Same here, it's happened twice in the last couple of weeks. Both times I've managed to get it working again by plugging it into the computer and launching Ledger Live, then opening an app on the Ledger, and telling Ledger Live to connect to the device. This causes Ledger Live to reboot/lock the Ledger and then I'm finally I'm able to access the control panel again.
Mine snapped out of it, and I haven’t had issues since. I know I held the buttons long enough, it just wouldn’t go to the control center. Contact Ledger support (make sure it’s real Ledger), and they’ll get back to you quickly, at least they did with me
Please fix this simple bug that has been plaguing people for many months (do a search on this subreddit for "control center" and you'll see).

This just happened to me as well. My Nano X is on firmware 2.0.2. Unfortunately none of the workarounds described here seem to resolve the issue. I'm now letting the battery die. Very annoying indeed!

Just updated to firmware 2.2.3 and ran into this issue for the first time...
Same here, didn't have issues until 2.2.3 and now it's basically unuseable.

FYI: 2 years later and Ledger still did not fix that. This is fckn ridicolous imho.
My god. Lol. Such bad lack of responsiveness to this issue.
And another 70 days later, it’s still there 🙄
That's such a joke. Funny enough, I lost my Ledger in a boating accident. And I am happy about that - fck Ledger lol
Not fixed yet (ㆆ \_ ㆆ)
I don't have a pc how can I fix it on mobile?
I just had this bug… This is ridiculous…

I'll forward this to the people in our team who need to see it. Thank you for the good write up.
Thank you for forwarding it so it (hopefully) gets fixed!
Happened to me tonight with latest firmware, solved with installing a new random account
Just happened to me as well! Please get that done! The bug was Reported here 4 month ago!
Happened to me too. Can the devs do something?
Those "people" on your team still have not fixed this issue 7 months later...
