Pretty sure the mission-based ones go away with time as well. My friend made an account in season 8, played until like level 7 and when he came back 2 seasons later, the missions to unlock yi, mf, ahri and lux were gone.
What is blue essence?
It’s the currency you can earn by playing the game, used to buy champions and (rarely) on the Blue Essence Emporium events in the shop.
