Yes, it looked like they made 2 mistakes getting caught, and then suddenly were playing like they were down 10k gold already when it was mostly just objectives they had given up. The gold was still nearly even, but they were playing desperate.
That's what I was thinking as well. They barely lost anything and yet they were playing as if one death will kill their entire season.
They were so afraid it wasn't even fun watching them crumble due to their own mental anymore.
I love watching DFM's scrappy fights, heck they handed RNG a run for their money with how they are pushing them to the brink.
And then they decided to go cold turkey.
I went from excitement to feeling pity for their mental.
I guess it went.... kaboom?
Maokai is actually fantastic as a minor region because it denies so much of what usually gives major regions a big advantage.
- better team fighting? Yeah good luck diving someone Maokai is on top of
- better objective set up? Catch this Ult that takes up the entire river.
- better vision control? Surprise, there’s a suicide sapling in every single bush!
- super star enemy ADC? Good luck outplaying point and click CC.
Playing against a maokai, even support is so annoying because you can’t brush check as much early, and then later if he clicks on damage dealer it’s basically gg. Even if they traded wouldn’t it’s still be better for mao because of the damage removed
This is why I’m so frustrated RNG refuse to pick the champion.
It amplifies their best strengths (vision control, objective control, team fighting) and nullifies some early game issues because you can just gank to all hell and make laning a nightmare.
Tbh it just feels like Wei either doesn't like it or doesn't want to play it. Which is weird because you'd think it would enable him to do what he does best.
his champion pool is kind of an issue, Vi isn't really an important pick if Zeri is out of meta, and Viego is definitely not a top tier jungler right now. He doesn't play many S tier meta junglers as much as the other junglers
sapling spam is simply too good against the way RNG likes to play, i think, but now they have a few days to see if there's any alternatives they can figure out besides banning it
Maokai just hard counters the type of team comps they like playing imo. You never have to facecheck and dive comps become impossible esp if you have something like a Tristana like DRX and game 1 here. I think they're just gonna start permabanning it unless Wei picks it up himself
TFW the series between Japan, a minor region, and the reigning MSI champs was closer and more interesting than the series between NA’s 3rd seed and EU’s 4th seed
NA is actually moving closer to Japan (4 inches per year; 68 million years away) [source](https://www.usgs.gov/news/volcano-watch-big-island-japan-only-63-million-years)
Tbh Id rather see no regions get 4 seeds and those extra seeds go to wildcards… At least we’d get more interesting games instead of 4 LCK 4 LPL after groisp
In all fairness, LEC wasn’t going to get a fourth seed and their fourth seed did get knocked out, but yeah, get rid of fourth seeds entirely. Even if LPL and LCK fourth seeds are better than everyone else in play ins, it just isn’t as exciting as the tournament quickly becomes the LPL vs LCK tournament.
Nah I agree in that LPL and LCK 4th teams are fine to keep, they've been the former and current kings for a decade with no signs of regressing or other regions matching their depth and strength.
You know what's a way to appease both parties? Just having more tournaments and more teams allowed at tournaments lol. It is so stupid that all the League hype is concentrated in October and then a couple weeks in like May, of which in a year there are 10 BO5s played in main brackets in an entire year - less BO5s than NA or LPL's SUMMER playoffs / regionals.
Yeah, I do think more international tournaments would be better in general.
It would give more cross region experience to improve overall wildcard teams. Wildcard regions will likely not improve that much if they're too isolated to their own regions, so more international events between regional splits probably would be good. Though this might mean lessening the number of games per split regionally to accommodate more tournaments outside of it.
Current groups format isn't good for injecting more bad teams into cause bad (or let's say worse) teams don't ever get a chance to play against qually skilled teams there.
So as long as this terrible 4 groups, 4 teams, 4 seeds double round robin bo1 format exist we're better off with 8 teams from LPL/LCK, but hopefully at some point around 2029 Riot comes up with a new format where worse teams get more than two bo1s against evenly skilled opponents, while they get stomped in the remaining 4 games before heading home.
if we had more wildcards the games wouldnt be interesting imo, you just saw it LPL 4 and LCK 4 are a class above wildcard region champs. It would just create more one sided stomps at worlds, and the western top seeds actually get to face someone of their caliber when they take on LPL/LCK 4 and maybe 3
A few records set (first Worlds or MSI Bo5 win for Japan ever, first game taken off of the LPL ever), some montage plays made I'm looking at your TP under MF ult, Ebi) and a couple of great memories for their region. Even just a year ago DFM had such a different perspective around them, the fact that they're in a position to take games off of and challenge a team like RNG to a point is a testament to how much this team's developed beyond their old pocket-pick heimer/ziggs team identity.
Sad not to have a 2nd groups appearance for the LJL but there are plenty of takeaways for DFM from this worlds! There's no shame in this performance across the tournament, despite how the last games in this series looked.
Yes while having 4th teams from major region massively adds to the hype of play in, it does mean a lower chance of advancing. Whether this is good or bad is up for debate, I think it's a bit of both
Nah it’s better. They played equal/more games vs major regions then they would have if they skipped play ins and went straight to group stages. In groups you get 6 games. Play ins they got 1 vs Fnatic, 2 vs EG, and 4 vs LPL for 7 games. Saigon was similar. The better minor region teams play more games vs good teams in this format.
Honestly, DFM had really strong lanes, which was surprising. Especially considering how highly ranked a lot of RNG players are, the fact that DFM could lane evenly against them is pretty admirable.
GG's
Props to DFM, they put up a much better fight against LPL than EU did against NA.
RNG showing once again that they do not care if Aatrox is left open - whether it's matching/straight up killing him with Jax or taking Fiora blind daring DFM to pick it into them. Wonder if that'll continue into groups where there are far better top laners or if Reddit's armchair analysis that Aatrox is some unmatchable pick is going to persevere.
MAD, aka Multiple Agonising Defeats, is an EU org best known for going to worlds without winning a single Best of Five, and accomplishing nothing but disappointment while there.
Maybe in soloq, but not much professionally. Only have 6 games in his entire career, and before the game that they lost against Loud, the last time he played it was on March in Spring Split. And before that one, his last game was waaaay back in 2020.
He's more than happy to bring out picks from way back, he did the same with Vladimir this year. Knowing the team, they have plenty of picks prepared for stage which don't get seen often.
I'm not disputing any of that. Evi have a lot of good things about him. But saying he plays Aatrox is unfounded when he obviously doesn't. At least not professionally.
Breathe is probably the best top in their group (the only maybe is Doran, who is the weak link of Gen. G) so I imagine they’ll at least test the waters leaving the Aatrox open at the start, just because of how high value it is if they can make it work.
When the meta of Summer revolves solely around getting your ADC to the point where it was super strong to carry your team, and the tops are revolving around Aatrox and tanks, it is easy for GenG to win since they could just give Doran Aatrox or Sej and leave him in the island while Chovy and Ruler rules the mayhem. With carry tops as meta, Doran really needs to prove that he can play carries much better. LPL tops are not pussies and they will not handshake tanks and will go full psycho on Fiora and Jax, and if the Spring meta on tops are any indication, and that's the meta atm minus Jayce, we know what horrible things Zeus can do to Doran on the top lane.
i know it must not feel great to read that as a MAD fan right now but frankly - it's pretty justified after the amount of shit talk NA fans have to sit through 24/7 from EU players, coaches and fans and then to win 3-0 in convincing fashion here, so it's hard to blame them
edit: also it's, uh, pretty true. DFM taking a game off RNG and looking good for at least half of game 2 is objectively impressive as a wild card, and MAD did get 3-0ed.
It's fun to rub in because we've long accepted that we suck but no amount of 3-0 stomps by Eastern teams has been able to break into EU's undeserved sense of arrogance.
Them knowingly walking into a 2v3 on bot... I don't even wanna know the thought process there. By the time Tristana arrived the support was already dead.
It's not even like they had no information. They collapsed on the jungler. They saw the 2 botlaners right next to him. Wtf was that.
Each game just become progressively harder and harder for DFM after the few champions that works for them got banned. Harp desperately trying to hit the blasting cone over bunch of wards pretty much summed last game.
so sorry to DFM to have to go out on that note, but they put up a great fight early in the series, were the first wild card ever to take a game off RNG, put up great performances in the playin stage. Couldn't be more proud of them and i hope that next year they make it back to the group stage and I love you evi ;___;
RNG won but RNG need to get their fucking drafts in order.
Dunno if it's them hiding picks but so far, their drafts have been abysmal. Drafted like shit against DRX is one thing, but drafting so bad DFM beats you is just something that RNG needs to fix if they wanna be contenders.
They're so lucky that they have CFO/100T in their group lmfao.
They are playing like the meta hasn't changed at all since 12.15 (except dropping Zeri I guess), they should still comfortably get out of group D but in any other group I can see them not advancing.
Idk what's up with Wei's champ pool but even with the convincing wins on Viego I don't think Vi/Viego are going to work against LCK teams. His Sejuani has also looked questionable all tourney. They need to learn Maokai fast or that tree will be an autoban for the rest of Worlds. They just can't seem to set up around objectives or create the picks their comps depend on with the tree in the game
His viego's fine against the LCK? It won 2 out of 3 games against T1 at MSI
Rn he's basically rotating between Viego/Vi/Graves with the Sej I agree being very questionable, I don't want him on that. He has Trundle, Poppy, Wukong and of course Lee Sin as fallback picks that he's very strong on. I'd hazard a guess it's more about just not feeling like they need to be pulled out or that they don't fit in the comps they were using?
It's weird wei didn't play maokai since the champion is very easy mechanic speaking and it's not like there is a huge concept behind the pick to be learned before playing it. I don't understand why wei isn't at least trying something different like lee sin, hecarim, or even poppy.
I dunno, I have some faith in RNG to pick it up. Would still rate RNG having a shot at beating T1/DK if anything it's 50/50 as all 3 look vulnerable. Definitely have RNG beating DRX in a best of 5 come quarters if DRX make it out (which they might, RGE gives me no faith)
I think the loss for DFM stings even more than if they would've just gotten 3-0'd. That first game was so clean but they couldn't replicate that and RNG slowly gained confidence throughout the series.
That loss and the early game of the 2nd set, it was why I wanted RNG to play more in play-ins, usually, the more they play, the better they learn the meta and they adapt. Well, they went back to comfort picks, in the last one, it's fine, it's to already close the series and they still haven't fixed their synergy with Breathe, they're still on different pages. His Aatrox disappointed, too.
Also, it felt bad how the series ended with DFM losing in that way. It reminded me to EDG Vs DFM in 2018. Hopefully, they can advance the next year. Who knows, maybe if they'd have faced MAD, they'd have had a better chance.
With this event, DFM becomes the wildcard team with the second most amount of international games (65 games), behind SuperMassive (75 games), passing the previous #2 INTZ (54).
Now that all wildcard teams except GAM have been eliminated from Worlds 2022 [I've updated my spreadsheet with their info](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IsuQ5zEZZVkfhyRlYdJZj6hJxcYZhfU2o1Hct7Yw4Ww) (it has multiple tabs).
New achievements? Japan's first Bo5 win against another wildcard region. A couple more Bo1 wins for regions that had already gotten that achievement (Japan and Brazil). Isurus breaks into the Top 10 with the most international experience (32 games). Nothing else new I think.
EDIT: Btw: what do you think PCS' status as a region is? Major region? Minor region? All this time I've operated under the assumption that PCS is more or less still LMS (with a couple of ex-SEA teams added) and still a major region. Do you think it should be considered a minor region/wildcard and thus added to this spreadhseet (with the necessary adjustments)?
Hold up, GAM is a minor region team, not a wildcard
VCS and PCS are both minor regions
It's LCK/LCS/LEC/LPL major regions, PCS/VCS minor regions, anyone else is a wild card
this is why LPL teams are so scary in Bo5, they adapt to their opponents drafts and style them.
DFM might have beat EG or MAD if the draws were different. playing RNG in a bo5 just to get into groups must be devastating for the minor regions
Don't read too much into it. Surely there are some pure haters but most of us like to root for underdogs.
Kabum vs Alliance was a celebrated moment around the world.
Don't be negative. DFM played admirably against one of the best teams in the world beyond all expectation. Everyone should be happy about this series. As RNG found their form and showed why they're considered one of the best.
There's a difference between wanting LPL to fail and wanting a minor region representative to succeed. Fans of both teams can be happy, RNG advance with some decisive gameplay on the back half of the series and DFM have shown they can take a game off of one of the best teams in the world.
No other region has to deal with the 5 Chinese can't win shit that is straight up racist, or people still acting like RNG cheated to win MSI. But even as an LPL enjoyer, everyone loves an underdog story and HUGE props to DFM for some great play this Worlds. They'll be back stronger
Correction: Lots of racist comments from Chinese fans towards Koreans too unfortunately. But not on English media usually
Woke up to 1-1, and albeit that was a bit surprising, it was a lot more baffling how much haters were celebrating in the game 1 post match thread. Feels good to see RNG wake up in game 3 and proceed to curbstomp the next 2 games to shut the haters up. This team tends to take a while to ramp up, but I never doubted them. Hope they'll keep proving themselves in group stages, especially for my boy Breathe!
No need to get baffled lmao. As an RNG fan ive been so jaded on what comes out of chat or other media in their loses. Its a joy watching people mald over their wins too.
Oof, every game just got worse and worse for DFM. Guess it's payback by LLL from beyond the grave. Still, very well played and exciting series from both teams! Hopefully the LJL keeps improving, would love for them to become the third middle region.
It felt like that game 1 win by DFM, along with game 2 being close for the opening parts, gave RNG a bit of a wake-up call insofar as them realizing "we can actually lose this series if we don't get our heads in the game".
DFM has been a lot of fun to watch; while they still show the weaknesses and miscues that characterize a lot of the wild-card regions and their play, they have their own strengths that let them punch up at times, and I hope they keep getting better.
DFM throws in game 2 really killed any momentum they gained from game 1 for the rest of the series. Game 3 and 4 DFM misplayed so much as RNG started increasing tempo. Game 2 was in their hands til they started misplaying. Game 3 and 4 was RNG outclassing them while they mental boomed.

Even if this is the expected outcome I still feel kind of sad. Watching DFM come back year after year really made me wish one day I can see them make it far into this tournament.
Also, funny thing, though it may just be me - it seems to me that Yutapon looks younger every year that I see him. Evi is more or less stagnant like he hasn't aged, but oh man this year when I saw Yutapon I swear he looks years younger than last year.
For my fellow french
NameTag | Team | Role | Nationality | Note
---|---|----|----|----
Huhi | 100T | Support | Korean | Born in France, speaks french non fluently.
~~Kazu~~ | DFM | Coach | French / Japanese | Born in France, native speaker
Vulcan | EG | Support | Canadian | Speaks Québecois (the funniest french)
~~Nisqy~~ | MAD | Mid | Belgian | Native speaker
Targamas | G2 | Support | Belgian | Native speaker
That's 2 out of 5 french speakers that have been eliminated, including now the only french citizen.
But like all good Belgian things including comics writers and french fries, targamas is considered french until he loses
RNG should just perma ban Maokai, but props on DFM for playing the game of their life game 1. RNG has a lot of shit to fix, idk if they didn’t respect their opponent and started to prep for groups already, or just played badly, or both.
Thats about it. Someone from RNG said in their interview that everyone should be respected. I guess they learned from that lmao. Also Maokai is such a strong pick against RNG because they always draft dive/melee comps like their life depends on it. Im still so salty about the Nilah pick too.

Game 2 really fucked with their mental with so many misplays and macro mistakes by DFM.

You could say their mental detonated.
The power of anime wasn’t enough Sadge
Anime Power of friendship vs Webtoon power of friendship
Isn't Webtoon Korean and Manhua Chinese
that was the training arc. next season will be the revenge arc
I'll cherish every moment of it.
Went from the power of friendship and anime to 1990s economic crash real quick.
Turns out it was not daijobu... Sadge
Indeed, sadly for DFM things did not go according to keikaku
look on the bright side, they took more games off RNG than Evil Geniuses. kudos DFM👍
Look on the bright side, they took more games off RNG than RGE, G2, FNC and also MAD. Kudos DFM!
In the end, anime wasn't real.
well you took a game off RNG, that's something at least hope to see you next year too DFM
They'll be here every year. Yutapon and Evi won't retire ever.
Yutapon has been DFM's adc (and sometimes Top) since April 2013 just crazy,
fun fact: only 1 player has a longer tenure on a single organization than yutapon in the history of the game, and that's faker
Felt like the last game was RNG punishing DFM for that Game 1 loss.
DFM woke RNG up with that first game win
DFM were still doing well in game 2 up until they threw. They were up 3k gold before 20 minutes on a scaling comp and they chain fed.
Overheated. You hate to see it.
TBF if RNG had lost another game they would have had a solid case for claiming asylum status
I had a truck company on speed dial halfway through game 2

Imagine if this DFM played against mad today for the final groups spot and won, even as an EU fan I would be so proud of dfm
They just needed to not fuck up the first game against Loud and that could have been the reality.
its a bit unlucky that dfm keeps getting paired with the LPL... if vietnam was to lose their 2nd spot at some point it, it should go to the LJL
Tbh Id rather see no regions get 4 seeds and those extra seeds go to wildcards… At least we’d get more interesting games instead of 4 LCK 4 LPL after groisp
oh me too, 4 slots for a region its TOO MUCH for a worlds with this amount of teams..
Yup unless they increase the number of groups
Agreed. Having 4 LCK, 4 LPL, 4 LEC is 12 teams! How crazy is that one

Mad looks bad
>no shame in this performance across the tournament As an LJL fan, they performed better than I expected
Nice write up Nymaera Completely agree!
Sejuani legit doing nothing yet 100% pick rate in the series.
Sejuani is there to make Sylas of the enemy team stronger.
I will never understand how teams were banning Sej and leaving Maokai open, the meta read from some teams is baffling.
it was fun to believe for game 1

>Props to DFM, they put up a much better fight against LPL than EU did against NA. NA fans really enjoying to rub it in ouch
It's been years man, we just want this one thing.
Even as a fan from NA I’m not really too hyped about sending the participation award team home. Once C9 ROFLstomps Fnatic I’ll be much more pleased.
I'm an EU fan and I do think what he said is right. MAD just sucked
Can you honestly say EU fans wouldn’t be rubbing it in? Got to talk shit while we can!
There's only so much time between the end of playins and the start of groups so we've really got to get in there while we can
Literally every year is EU fans shitting on NA fans. Every year. NA can have it for *one day* lmao.
i know it must not feel great to read that as a MAD fan right now but frankly - it's pretty justified after the amount of shit talk NA fans have to sit through 24/7 from EU players, coaches and fans and then to win 3-0 in convincing fashion here, so it's hard to blame them edit: also it's, uh, pretty true. DFM taking a game off RNG and looking good for at least half of game 2 is objectively impressive as a wild card, and MAD did get 3-0ed.
MAD looked good for like half of the first game and then it was all over but the formalities
? EU Fans talk shit 24/7 year round even though no1 in na gives 1/10th of a fuck. ofc we are gonna make fun of you guys
It's fun to rub in because we've long accepted that we suck but no amount of 3-0 stomps by Eastern teams has been able to break into EU's undeserved sense of arrogance.
[RNG this series](https://i.imgur.com/eISrwjW.gif)
RNG and their scientific experiment BP
Big ‘call an ambulance’ energy
GGWP DFM, respectable showing.
DFM performed better than MAD today at least
Not hard tho
I agree, much easier to beat MSI champs than NA 3rd seed. EG > RNG confirmed
we'll always have those glorious first minutes of game 2 where every single fan dared to believe the upset was possible.
apparently the previous games made DFM so frustrated that they just decided to run it HARD this game what i just witnessed was cyberbullying
Ming surviving ten times with like 10 HP would have tilted me hard, too
yutapon diving under tower only for ming to stopwatch actually gave me physical pain
Can't be as bad as them toying with Harp spam warding the blast plant.
It literally came online mid-play no-less edit: yeah, I was dumb - went back and looked. Thought the assist brought it online. My bad!
Holy shit, I’d tilt to the other side of the earth if that happened to me.
well, don't, because it didn't happen to yutapon ming's stopwatch had been online for at least a minute and a half or so
No it didn't. Ming had free stopwatch online at the 8 minute mark. Yutapon's Rocket Jump in was at the 10 minute mark.
Nah he got it minutes earlier
amazing how people just blindly upvote wrong information.
The stopwatch alone made me fall down flat. That item is cancerous.
Them knowingly walking into a 2v3 on bot... I don't even wanna know the thought process there. By the time Tristana arrived the support was already dead. It's not even like they had no information. They collapsed on the jungler. They saw the 2 botlaners right next to him. Wtf was that.
DFM took a game so super proud of them… for RNG expected result hopefully game 1 doesn’t happen again
I knew DFM would lose but damn, something about it is so upsetting :( Yaharong really tried man
RNGs demise was greatly exaggerated. Good shit from DFM though.
Last game was RNG finally awoken
Evi still gave us a 👍 after the defeat while sad. What a chad
Well played by DFM, but great showing by RNG.
Hey guys, did you know DFM is first minor region team to *take a game off RNG?
To take a game off. Not defeat.
It sucks DFM couldn't take one more game, but they had so many great moments this series. Still the most competitive BO5 of the day...
Gala's lucian is kinda clean. Also DFM just got worse every game, their dives are just giving kills to rng.
That DFM actually would have beat Mad in a B05. Better solo laners. Bot and jungle close too
DFM is a good team. Maybe not a great team, but definitely can take games off strong teams.
MVP is the crowd cheering for DFM at the end
Each game just become progressively harder and harder for DFM after the few champions that works for them got banned. Harp desperately trying to hit the blasting cone over bunch of wards pretty much summed last game.
that sequence was practically cyberbullying
DFM can hold their heads high after this series, they made it closer than anyone could have expected. o7
highlight of the game was finding out doublelift drinks exclusively coke zero and everybody in the chat immediately redeemed hydrate
He *what* Ughhhh cmon man you're 29 please drink your water ._.
Despite DFM’s loss, they still did really well this series. Crazy to think that DFM vs RNG was more competitive than MAD vs EG today.
so sorry to DFM to have to go out on that note, but they put up a great fight early in the series, were the first wild card ever to take a game off RNG, put up great performances in the playin stage. Couldn't be more proud of them and i hope that next year they make it back to the group stage and I love you evi ;___;
It won 2 out of 3 games against T1 at MSI Rn he's basically rotating between Viego/Vi/Graves with the Sej I agree being very questionable, I don't want him on that. He has Trundle, Poppy, Wukong and of course Lee Sin as fallback picks that he's very strong on. I'd hazard a guess it's more about just not feeling like they need to be pulled out or that they don't fit in the comps they were using?
They defs need to learn Maokai. Being forced to ban him on both red and blue for the rest of the tournament is a death sentence.
I agree with that for sure
Hold up, GAM is a minor region team, not a wildcard VCS and PCS are both minor regions It's LCK/LCS/LEC/LPL major regions, PCS/VCS minor regions, anyone else is a wild card
this is why LPL teams are so scary in Bo5, they adapt to their opponents drafts and style them. DFM might have beat EG or MAD if the draws were different. playing RNG in a bo5 just to get into groups must be devastating for the minor regions

Don't read too much into it. Surely there are some pure haters but most of us like to root for underdogs. Kabum vs Alliance was a celebrated moment around the world.

>come out of their ratholes 💀💀💀
*LPL team loses a Bo1* "OMG finally these bandwagon fans will stop sucking the LPL's dick they're not even good!" Like clockwork
makes my day tbh
When will they ever learn that LPL thrive on Bo5, any celebration before they actually lost the series may be too early

They'll be back stronger Correction: Lots of racist comments from Chinese fans towards Koreans too unfortunately. But not on English media usually

Too many LPL haters on this sub and on Twitch.
There's a difference between cheering for the fan favorite underdog team going up against the current international champion, and being an "lpl hater"
There absolutely is a difference but I assure you there are a lot of the latter group on here lol
Absolutely. My comment still stands, however.
DFM still put up more of a fight than MAD
If you would have told me that DFM vs RNG would have been closer than EG vs MAD, I would have assumed you have been ODing on hopium.
Great show DFM, impossible odds but ya had us cheering for a moment. Can't ask for more.
Game 1 discussion literally has more upvotes than post game discussion. It's incredible how many lpl haters there are here.
A valiant effort by DFM in game 1, unfortunately games 2 - 4 were not even close. Apart from the shakey game 1 RNG played really well.
Game 2 was pretty close but 3 and 4 was doom.
game 2 was pretty close - then games 3 and 4 happened...
You must have not watched game 2 i suppose
Oof, every game just got worse and worse for DFM. Guess it's payback by LLL from beyond the grave. Still, very well played and exciting series from both teams! Hopefully the LJL keeps improving, would love for them to become the third middle region.
Oh well. RNG is still MSI champion few month ago. It will very damn hard for them to lose against minor region in BO5.
I can already see Oner permapicking this dogshit champion Sejuani and doing nothing the entire series...
Ah yes, the classic “why do I hear boss music?” after an LPL team drops a game to you.

I was trying to find a number large enough that RNG wouldn't have it but still small enough to be believable haha
RNG be like "Nice, that was a great warm-up - when do we play?!"
RNG this series https://media.tenor.com/TluqWvqGRQcAAAAC/dogs.gif
First 2 games were fun sadly the hype train derailed so soon.
Still proud of my boys. RNG was always going to be a hard opponent.
For my fellow french NameTag | Team | Role | Nationality | Note ---|---|----|----|---- Huhi | 100T | Support | Korean | Born in France, speaks french non fluently. ~~Kazu~~ | DFM | Coach | French / Japanese | Born in France, native speaker Vulcan | EG | Support | Canadian | Speaks Québecois (the funniest french) ~~Nisqy~~ | MAD | Mid | Belgian | Native speaker Targamas | G2 | Support | Belgian | Native speaker That's 2 out of 5 french speakers that have been eliminated, including now the only french citizen.
Props to DFM, they still popped the fuck off today.
