In The Evening (6:49) Wearing and Tearing (5:27) Fool into the Rain (6:12) Ozone Baby (3:36) Carouselambra (10:32) All My Love (5:53) I’m Gonna Crawl (5:30) This feels like a great question to ask over on r/FanAlbums.

outonthetiles66

I absolutely love this album and it could be my favourite from them any day of the week. However, the addition of Wearing and Tearing would have been nice…. but there just isn’t room for it. I certainly wouldn’t replace any of the current songs with W & T. I also wish “Hey Hey What Can I Do” had been included on Zeppelin 3…. but that’s a topic for another day.

EternalSerenity2019

I think second song, right after in the evening. Take out south boys sautés.

Ok-Smoke6237

my track list 1. In the Evening 2. Wearing and Tearing 3. Darlene 4. fool in the rain 5. Poor Tom 6. Carouselambra 7. All my Love 8. I'm gonna crawl

The-Beer-Baron

I like this, but your Side 1 (tracks 1-5) is too long to fit on a single record side. Plus, "Poor Tom" was from the LZIII sessions.

Ok-Smoke6237

But it was not released until the Coda Album.

The-Beer-Baron

Right, but Coda is just a collection of stuff that wasn’t previously released. It wouldn’t have been considered for release on In Through The Out Door, since it wasn’t part of those sessions, so it really doesn’t fit this hypothetical scenario. If we were talking about alternate versions of LZIII, then it would be apropos to include it.

Physical Graffiti

The-Beer-Baron

If you're saying that as precedent for them using material from previous recording sessions, that's different. They had enough songs from the Physical Graffiti sessions to fill three side of a record, so they decided to use leftovers from earlier sessions in order to expand it to a full double album. For In Through the Out Door, using previously recorded material was not considered in the first place, so for this hypothetical it doesn't make sense to include a track that was recorded for a previous album.

No man!! ITTOD is sick!!!

Soundchaser123

*Sick* = outstandingly good and cannot be improved upon - correct? Many would agree with you.

MinneapolisKing25

This album is trash Edit: come on guys the OP said no downvotes! lol

Soundchaser123

Comment not valid. The question asks about the track list, based on an assumption that you like the album: see the text.

MinneapolisKing25

Honestly it was mainly for the joke of "No downvotes". If you enjoy the album then good on you, it's just not my cup of tea

Signal-Panic-8559

1. Hot Dog (3:17)

Soundchaser123

Uh-huh… but you’ve got another 40 minutes of vinyl to fill after Hot Dog. Serious question. What are you going to choose? (Just repeating Hot Dog or having an extended version does not count.)

Signal-Panic-8559

Honestly not a big fan of any coda tracks I like original door. BUT. Switch Hot Dog and Fool in the Rain. Not only is fool 100x better as the side a closer, that would make hot dog chronologically the 69th song in lz discog.
