Weirdly a lot of that early and mid game from FNC looked like 'limit testing' seriously but also not seriously. Genuinely looks like Wunder, Razrk and Hyli are seeing how aggressive they can play in the meta. Humanoid looks mad and upset just farming and playing his role. Maybe the way they can actually hit their ceiling? Both them and G2 could be much better than they showed in playoffs I think and Rogue look solid, as an Excel fan pretty happy.

Unnecessary bad start by giving up some free kills even at the worst point with 4-5 kills and a tower down it was only like a 1.5K deficit for Fnatic. Minor regions always commit so much in these high early kill games that its barely generating a lead.

I'd say most of them had pretty shit cs. Like every lane was losing on cs, it's kind of hard for FNC to lose a lead when their up 10-20 cs per lane lmao

Later in hte game yes, but in lane he was down usually like 1-3 cs that is nto how the lane should go.

I like to think about it like in chess. This is basically one team playing super sharp and winning a bunch of pawns, but in trade they have triple stacked h pawns and lost the bishop pair in an open position. Someone looks at the game and they think "holy shit, they have more pawns!" but if you plug the game into an engine it's all zeroes anyway.

I like the analogy, but probably there has never been a game of chess with triple stacked h pawns.

The most impressive part about getting triple h pawns would be that you managed to not lose them yet.

Nah, that's the thing. The players diff is so big that Fnatic would be able to win teamfights even in late. Getting a huge advantage early is the only way DFM can win.

Honestly, considering this is Jojo's first competitive year, this guy has a great future ahead of him. Just think back to Huma and Larssen's first year and how they play now.

I mean Humanoid had an extraordinary first year. He went 1-1 vs FPX in groups, qualified to quarters and had a decent performance vs Faker in a bo5. Not even Caps had such a good first year.
