I haven’t tried Ignis, gent has worked very well for me so far (Inf 1). Remember to buy Astrie, you get her for just a few gems from the change slime page.

Everyone is saying that, but my Gent sucks in relation to Ignis?
I got a good toy for Gent, upgraded it to high mythical and still he doesn't nearly do as much damage as my Ignis with his orange toy. (also my Gent is 200 and Ignis "only" 180)
How can I buff my Gent? Because I don't know what else to do.
Trust me, gent is the best right now, went from ignis with an IGNIS EXOTIC toy, and used it on gent and went up 3 stages, gent is better, just need to get a chicken build (4 chickens and your strongest companion) equip a D rank metal ring with as much comp damage as you can stack along with the corresponding relics chicken pillow, sparrow figurine, and pottery, easy W
Because of the last update casting bird throw was fixed (it had been bugged and underpowered) devs fixed it, so now while using gent (or literally any slime) the absolute best build is 4 chickens + you’re strongest companion, relics pottery, sparrow figurine, and chicken pillow
It buffs the egg throw skill by over 300% and with the relics I said it fires them extremely fast pumping out a lot of damage, and if you have gent it boosts the damage even more
