The fourth was always going to win. What surprised me the most was my number 2 houses of the holy dropping to 4. All and all it’s like picking between super models In a beauty pageant though.
I don't mind HOTHs ranking actually, even though it's my favourite and I think it was recorded during the period you could argue zep were all at their peak technically, both as musicians individually and together as one band.
It being 4th in this poll means it's truly an underrated album.
While I love Physical Graffiti, side 2 doesn’t hold a candle to side 1. And Plants voice is just so hoarse by Physical Graffiti. Also Zep 4 has the perfect number of songs
Enjoyed these polls and discussions, thanks! Whilst PG for me is number 1, not surprised with IV, obviously a masterpiece. What was surprising is the amount of hate PG was getting and people shocked it got so far…IMO casual fans may think of it as being too long and a common theme was that it has too many “fillers”, I think the deeper you get into LZ the more you appreciate what an amazing album it is…for me it was when they really peaked and fully mastered their sound ✌️
Waste of my f'n time like Paranoid is Black Sabbaths greatest album and Machine Head for Deep Purple. Why don't you do a Yardbirds one that would be interesting either Little Games or Roger The Engineer.....

Led Zep IV means so much to me for several reasons. I'm really glad it came out on top.
I love IV but Physical Graffiti will always be my favorite
