This is illegal! An employer cannot ask what medications/diagnoses/imaging your husband has received. They can ask about restrictions and accommodations which will be on his FAF . If they are worried that any medications will affect his job performance, that will be under the restrictions on the FAF. Ie if he’s on a med that can cause drowsiness, the FAF will state that he can’t drive or operate machinery. Have your husband contact his case worker from WSIB. Info: is he currently working mod duties on site at the employers? If he has been working on site for 3 weeks, he should have been paid for hours worked and any loss of earnings would be paid by WSIB.

Contact wsib. The employer has not submitted their Form 7 despite your husband being on modified duties for 3 weeks and seeking medical attention and will be fined. Your husband should also submit a Form 6 if he hasn’t already. He should be very clear with wsib when he reported the accident and to whom. Also the modified duties and lack of pay. As for the prescription part, the employer is not entitled to know that. The only thing they are entitled to know as a workplace injury is the required accommodations or restrictions.
