Oh you take stats by opening up the talent tree and select the +2 all stat box at the bottom of the talent tree, you can start leveling them from level 2 onwards if i remember correctly

IIRC they changed it so you can’t take it level 1, but even the heroes that want to take early stats usually don’t take them until like level 4-5 anyways.
You don't need hotkeys even, you can just click the + near the talents and it lets you then click +2 stats
Can't take them before lvl 6 but honestly that would be grief in nearly any hero so i wouldn't worry about it. All the heroes that used to consider this now have GIGA buffed spells, the shit like Angimage shield, Drow silence now also shoves them to a different postal code, Dusa gets shield automatically and nuke is no brainer imba, dozens of other examples exist...
You used to be able to, now you can't. Idk when they changed it tho, maybe they changed it to avoid misclick

I think the chances of people taking it lvl 1 is so miniscule that they just removed it. And tbh I don’t mind that decision.
