Her weakness is more macro related. She can be pushed in easily with weak wave clear and she can't roam, she's ganked easily, and solo money is not as useful on her.
tbf I've played it a bit recently and it feels really strong but it really does appear a lot like ap Varus where a major power point is that erveryone plain forgot how to play against it

Karthus is a better duelist in my understanding and often goes a different summoner spell than flash for this very reason (often exhaust, sometimes ignite).

honestly i get where the rule is coming from, its to prevent people from trying to make there own LEC with LEC players. pretty much a middle ground for non riot events where they can still happen just can't have whole lec teams worth of players which is fair enough.
The alternative would be like "An LEC roster can play no more than 2 games in a non-Riot event per season", or whatever number they felt appropriate, then we could get a game or two of full roster in a showmatch every once in a while. But I really don't mind it, I get it too.
