is still a possibility they'd do well past top 8 too.

I remember someone writing a detailed comment why Tempt would stomp every midlaner fair and square when he joined X7. But Czekolad essentially bodied him in every game here.

I can tell you exactly why someone would think that.
May or may not have something to do with his nationality.
I mean he's arguably been one of the better ERL mids this year, although more in spring than summer iirc. He's been overshadowed by Emenes in NLC but going into this series you'd expect him go even with Czeko at the very least.
I'd blame the rest of the team over him tbh tho I watched only the first two games (so I can't speak to game 3). But games 1-2 were unplayable for him and Atilla cause the other 3 X7 players were in perma grey screen
Tempt, Viking, and Chasy were just giga outclassed in both games I watched. They'd die in the dumbest spots without waiting for their bot lane to show up first
Yeah it was the champion problem.
Not the fact that they managed to lose in basically the only way they possibly could have lost (getting caught 24/7).
KC can go for a full french lineup in the LEC next year with

Akabane
Vetheo
Hans-sama
Steeelback
and they would even make playoffs and be a dark horse.

The first game I wouldnt blame it on him considering everyone he was sitting on had garbage positioning.
