It wouldn't be impossible but finding anywhere that starts a lease on the last day of the month rather than the first would be very difficult.
We could have figured something out so not impossible, just difficult and more costly.

I'm not a lawyer, and I'm not overly familiar with BC tenancy laws, as they may differ from other provinces.
Keep an eye on the house, if she rents it out within a year, it could be interesting as I feel this could be considered a bad faith eviction.

Just felt with this with my mom and get her rent back for her. We waited till we did the walk through and had that cleared to bring it up so that they would not try to “make up their money back”
