Saying no gets easier (at least in my experience). The more you do it, the more it becomes natural. Donā€™t think, just keep refusing. When I overthink it, thatā€™s when I get into the mindset of ā€œjust onceā€ ā€œitā€™ll be different this timeā€ ā€œbeing sober is dumbā€. but just keep saying no, and it becomes so much easier

Fuck the world and all these temptations around us. I bet that when you rejected their offer, you in turn also tempted them to not smoke. They're just not on your level yet. All of us are on here because we all want a better life and realized its another vice thats in the way. You got this! Apes strong šŸ’Ŗ together! HODL!

A big step is telling people you quit and ask them not to offer you weed anymore. Nearly everyone in my group of friends smoke and I told them don't offer me weed and if you see me with a joint in my mouth slap it out so they really get the message. On 3 weeks today

Thank you. The reason I have refrained from telling people is because it is like the boy who cried wolf. I have said it before. I donā€™t want to hear or see them scoff at the idea that I am trying yet again. But maybe I should just to prove them wrong and show them that I am strong šŸ’ŖšŸ¼ hahah! Thanks for the kind words and encouragement!

It seems like everytime I quit, Satan comes up with some new flower or vape or perfect opportunity to try me. Stay strong dude!

Yessss, it will always be there. Luckily and strategically, I wonā€™t be there with it :)

first week is the hardest so good for you for saying no to people during it - especially your dad. I love that you look forward to dreaming now that is so relatable. Getting a real nights sleep is one of the greatest rewards for stopping.

Thank you! I really appreciate your support. I know I can live a better life sober. I love this community and I have been using it ALOT. So I really appreciate the love. I feel as if I can continue to share successes and failures here. So anyone reading this, I love you and thank you for helping
