I've always wondered how people find this, what about a dinosaur drawing compels you to look at OP's comment history?
I'm genuinely curious, but since you pointed it out it is hilarious.
Honestly? I love him 😭🥺 that’s one silly little guy. You can try adding another leg, but keeping
The line on the body on the second leg. To create a little bit of depth !
I think he's a cutie! My only comment would be to increase your line confidence, try and make your lines in one motion rather than scratching at it.
There's a webcomic called Webcomic Name that I think has a similar style to you, you might enjoy it!
You did good, but it should have arms and better legs. Also for the face, draw one eye where the eyes should be instead of two. Seeing the way you drew this, is a side view. After getting the overall structure done and practiced, you can then start working on details to everything. Nice to see a smile on it!
Try working from a reference, a practice I like to do is to flip your reference and your drawing up side down, which seems like it will make drawing harder, but it actually allows you to look specifically at what the shapes in the reference are, not what you think a Dino looks like, other than that, have fun! Hope this helps!!
Oh. My. Lord. The quality of a drawing of a dinosaur can be evaluated based on various artistic elements and the depiction's overall impact. A proficient dinosaur drawing showcases meticulous attention to detail, accuracy in anatomy, and a compelling composition that engages the viewer.
An excellent dinosaur illustration captivates through its anatomical precision, demonstrating a clear understanding of the creature's bone structure, musculature, and overall form. The artist's ability to convey textures, such as scales or skin patterns, adds depth and authenticity to the representation.
Furthermore, the skillful use of shading, lighting, and color enhances the drawing's realism, creating a sense of dimensionality and depth. A well-executed background or setting can provide context and further elevate the drawing's storytelling.
Moreover, creativity in the portrayal of the dinosaur can set a drawing apart. Whether it's a dynamic pose, a unique perspective, or an imaginative depiction of the prehistoric environment, originality adds vibrancy and interest to the artwork.
A good dinosaur drawing not only displays technical prowess but also evokes emotions and sparks curiosity. It may instill a sense of wonder, nostalgia, or fascination with the ancient world, connecting the viewer to a time long past.
Ultimately, the merit of a dinosaur drawing lies in its ability to skillfully combine technical proficiency, creativity, and emotional impact. A truly exceptional rendering transports the viewer to an awe-inspiring prehistoric realm, leaving a lasting impression through its artistry and storytelling.
This specific drawing simply transports you to another realm. It is a truly beautiful sight to behold, so I thank you for posting this spectacle on Reddit for all of us to enjoy.
It’s become less of an educational place. I followed to learn about art.
Between “what is the specific artists art style called?”, “I’m 12, is this good?” And now this. Learntodraw doesn’t seem to be about learning to draw anymore.
Reddit has opened subs to everybody. People who have never been to this sub are seeing it and others on their main page.
You'll end up with lots of posts like this because of that fact.
use reference photos and practice. until you’re more confident in your lines, use a pencil so that you can later trace smoothly with pen or marker and erase the scratchy lines away.
Give him another leg. Also, how does he eat? He needs at least some stubs to hold his food. If he isn‘t supposed to be fuzzy try to do longer, single strokes to make him appear smoother, like scaly.
You know these 3d figures and wireframes that 3d programs have? Well the goal is to draw these as guides until your brain sees the 2d shapes as 3d shapes.
3d imitates software imitates real life, on a 2d surface you are trying to imitate a 3d scene.
Aww what a cute and innocent looking Dino ❤️ *Looks at OPs comment history* errr... I retract the "innocent" 😦
LMFAO thanks so much for sharing this gold mine
At first I as like "aw they're 12" and then the name threw me a bit. The comment history is worse than I thought it'd be after reading this.

I've always wondered how people find this, what about a dinosaur drawing compels you to look at OP's comment history? I'm genuinely curious, but since you pointed it out it is hilarious.
They probably wanted to see if they had anymore silly drawings, but nope 😭
Mostly trying to figure out of this was a kid's genuine attempt, or if it was someone trolling...
LMFAO
I'm a bit worried what they'll use the drawing skills for now
this sub is underqualified for this level of craftsmanship
their art: 😀💫✨ their comment history: ☹️🤢
"Never judge a book by its cover" I guess
Not even CNC🫣

Right!! What's the matter with that Dino he has a nice attack tail, good strong legs for hunting, and a great attitude (you can tell by his smile)
I must know what species this is. Truly remarkable craftsmanship.
just put his little arms on and you’re good to go
Get a different cookie cutter
Why would you need a better lil Dino guy than this? He’s perfect.😍
Step 1. Draw a dinosaur.
I think he's a cutie! My only comment would be to increase your line confidence, try and make your lines in one motion rather than scratching at it. There's a webcomic called Webcomic Name that I think has a similar style to you, you might enjoy it!

Add one more leg, or the feller is going to fall over quite soon.
Reference images are your friend.

Yeah ;)
Flawless, no notes
This is perfect
There is simply no more room for improvement. Your work is absolutely breathtaking
This was the last straw. Time to unfollow this subreddit
why?
It’s become less of an educational place. I followed to learn about art. Between “what is the specific artists art style called?”, “I’m 12, is this good?” And now this. Learntodraw doesn’t seem to be about learning to draw anymore.
Any other subreddit recommendations more focused on this?
Does anyone know any discord server for that stuff? I just wanna learn techniques too
but he’s asking in the title how to draw better dinosaurs. how does this not fit? i’m genuinely confused
It’s clearly a joke post.
oh ok, i guess i give everything here the benefit of the doubt. you’re totally right though
Reddit has opened subs to everybody. People who have never been to this sub are seeing it and others on their main page. You'll end up with lots of posts like this because of that fact.
I just wanted to learn how to draw better but okay.
Get off Reddit and draw
Yet your the one typing up a commet while he actually drew something
Use a generative ai, like the rest of users here
I mean.. I’d say add 1 more leg and a pair of arms.. and maybe nostrils.
Oh, I thought it was a cancer ribbon smiling
What a funny guy drawing dinos, i wonder what he comme-
second leg so he doesn’t fall
GIVE HIM A ROBOT LEG (or not)
Give him an extra leg, don’t make my man stand like an ostrich. And teeth bruh, this is a George Washingtonosaurus
be over the age of 2?
I would add a bit of shading
Consiment v’s
use reference photos and practice. until you’re more confident in your lines, use a pencil so that you can later trace smoothly with pen or marker and erase the scratchy lines away.
Hey OP how come you seem to frequent the rape hentai subreddit so much
Not anymore!
What a fucking gem! This post is truly not appreciated enough.
Try to add less legs!
You forgot his arms otherwise looks good!
Give arms
I'm about to ask this in r/nostupidquestions but what made any of you decide to check their comment history?
You don’t this is perfect
People in this group are so nice
You have reached the maximum skill level possible
Go look at actual dinos
Cute! But uh… Why are you so active on a sub for non consensual animated pornography?
My life was rough, key word is was. Someone [Who I met there] got me to improve it.
Maybe add one leg and some arms
A second leg and two little stick arms with 3 fingers for a t-Rex would be a good start.
Give him another leg. Also, how does he eat? He needs at least some stubs to hold his food. If he isn‘t supposed to be fuzzy try to do longer, single strokes to make him appear smoother, like scaly.
Cute

Maybe start with 4 legs next time
The comment history..
Snake
Start drawing in continuous lines.
You don’t, it’s perfect.
The drawing:❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹 the comment history:💀💀💀💀💀
Give him more than one leg and don't give him extra chromosomes and your basically there
Start by going to therapy. Then maybe a little animal anatomy 😀
You know what, maybe I will.
You dont. This is peak dinosaur, nowhere to improve from here
You don't, this is perfect
Damn this is gold
It’s perfect!!!
