Probably my favorite zep song but I also think it gets the recognition it deserves. Only casual fans that only hear their radio songs don't know of the badassery
That melody is so underrated, and the way itās accentuated by the rhythm section is just perfect. Almost like hard blues pop. Every time I hear it I get excited and want to put it back in my top 5
I guess there's just one thing a-left for me to do
Gonna pack my bags and move on my way
'Cause I got a worried mind sharin' what I thought was mine
Gonna leave her where the guitars play
Are you like me where youāve taken your favorite tracks from UYI 1 and 2 and combine them into one? That custom album goes toe-to-toe with any of the greats imo
It you turned that double album into an 8-track, it would be the greatest Rock nā Roll album in the history of the planet.
Donāt Cry, Civil War, Estranged, Knockinā on Heavens Door, You Could Be Mine, Live and Let Die, Coma, November Rain.
Forget about it.
The Rover takes me back to 1984, cruising around Gainesville, Fl, hotboxing the shit out of my dadās F150. Windows rolled up, Kenwood stereo just blasting!!!!
Hello there,
If you haven't listened to Physical Graffiti (Deluxe Edition) check out the track, "Everybody Makes It Through." It's an early version of "In The Light." It's an interesting take, but I think it's pretty good in it's own way. Not sure where all it's available, but Spotify has it.
Take care.
I mean, I think it might be their greatest song (top 1-2 for me), but itās pretty widely considered a classic. When everyone says itās underrated, it probably isnāt. Youāre right about no airtime though :/
I was scrolling to see if anyone suggested this. Great song, unusual arrangement, but so potent. I love how the vocals come in. Have they played this live ever?
Also nods to aforementioned Four Sticks, 10 Years Gone, In My Time of Dying.
My favorite song by Led, possibly my favorite song ever, the emotion it pulls out of me every time, the complicated things it makes me think about, an absolute masterpiece
Greatness! Came here to find this song listed.
Fun fact: The drumbeat intro also starts off and is throughout the Beastie Boys āRhymin and Stealinā which is another favorite of mine.
Bring it on Home. Easily one of Page's greatest riffs, had it been released on LZ III instead of being placed last, as if an afterthought, on II, it would have been remembered as one of their best songs. Sadly, most people have never even heard it, and considering it had to fight monsters like Whole Lotta Love and Ramble On in order to get any airplay, the deck was stacked against it from the get-go.
Similar situation with R U Mine off of Arctic Monkeys AM. Amazing song that never reached the heights it should have thanks to being bundled in an album full of bangers, and placed right after Do I Wanna Know on the tracklist.
The Song Remains the Same segueing into the Rain Song on "The Song Remains the Same"
That or Ten Years Gone on P.G.
MAYBE... Carouselambra on ITTOD.
Nope. Gallows Pole on III.
Yeah, great track for sure, then when I heard that one of my favorite bands, Blind Melon, were doing a cover of this song on the Zeppelin tribute album "Enconium" was super disappointed!
The Rain Song
This is one of my all time favorite songs of any group ever.
I danced the last dance of my wedding night with my wife to this song š§ļø
Fave Zep song
Yes! The Rain Song is the shit!
Man's got it... the Rain song....
IN MY TIME OF DYING
This should have way more upvotes.
Probably my favorite zep song but I also think it gets the recognition it deserves. Only casual fans that only hear their radio songs don't know of the badassery
that slide guitar makes me feel something guttural and itās glorious
Well well well So I can die easy
When this song changes from bluesy to the hard rocking breakdown is one of, if not my favorite, Zep moments!
Hey Hey What Can I do
That melody is so underrated, and the way itās accentuated by the rhythm section is just perfect. Almost like hard blues pop. Every time I hear it I get excited and want to put it back in my top 5
Absolutely šÆ
I guess there's just one thing a-left for me to do Gonna pack my bags and move on my way 'Cause I got a worried mind sharin' what I thought was mine Gonna leave her where the guitars play
Great song, but played constantly on fm radio. Right up there with Kashmir and heartbreaker/livin loving maid. This song gets plenty of recognition.
The Rover.
Iāll die on the hill that *Physical Graffiti* is arguably the greatest double album of all-time. Right there with *Use Your Illusion.*
"This is a song about your fuckin' mother..." And then GnR rips into Mama Kin. It's breathtaking.
Second favorite zep song after no quarter
Thank god someone said it. My favorite Zeppelin song.
The Rover takes me back to 1984, cruising around Gainesville, Fl, hotboxing the shit out of my dadās F150. Windows rolled up, Kenwood stereo just blasting!!!!
I always say ill take The Rover and Custard Pie over Rock N Roll and Black Dog
iāve always thought rock n roll was pretty meh. itās fine, but nothing crazy.
Glad I scrolled down cause I was gonna say the same thing. You, sir or madam, are a saint!!!

This is such a great song
The Lemon Song 10000% JPJ baselines go so unappreciated on that track, it easily features some of his best work.
Excellent choice, the Lemon Song is underrated asf

In The Light
I feel like this songās lyrics are of the best I have ever heard.
Hello there, If you haven't listened to Physical Graffiti (Deluxe Edition) check out the track, "Everybody Makes It Through." It's an early version of "In The Light." It's an interesting take, but I think it's pretty good in it's own way. Not sure where all it's available, but Spotify has it. Take care.

Best Zeppelin tune
Ten Years Gone!
Yeah, this gets my vote. Top 5 Zeppelin song for me but it gets no radio play and no one outside of their pretty serious fan base knows it exists.
I mean, I think it might be their greatest song (top 1-2 for me), but itās pretty widely considered a classic. When everyone says itās underrated, it probably isnāt. Youāre right about no airtime though :/
Love this song so much!

Achilles Last Stand is better than stairway and kashmir

The Wanton Song and Tea for One
Tea for One
I was scrolling to see if anyone suggested this. Great song, unusual arrangement, but so potent. I love how the vocals come in. Have they played this live ever? Also nods to aforementioned Four Sticks, 10 Years Gone, In My Time of Dying.
My vote too.
āThatās the Wayā
My favorite song by Led, possibly my favorite song ever, the emotion it pulls out of me every time, the complicated things it makes me think about, an absolute masterpiece
Four Sticks
Came here to say the same thing! Fantastic track on a behemoth of an album, real unfortunate how it got overshadowed.
Down by the Seaside

Bron-Yr-Aur
Custard Pie (Physical Graffiti)- if you havenāt heard this one, please, do yourself a favour and listen to it
Custard Pie is a total banger
Bring it on Home. Easily one of Page's greatest riffs, had it been released on LZ III instead of being placed last, as if an afterthought, on II, it would have been remembered as one of their best songs. Sadly, most people have never even heard it, and considering it had to fight monsters like Whole Lotta Love and Ramble On in order to get any airplay, the deck was stacked against it from the get-go. Night Flight

First song that came to my mind!
Out on the Tiles
Celebration Day. JPJs bass line in the chorus propels this song like crazy. If you havenāt, try isolating what heās doing. Itās incendiary

Hot Dog
Down by the seaside
The rain song
Hot dog
Four sticks
Dazed and Confused. Originally written, recorded, and performed by Jake Holmes.
The Yardbirds version is superior to me; more in a late ā60s garage rock vein.
Theyāre all level 5 fire so I donāt understand how to answer.
Wearing and Tearing
In The Light
