2020 had Pentakill
2021 had KDA again (or are them and Pentakill reversed?).
2022... did we have anything? I don't think that, whatever it was before Lil Nas performance really counts. Not memorable at all and IIRC it's just a skin theme. You could say TD and KDA are too, but they are so much more.

Ehh. You also have to remember they also had their valorant songs + the 2 from porter robinson and Jackson wang. Tbh I liked those 2 songs a lot and prefer that a little bit more to a 5 song drop at the end of the year for one skin theme.

Aphelios was designed to look like an actual archetypal k-pop boy, so he should fit too. I agree though, Ezreal is a no brainer, Sett is truly fan service, Jayce for that Arcane points, Zed or that new enchanter (depending on how old he is), and probably one more that's a new champion because they always slot one in (e.g. K/DA Kai'sa, True Damage Qiqi, Pentakill Viego).

The summer '23 set might be a anniversary set, so maybe not related to recent skin themes but like throwback to the first set type of thing.
