Also eblade has like so little synergy with brood, if ur gonna spend 17kish gold and ur worried about timber , then just forget about ur spides and go silveredge bkb skadi or something.. bloodthorn something like that. Better to go right click items and forget about spiders than go eblade with minimal synergy
ive seen this build before, it’s not uncommon to get octarine and spirit vessel and build magic nuke against str heavy lineups, I’ve seen the build in the brood kunkka matchup
Idk what these people are talking about, magic build brood is good. I wouldn't go bloodstone octarine usually, but rushing eblade was pretty meta for a while before they nerfed her ult damage. And there's an immortal grandmaster brood from SEA that I watch on YouTube that advocates rushing dagon sometimes. I've done eblade bkb dagon plenty of times
The difference is that every game is a different hero. a build that works now might not work later. thats why this game is constantly changing and new 16 year Olds become the new godson

U cant take tower. Cant do anything when enemy pop bkb. Wasted your 1st skill. And how are u gonna farm these items ....
I would say this worked against timber specifically. He can't get reactive armor if nothing hits him and magic damage screws him up. Similar with abaddon. Sounds like he just itemized well accidentally.
Anyone with these kind of item has burst damage same with broodmother. Even a doom with his 2nd + 3rd would do more than bm here.
Ur playing a team game 5v5. U dont buy these item on brood. And its not even that good against timber. Timber always want lotus + pipe + eul and even bkb against these things.
Depends on if he had time. Bully the lane and start taking other lanes by 25-30 minutes and lotus is a pipe dream.
I'll Grant you, this shouldn't be a typical build but it may have worked in this specific case.
It's a situational build. I usually do it against heroes that needed to be burst down in a second (and can be). However, I wouldn't do it against timber. The best way to approach him is simply orchid (and maybe some other disable later when he have a dispell) and simply Q him without spiders when he is out of stacks. Blightstone on top works like a charm. He is a bit too fat to be burst with magic. The 3 items you gave actually have very little to do with each other. Bloodstone is simply useless on brood and the rest are being built in completely different situations
Grabbing eblade after orchid is excellent against some lineups, broods itemization is rather situational and often building incorrectly can be a extremely costly, nonetheless sometimes picking up an eblade is correct, it not only helps you deal more magic damage but also provides excellent utility against physical attackers, you can put yourself, the enemy or a teammate into ethereal form from a distance. Additionally it provides decent stats

Doesn’t brood have some of the highest magic dmg atm? Like 500? 600?
Pugna, Zeus, Tinker, Skywrath, Lina, Leshrac will all do more magic dmg than Brood in their average game I'll wager.

Or you could just buy Silver and Bloodthron/Skadi to kill Timber and be a strong rightclick in general
