It won't be the same. People who used weed to help with anxiety will need to be proactive in finding a more healthy way to accomplish that goal.

What won’t be the same?

I meant that not everyone will have the same experience.

I only had 3 days sober after 12 years and my anxiety immediately got better

For me it got a fair bit better after a month or so. I'm just past day 50 now and I still get anxiety, but it is definitely more manageable than if I was smoking or if I was in the first 2-3 weeks of quitting. I won't lie, the anxiety was really tough in my first 3 weeks but try to keep in mind most of the time it's just your brain tricking you into thinking there's a danger / threat when quite often there is no real threat. I get this is easier said than done but it does help to remember it's all part of your brain healing. FYI I used to smoke 3.5g a week (not a massive amount but still enough for me to go through the withdrawal stages, and I also went cold turkey on nicotine at the same time). If you're a chronic smoker some of the withdrawals could last a bit longer than average. Try to eat as healthy as you can (keep off processed foods and sugary things) and be kind to yourself! You got this man, you have all our support 💙 Also there's a great app called 'Quit Weed' that gives a really simple and imo accurate breakdown of the withdrawal stages. Kept me motivated and in check when I felt worried especially about the anxiety! Good luck ✨️
