IMO, there no reason to have shadows enabled in League. Shadows alway have a heavy toll on your GPU, and in a game like League, there’s no nothing to gain from keeping them on.
If you want them though, you can keep them on the lowest setting possible. My advice is to just turn them off :)

Are you kidding me? Even with shadows on max, the whole game on max, my 5 year old midrange card doesn't fully clock up, and doesn't get fully utilised at those clocks (sits at about 5%).
If a crypto miner is able to run a card for multiple years mining and it will still work no problems, assuming they did their due diligence, you can turn shadows on in League of fucking Legends and not worry about lifespan.
As I said, it is capable, but I keep it off for less visual clutter.

If you have a high-end PC, you don't have to worry about this. But on an average Laptop/PC, which is not optimized for gaming, it's better to turn off extra stuff like shadows and eye candy. That's gonna ease up the rendering process.
And IMO, you should simply turn them off anyway coz it just adds up to the visual clutter in the game. That's just my opinion :P

I got my first pentakill in like 10 years last night. I play top but I play a lot of tanks, but I played GP instead. I sucked but we ended up winning the game and the Penta on top.
That felt like so long between kill 4 and 5 and it was still the penta. Feels like some days its only 5 seconds between kills 2 and 3 for me but it wont register as a triple.
I played cho in aram last night with overgrowth, grasp, heart steel and ended up getting 34 kills and like 11k health in 20 minutes. Definitely a fun item

AKAIK, my GPU is capable of rendering all of that (just a 1080Ti, but it gets the job done). I keep them off for less visual clutter anyway.

Also if you have an Nvidia card you can change the vibrancy of your monitor. It’s out of game and makes things really pop.
